my 6x8 shed first time indoor scrog official thread

Whats up with this screen thing y'all are talking about? Is it keeping the plant down so it grows out, like a bush? I don't understand.. Maybe I should go back a few pages? Anyway, I have a million questions, like, 100 grams per plant, for real? And, is this similar to the sea of green method, where you pretty much just grow tops? Also, here are pics of my garden, would a screen be usable here, the way I have it set up? 100 gr per plant is a little more than I was getting (about 70-85), and I wouldnt mind it!

Taken from "A Multi-Shelf Garden Setup -or- What the Heck is a Trellis?", by pH... "The purpose of the netting is to get all growing tips that will be used for buds to grow at the same height relative to the lights, and it accomplishes this task superbly." ...Nuff said... Makes total sense now, so this is what they mean by 'sea of green', I guess? I mean, you make all the nodes at an even level, and they all are right there about 18 inches from the light (sweet spot!!), evenly spaced... Instead of one 5 inches higher than the other, and the lower ones obscured by ones on top, etc. Yeah, it makes total sense.. Can you apply something like this to bigger plants, though? Lets say you had 5 gallon pots with plants that were, oh, around 36" tall, give or take a little... Could you fabricate a screen to go above the plants at that height to level off the tops and surrounding nugs? I mean, is that even something someone would want to try, or are their easier ways to distribute light amongst taller plants... Sorry for my utter ignorance on the issue, there is just so MUCH to learn!!

You could just elevate the shorter plants so they are all even.

Sorry Pickle, didnt mean to confuse you.. I was just thinking that SCROG method is the net thing, right? Keeping the plants under the net so all the buds are at an equal distance from the light? Anyway, I was just wondering if you could apply the same principle to full grown plants somehow... Also, I quoted all that crap cause it was from the link you sent me.. Also, are you any relation to Pickles the drummer, from Dethclock (

its day 28 i guess its time what do u think. its 2:30 right now so should i let flower there supposed to wake right now normally or should i start lettin em sleep in? i think im gunna let em sleep in.will they grow veg like for a few days still, if i flower now?also im only in 3 gallon pots i dont want them to outgrow the pots if thats possible

looks good man. Looks like you still have some empty holes though. Shouldn;t you try to fill every hole before you flower?

Just curious how u water em? do u have to remove the screen and take em all out one by one to water em? or do u have some sort of drip thing set up that u turn on when u want em watered?

i reach under with a pitcher. its a bitch, im gonna make a funnel thingamajig soon. and ive heard all holes should be taken but its gettin dense and think it will still spread for at least a couple more days wont it?
