My disfunctional flowering room

I will rather unfollow a thread than watch somebody not care to fix issues they KNOW they have. Disgusting, cheerio.
Oh, are u referring to the light leaks?! i wouldnt even consider them light leaks...jeez...........Ive got alot of other serious issues that need to be addressed, and when thats on track, i can worry about making it perfect, so toodaloo (im such a dad)

Their starting to look a little better now that ive up the feeding.
The one i moved into the sunroom still doesnt seem to be doing much tho. I think i moved it out there on the 11th. Failing this PM battle. Been spraying/drenching every 5 days. defoliating everyday, running out of leaves to pluck.

Ok so what do you consider a leak. I personally tape up any leds display lights on dehumidifier. Ac. Power strips ec. Got tell ya in
I saw the wierd plant with the flat tops as you called it and I knew instantly you had leaks or wire schedule.

Keep it 12/12. There is no replicating the noon because te noon I reflective light and changes on a daily basis. Outdoor plants(all of plants) including humans haves natural circadian rhythm. The sun. Moon maybe even farther out astrological events are all in natural rhythm. Best advice I can give ya is kiss. Keep it stupid simple. No gas lantern. Seal your rooms properly. Ventilate properly( ad you properly wouldn't have mold either) give em love and what they need and nothing more.

let me verify I am a noob. I didn't think light leaks were that bad. But if your covering up led lights on the ac and such, then holy shit, I got some serious leaks.

I'm not sure how to block out the light coming through the ducting

First you say you're a noob, then you tell everyone giving you advice how they're wrong.

They're your plants, grow them how you want. Maybe when you're tired of fucking them up all the time you'll be ready to listen to sound advice.

Dad. Lol

I've noticed I do that alot. I'm so noob I can't even recognize help. Sorry your taking it the wrong way. Am I really that big of a dick? Just trying to get this grow under control. Thanks for your input.

First, no light means no light in the dark cycle. If you can see anything, it's too much light.

Second, you've offered no numbers for analysis. You've no idea how strong your nutrient mix is, what your pH is, not even how much/often you water.

Third, some pics of your setup would be useful. You've said zero about what kind of light sources you're running, how much or how they're situated.

Pics of the plants is a start, but without hard data- read quantifiable- no one can give you more than an educated guess, and I got no time for that.

BTW, it's spelled 'dysfunctional'.

Wow thats kinda a pretentious asshole thing to say to someone asking for help fixing his grow. Isnt that what rius for? Helping people?

Anyway op, thats the problem with a perpetual grow. If something, anything starts to get out of control yoir pretty much fucked. Late stage bananas, fucked, bugs, fucked, mold, fucked, mildew....and on and on. Ive tried but failed perpetual a couple times. I just end up saying screw it and flowering everything just incase theres problems.
For the pm, ive used bakeing soda 1tsp mixed with one spray bottle of water in VEG. ive never used it in flower and dont know if i would but if your real careful and just spray the leaves you might be fine. Also, yeah like 666 said, pull off the badly infected pm leaves and get them out of the room. And make sure that your fans are not blowing in the direction of the pm infected plants to the non infected ones. Thrips die real quick when you use monteray....something, shit i cant remember...house and garden maybe? Works like a charm and its cheap. Anyway, good luck and dont get discouraged man. The more you work on it the better the results will be.

Thanks you
God...im a moron...thats all i can say. Ive got a fan blowing directly on the worst infected pm plant. I thought someone said drench it with fungucide, then put a fan directly on it so no new mold grows or some something of that nature...:wall:
And that monteray stuff does work awsome. I have some, but have been spraying fungucide for the past month or so, and the thrips popped up out of no where about two weeks ago and they are really here. I just got done spraying the veg and one plant in flower with it about an hour ago. hopefully that will help. its very overwhelming. just when i think everything is going right, everything starts going wrong...Ive got two plants in veg that are taking a turn south. Im going to repot them in 15 gal pots tonight and cross my fingers.

Ya, i work very hard to make sure the bug and environmental problems are taken care of before flower starts. And i clean my flower room well before i fill it up again with plants. I jist had a grow that everything as far as bugs goes went wrong, gnats, mites, broad mites, thrips, and thats it, nope, caterpillers eating the leaves that showed up outta the blue. I bitchslapped all that shit cause i worked my ass off to win. Mold is a biggie though, and pm. Unfortunatly its one of those things that can make you have to chop a whole crop if it gets bad. Keep humidity down, make sure air is flowing, and treat the plants before it becomes a problem if you know its happening.

Lmao...wow... I cease to amaze myself

Ok im going to try my best and fix any light leaks, tonight.

Started out light feeding for the first 7-8 weeks. Half tbs ff tiger bloom, half tbs calmag, 1 tbs ff big bloom per gal. 15 gal pots. I usually water them 2 gallons every two days, or 1 gallon every day.
Now ive been full feeding for the past 2 weeks, 1tbs of bloom, clamag, per gallon and two tbs big bloom per gal. i try to get ph around 6.5
Four 1000 watt lights 8" air cooled tubes. trying to do one plant per light in a 10x10x8h. Temps about 50 at night and 70 in the day. Rh was around 50, but since i spotted pm, ive manages to get it in the 20's.

Thats the dilemma im in. Ive got one plant thats obviously not done, but pm like crazy. Ive plucked most leaves and have been spraying it. Idk when its time to say, ok pm wins, time to chop

Since then, ive noticed two more of the flowering plants are doing the same thing and getting flat tops. Ive up the feeding, and dialed down three of the four ballast to 75%.
Im beginning to think im over watering?
So now, four of the six plants flowering look to have flat tops. Only two look ok, but its because they are the two most recent plants i moved in there.

The only light leaks that occur are when the veg room is on, and there really not that bad.
I just read an article about the gas lantern technique which was very interesting, never heard of it before. And it talks about starting your flowering at 11/13, then gradually moving it down to like 8/16 near harvest. Im tempted to try 11/13, that would save quit a bit of juice. Im not brave enough to try the lantern tech tho. Probably not a good idea with lots of different strains goin too..
Light leaks suck! I learned the hard way. I grew the same strain out 3 times no complaints what so ever. I got lazy on fourth and started entering my room in the middle of lights out with a small t8 florescent pretty much daily for the first 6 weeks or so of flower, MAJOR mistake! The clones I had going never filled out like they did in the previous 3 grows, and the buzz was not as good. I ended up with half the yield I usually get, Light Leaks Suck?
