My 2x2 has gotten out of control.

Hiya folks. Haven't documented any runs in a bit. Decided to try a short veg grow in the 2x2 to stock up the jars before I move in late spring. This is my first time using promix. 4 plants in 1 gallon pots. Vegged for about 2 and a half weeks, and is currently 10 days into 12/12.

The got way bigger, way faster than I thought they would and are in desperate need of a bit of lollipoping. Nobody likes watching veg anyway so I figured I'd take you along for what promises to be an overcrowded and entertaining flowering.

Promix
Jacks
HLG QB 288 v2 3000k @135 watts
Orkle by IHG (purple urkle x Tahoe OG)

Follow along if you like.

As of today......

I'm running the exact same thing at the same time..mine are 3 jack 47 and 1 26 cookies. Just over a week of flower, I topped 3 times and lollipopped yesterday. It's a little side experiment, I want to see the results from led compared to CMH.
Nice. 3 of mine where topped once, and 1 was not topped at all. Other than that seems pretty similar. I'll be doing a bit of lollipop work when the lights come on today.

After cleaning up the under side of the ladies and putting them back in the tent i may be forced to admit they may need for light pruning. I am normally not a fan of removing healthy foliage unless it is completely shielded from the light, but I think I'm going to have issues with airflow. May have to take the fiskars to the canopy.

This will be my last photo dump update for a week or 2 as I will be otherwise occupied. Did some light pruning to get rid of overlapping leaves and leaves that were completely hidden under the canopy. Still really bushy but airflow is good and thats all I care about. The stretch has been moderate.
For anyone who may care here are some info about whats driving the space.
Current feed levels: 850 to 900 ppm
Current ppfd: 650
Temps: 80 to 82 f lights on, 72 to 74 f lights off
RH: 55%
Requires feeding twice daily. Water to light runoff.

how are you liking promix, what did you switch from?
I love it so far. The first couple weeks were a learning curve, but now that I have gotten the feel for it the plants are happy as hell.

Most of my grows recently (last 4 or 5 years) have been some variety of amended organic or organic-ish soil. Everything from straight ffof out of the bag to stuff i built and composted from scratch. Before that I was super into dwc and rdwc.

Promix seems to really hit the best of both worlds. High growth rates and quick response to inputs like dwc, but with some of the ease of use and buffering traits of soil.

Can't hate on the bag seed! One of the most beautiful plants I've grown was from some unidentified weed I bought in Vancouver in the early 2000s. Smelled very fruity and tasted like a candied flower. Should have cloned it.

yea , coco is alright.
If you've run coco you'll have a really easy transition to promix. Especially the PM HP. The only major difference I've noticed is that promix seems to like a more pronounced wet/dry cycle. I was always told never to let coco dry out completely to avoid salt build up, but promix doesn't seem to like to be constantly wet. I let the pots get really light before watering and then water to a bit of runoff.

sweet that is perfect , keep the coco wet all the time is a pain in the ass, that's why i dropped it honestly too much maintenance
