Update:

Time to put the rest of this thing together! So I finished drilling holes in the last cover and attached the fan. Mounted the 3 heatsinks to the aluminum angle and put on the cobs. I had just enough thermal compound left over from when I built my current computer. Now I'm going to spend a good chunk of the evening playing with wires.;)

I've got the first connection done! This is going to take a while but I've got the whole weekend. The wire length is a little longer than I'd like but this is something I don't have much experience with. The rest of the connections should get better as I go.

This is as far as I'm getting tonight. I ran out of heat shrink of a certain size. Gonna make a run to the hardware store tomorrow. So I got up to the 2nd row of COBs. I cut the rest of the wires to there desired length. I had bought the 12" picco ezmate and that was way longer than I needed. I just wanted to be safe instead of sorry. I also got the wrong wire size on the ezmates. The leads are like 28awg, way to small. So I had to splice onto a bigger wire.

I believe there's 3 wire size for eezmate.
Do you mean that's better to buy the bigger size?

It depends on how you plan to connect the wire ends. If I wanted a permanent connection I probably wouldn't have needed the bigger wire.

So, I got everything ready for the first boot up. Tried the fans first and they are all working. Went to plug in the lights and...nothing.:confused::neutral:
Now I've gotta go looking for a loose connection. I had to repair 2 wires that broke when I was flipping it over. This thing is a bit heavy. Hopefully
I can't get the lights on by the end of the night.

I'm going to do a bit more testing before I go and order the different picco ezmate size. I'm so butt hurt that the lights didn't turn on when I plugged them the first time.

Pretty bad ass build bro, I cant imagine what the future holds for you being that this is your first one....space ships maybe haha. I wish I had access to the tools you do!!! Im still building my first fixture, just about done, working the cooling and dimming out...then I have 3 more half way built lol....Is it me of does building these get addictive and costly lol

To be sure...if I remember well there's 3 pico eeze size...did you purchase the smaller? Which one are you going to buy? Medium or big one?
What they make the small one for? Vero10 @250mA???

I have a V29 running on the smallest/shortest EzMate.....I would say the problem lies elsewhere...The 28 Gauge is still safe up to 300 volts or so, highly doubt that is the issue....

Have you troubleshot all your connections?, any loose, wiggly or not touching but not visible?
alsocan't remember if you have a multimeter or not @SSJGemini....can you check the driver output?

Fuse connection is worth checking too....pushed in all the way or attached?
