Being honest my 2cents would be let her be make sure your not overwatering decrease nitrogen a few mls even see does the colour change at all over the course of 4 to 5 days I understand you are freaked out by the stems bit don't be sometimes little mutations like that go south and sometimes they might just be the best bud you have ever grown nature is amazing plant life is very resilient hence all the trees you see growing outside everywhere
so little less water and small bit less nitrogen only a small bit less sometimes less is more mate touch back to the thread over the next few days of anything worse or changes
No I just ask because I am new to dirt, thanks. I really don’t know hardly what is going on, I just followed a stream of research suggesting that was fine. Maybe I up potted too big too fast and it will grow out of it?
I figured soil, I have less control of what is going on and that a few leaves will just die out or do this here and there. Lots going on underneath the surface of media that I just couldn’t tell you.
One of the reasons I did more coco, when I started growing again I found it nice that it can be just salts and coco fibers.

Ya see a lot of the times when you see a ph issue you usually 9 times out of 10 will get a leaf issue meaning a sign of a deficiency because if too high or too low the plant will struggle to take up these nutrients hence it will be deficient in something it looks perfectly healthy just a little too much N and maybe a little over watered even for the minute add another day even half a day to your watering schedule see how that goes and watch for any changes

Ok yea I am learning as I go along, I just now get what you mean possibly. Too much water so it is breaking down excessive nutes too fast? I just apply an old school trick I heard, two knukles or inches deep dry and light weight pot but the weighing part gets harder to do as it gets older. But that is when I water.
Trying to not underwater it or dryback too hard and show leaf signs to then act as that is a bit too harshly late for plant. What ever you recommend reading, let me know. Lots to read but only some is accurate, this thread is an example. I am trusting RIU on this one because RIU is usually right. Though the 10 different answer phenomina is always there.
I got this 2x2 and small plant to learn dirt before I grow more at once. I read it is kind of a guessing game and that is why people use blumats or whatever for this.

It's not the pots man trust me all sorts of mixed opinions pm what pots to start in and everyone has a preference but no opinions are wrong we all just do things our way I have start directly in final 15ltf pots directly into soil for germ can't say I enjoy it really it's not for me so I start in a jiffy pellet in a propagator with my 200w small led veg panel run it at 25% for 4-5 days give them a chance to adapt to strong light then I up in 10% every 3-4 days again take your time and take things slow very easy to make silly mistake when your over thinking it or very excited of you see a single mark it's panic mode try taking a more relaxed approach and your plants will benefit more because you will be making more calculated decisions of you feel me

Once she gets a little bigger and starts to grow vigorous the watering will be dialed down to a T yeah exactly as the root system grows the pot will become heavier anyway so use whatever method works to not over or under water it but as roots pack up she will start to drink a fair amount in a shorter space of time starting a grow journal with a notepad and pen is a great way to keep track of dates times and methods used because if you try something new that really pays off of you document it you can apply it too another grow and know exactly what you done or in a bad case where you went wrong

How does this plant look, what do the leaves say? I was going to top dress soon and have been watering every other day, 35 days old just about. pot gets light the next day, first 2” dry in ffof soil. It is an auto working into flower. Just a fun project, not expecting much out of it.

By a bright guess I might say after 35 days in the same place would you maybe feel a little claustrophobic have you checked roots lately to see if your root bound might explain why they are drinking so heavy and pots get light in weight very quick I would start there because there autos they will grow faster foliage and that means faster roots

Under neath in the drain holes I see some roots and mycelium, nothing spurting out like root bound etc. I did not want to take plant out but it feels like I could because roots are well wrapped up inside through out the dirt.
I was about to say if the small pot might have something to do with it. I had people suggest up potting early on but stuck to a comment I read that half gallon was enough but feels like it is small enough to have some issues because of it.
It droops often but not too bad then perks back up. I did top it twice to remove abnormal growth, it was the same plant I referred to earlier on. I was thinking to top dress any day now. Might have to water daily too soon.

I can next water which I was thinking of top dressing then and will take a photo. I thought root bound was ok, I see many photos of healthy plants with root bound. The space is a 1x1 that has like 1.5 feet of tall space so wanted a smaller plant. I could saw off the root bind and refill the bottom with soil.

Nah best to go up a bit if you can even 1.5-2.0 tines the size of the current one she will reward you for it come harvest time ladies love there own spaceget potting lad
I got 1gal fabric pots and more soil, I could and am considering it. It would be pretty late to do that but it does have 45 more days to grow for the most part.

Yeah I'd put on a bit of James brown I feel good while doing so and make a jolly good tame out with it
Alright I thought about it and will do it tomorrow. It is a project to mess around with and so far it does look more sad than happy. I just don’t want too large of a plant and am doing 4 cola training so it isn’t over crowded.

You will control her no problem ya see using lst is just about all you can really do with auto to not stress it too much you get fuck all yield ya get me and not giving her enough room to sprout out more roots the only thing that will be more sad in the end will be the yields bro

It is a space grow, was going to light most of the plant with strip lights, low ppfd. Was expecting low yield any way, like a ounce or less. I would be more concerned about my 2x2 and yielding good like 4oz. As far as pruning autos and defoliating, I read and personally found you could treat autos like a photoperiod plant.
I actually lost a plant from lack of pruning in a small space and so this being 4x smaller being easier to do. I am sure humidity will by sky high even with 4 colas. There really physically isn’t alot of wide room to grow in, the transplanting will probably be just what it needs to grow into the size I was hoping for but not too big.

@Daino Hope I made the right choice, it is 1 gallon now, doubled up from last pot size. Did not look root bound but just in time to transplant though I thought people leave it be in start of flower but the leaves were small. I don’t want twig like yield either.
Hope this also cuts me a break from constant drooping and under/over watering by mistake. Plus it was almost time to feed it too. Wish I made it shallow but had a feeling tall/narrow potting would allow it to root down as they like to leave the top surface unrooted but damn, it shorted me on space quite a bit.
