Day 10: couple changes, changed to res today added a tiny bit of nutes today. I used an 8-7-6 real small amount to the water todayand then balenced ph. I kept reading and I think my water level was to high so I used about half gallon less shook out the rockwool and then re -sprayed it with frsh water and brought it up more in the cup. I will have to make a cover to make sure roots are coverd when she sprouts but the new seedling looks to be doing well opend the hole up a little bit because I think I put the seed to low. uggghhhh there is so much trial and era in this till you get it right. So far I have found the rockwool to be more difficult to work with. So, I started a new seed got her germinated and put her in starer soil. I probably won't keep her as I am limited to how many plants I can have and I want to make clones. So she will go to my boy that I made the mini micro setup for. When she sprouts I will keep her till her third nood and then transplant her for him in just hydroton and a 3" cup. till tommrow.

dude, in my opinion your homemade hydro pots need to be alot more 'netty'.
Ya me too I might have to order some off the net. drove down to my hrdro store and they were all out of the ones I wanted. So I just started making cups. I did a little experiment with some bage seed and just perlite. I had a regular pot with 3 small drain holes. Left water in the catch basin and the roots went right through one on the holes and sat in the water. those roots will find a way to get to the water. So for now she hasen't even come close to being long enough to worry plus the water is a 1/4 of the way up the cup.

Thanks man for tuning in that 4" fan seems like it will be good once i get the outside temp of the room correct. I have it on a 3 season porch right now so when its like 70 out side my box is 8 to 10 degres hotter. but for the fan it's alittle more noisey than I want it. but probably they all r. Wish they made a wisper fan and silent motor. Just for stealth reasons.
That pump is quite and seems to be doing ok. it pumps up to 30 gallon tank. I did see on here a round stone that I liked ut might use that when I start my new one but for now things r good.

thanks man that thing looks great.

day:11 not to much to talk about. balenced ph and 3 more seeds poped so they went into cups of starter soil. The one in the rockwool did pop out and is looking good with a deep green to her. I am affraid that this plant will take over snow white as she has taken so long to grow and almost died twice.but she is looking perky. When I change the res tommrow i will be going back to 2 gallons to make sure her roots r getting feed.

Day 12: changed the res gonna go with no nutes for a little while snow white looks lime green not that deep green that we like to see. I thik she has absorbed as much as she can. so no nutes for awhile til I see a change in her. The seedling in the rockwool popped out like I mentioned but her roots did a funny thing I dont' know if the rockwool was not wet enough at the bottom but her roots did a u turn and strted heading ack out of the rockwool so I coverd the roots and hope fully they will take to the RW. One of the seedlings came out of the soil while I was sleeping last night. I sprayed her before I left and again when I came home from work. she is so tiny. I put holes in the ottom of the plastic cups to drian the water of the new seeds I planted. Tiny and the other three seedlings will e headed to my friends house bery soon as soon as they sprout.

If anybody is reading this that has some hydro nute experience please help. i only have some house hold plant food MG that is 8-7-6 I only used a little in the last res. Should I not be using this because the plant will continue to suck up the nutes? Should I only using hydro nutes? please I need some help with this.

Day13: balenced the ph. Took the seedling out of the rockwool didn't like the root problem so I pulled her out and put her in some starting soil till she gets bigger. One of the other seedlings came through the soil but the others didn't. I was dumb and didn't put holes in the bottom of the cup till yesterday so there was way to much water in the cup. spread the soil out found the seedling squeezed out the water and put the seedling back near the top. should be all set in couple days. I will beading back to the hydro store soon to get some nutes so I don't have to worrie about over feeding them again. till tommrow.

Day 13 continue...: Well I mad a few major changes couldn't sleep after I took care of the plants so come 900 i'm off to the hydro store bought some hydro nutes so I don't have to fuck around with that other shit. bought a good ph tester to make sure
I get the ph right, also got some 4" net cups which fit in the holes I already cut. Snow white is looking a real pale pale green so I did add 1/8th of a teaspoon of maxi gro to 1.5 gallons of water. I moved the bublerstone also so it's right underneath her cup. If she survives this transplant I will b amazed. I did takea ph reading of my water before I changed it again and it was too low so that might of been a factor. I really suggest buying all the right stuff before you begin to avoid headaches.grrrr
I feel much better about everything I am going to change my light soon. I have 2 42watt 150 cfl's and a 20 watt in the cab. will be chaging to 6 20 watters and 3 smaller ones. having heat trouble plus I really want more light to veg. here r some pics of what I picked up... Thanks all for tunning in.
