My first grow...

OK, I had a grow journal going on another site, but I didnt like it much. So Ill try here.
My setup is pretty simple but unique in its own way.

I started this grow on 7/31.

3 75 watt flo grow tubes
1 75 watt halogen grow light(in ceiling socket to heat the room)
organic soil
Miracle grow time release nute
Miracle grow water soluble nute
springwater
oscillating fan
3 plants


I am on day 18 of growth (including germ time). If my babies all live I plan on starting to flower at 8 inches or 2-3 weeks from today. This is ALL for my personal use only. I dont desire to make a high tek grow room, I dont desire massive yields, and Im not gonna spend thousands on equipment. This is an experiment to see if Im successful, as Im tired of shady deals, tracking down my guy, and running out. If I succeed here , Ill continue and upgrade as I see fit. I WELCOME ALL advice and comments,and encourage it. Ive read just about everything you can read, watched hours of grow vids. before I started. Im an excellent "legal" gardener so I think Ill be ok with this, but again,not sure. Ive smoked for years but have never grown, or even seen a plant except my own and in pictures. I do have some questions, and I would love comments on how Im doing.

- At what point will my plants begin to give off fragrence?

- should I foliar feed with miracle grow water soluble and seltzer water? And if yes when should I start?

- I know its impossible to tell, Im only really looking for guesses on how much I will yield for the purposes of starting a new plant. Again, only for my own use.

prob shouldn't want to use time release.

Looking good so far.

Why not time release? Its the shake and feed. I have the water soluble too. What do you suggest?

also, if the plants all turn out to be male, can it be smoked? It has to be better than the shwag Im used too.

if the plant turns out male you can make hash.

maybe its just the soil with time release i hear bad things about i dont know :-\

Day 19 of grow. The two plants off to the left are considerably smaller than the biggest plant althought they all germinated and were planted at the same time? Also on just a few of the leaves on the biggest plant I have yellow spots, I beleive this is due to overwatering like a donkey. Soil really wet, gonna let them dry out four four or five days. Hey, can someone answer all my questions?

I wouldn't use the time release stuff. May burn or not give enough. Stick to liquid nutes and mix with water. Keep the soil moist not wet. The yd o look good though.

Looking good for day 19, keep it up, but i would get rid of that Tin Foil.. causes heat spots & could burn the leaves..

I heard the dull side was ok? No,not ok? Im working with little light. Will it harm them if I take it down now?

all is well on day 20.

So far so good. Getting bushier on the biggest plant. New branches and leaves forming all over the place.

day 22... new branches and leaves forming on main stem. The top leaf of the big plant seems to be splitting in two? Is that a new branch? Still o dor, when ca I expect to smell them?

still no odor

i heard most strains wont give off odor until they are put into flower, some do, some dont

Day 23..

Greeted with that woderful aroma this morning. Plants looking good to me. Soil has been drying out faster lately?
