My 2000 watt Hempy Rotation

Good day everyone!

After an extended absence from the forums, I would like to contribute to our community.

I have been using the hempy method for a few years and I do like it, although I did get better yields with aero and bubble buckets. Hempy however, in these extremely hot temps, have far fewer problems. In fact All the problems I have had were caused by myself.

I have two rooms, one for vegging and one for flowering.

My veg room:
Cuttings Clones Bigger clones


Under CFLs for vegging Six weeks later


Moved to flower Two weeks to go


Only a few days left Right side


Left side Home made Mylar panels

I was in a hurry to go see my beautiful girl friend this morning, so I will try to describe the pics above.

The top three are #1 new cuttings, #2 Cuttings which are now clones, #3 full blown clones.

The second row are clones which I have moved from the T5, to the CFLs. #1 freshly moved into veg stage, #2 about two weeks under the CFLs, #3 ready to flower after vegging for six weeks.

The third forth and last rows are flowering, showing the progression through flowering.

I use General Hydroponics.

The nute formulas I am using now.

Vegging:
7.5 ml Gro
5 ml Micro
2.5 ml Bloom
5 ml Flora Nectar sweetener (you choose the flavor)

Flowering:
7.5 ml Bloom
5 ml Micro
2.5 ml Gro
5 ml Cal-Mag
10 ml Flora Nectar
10 ml Kool Bloom

I PH everything to 5.8

I water my clones every day, and everything else every other day. The flowering plants get just over 1/2 gal every other day.

I forgot to include my transition to bloom formula.

its 2.5 ml of gro, micro, bloom, and 5 ml flora nova.

Today all I have to do is water my clones, and tonight I will place another plant into flower.

In another thread someone said 2000 watts is a little small for them.

Wow bro, are you growing in a warehouse?

This is about all my little house can handle without blowing fuses.

It's also all I can handle, since I am alone in this and I do all the work. I do not enjoy trimming, and soon I will be harvesting a plant every other day. Plus with the cloning, transplanting, watering, trimming, the seemingly never ending battle with insects.... My work load is about as full as I need it to be.

This is not to say I would not love to have a warehouse sized grow room... but since I live in the most red neck, backward ass, inbred, country fuck state in the union, that won't happen any time soon.

I can't wait until I can move to Colorado!

Double right click on the thumbnail a menu will pop up with several options for size and arrangement.

I harvested a plant today, trimmed it up, and hung it up to dry.

Watered all plants tonight.

I will place another plant into flower tomorrow night.

Once I finish getting my two day rotation, or as some might say, perpetual grow full... And I my avg is two oz per plant as a bass line, on an eight week flower schedule... If my math is correct, that's 3 3/4 pounds, which adds up to .9375 pounds per light.

So tell me what you think. Is this a good avg? Keep in consideration My lights are only two 600s and two 400s.

I have so many different strains flowering right now, I don't know which are which or how many there are. I was running low on clones and friends helped me out...thank you friends...so now it's like WTF. But that's cool, the nutes are working well for all my plants at this time.

Hey, I would love your opinion and advice. I've been growing for a while now, nut I can learn something from just about anyone.

I must say...having it say "stranger" above my name is a little disconcerting.

Like I'm the stranger in the neighbor hood who peeks at you from around a tree.

O well, maybe it will change soon.

I forgot to mention this at the beginning when I introduced myself. I was a member of "The Gardens Cure" for ten years, and was a mod for a while.

I learned almos everything I know from there. I had some good friends there but have lost touch.

If anyone is a former member please say hi. I was known as "Them". This kinda explains my avatar. It's Them!

I placed another plant into flower tonight.

The third row of nine plants is starting to fill in.

Great job juggling all those plants and strains. It's something I've always wanted to do, and have tried with results far less than yours.

The hempy buckets make it so easy, I almost feel guilty...almost.

I did however bite the bullet and ordered some AK47 seeds. I think I will stay with this strain for a while.

I like the AK because it's a good producer, and it is a very forgiving strain.

I was growing AK when I was using bubble buckets. With the summer heat we have here, keeping the water temp right was impossible. I've seen the AK strain take a lot of abuse and still produce good buds.

Great producer.
Great high.
Extremely forgiving.
My friends and family love it.
It's great medicine for my chronic back pain.
I like it.

When I was a young tyke and in trouble most of the time...my dad would say, "young man money does not grow on trees"!

After having given this comment careful consideration for several years, I have come to the conclusion...you were wrong dad.

If you have an orange orchard, or an apple orchard etc. your money does in fact grow on trees. BUT!!!

In my case, dad, you were right, money does not grow on trees...IT GROWS ON WEEDS!

The coolest part is since I run my lights at night and most of the growth takes place when the lights are on, I make money while I'm asleep. I like that!
