You and me babe :) I like my fries well done :) @TripleMindedGee5150 (more than twice dipped, LOL crunchy oily, salty goodness), they are wonderful. Best of all Bravery Brewing here doesn't serve food so you get your in n out and head to Bravery for a brew.

Come visit .....

That Tavern you found us with the train and the wheel was fabulous! I had so much fun meeting you! Next time bring your kids :) (as I will now, generically, refer to your wife and child hahahaaaaaaaaaa).
Yup! I'll take the fries, loaded potato skins and anything else on offer.

I actually go to an American Diner out here for the chocolate milkshakes and sometimes the burgers.

Had two chicken burgers yesterday!! I'm doing well. Still need to do the Xmas shop! :)

Right on. To each his own then- you're the first I've heard feel the way you do but I respect that my brotha. I always think of Chicago mexican as fairly bland like most Midwest foods and heavy with sour cream (gringos- Mexicans use queso fresco or crema which isn't like sour cream at all). I abhor tex mex with a passion and see a lot of it here in tx... But my brother lives in wrigleyville for the last decade and I visit a few times a year. Haven't had any decent mexican like I said up there but the places I've been for other grub are good as hell
u lead me to beleave that... cuzz I know what kind of people live in Wrigleyville.. the kind of people too shook to go to the hood and get some authentic mexi food

Yup. Wrigleyville can suck my ...

You're all bastards. Burger eating bastards.
Basically out here in the west of Ireland fast food comes from petrol stations. There are kebaberies, burgeries and other eateries, but basically it all comes down to the jumbo breakfast roll....

Biggest selling song of 2006. When Ireland was in the midst of its Golden Age...

C'mon bro, how hard is it to make a burger? We're American's, we're lazy and we make great fucking burgers, cuz it's easy.
Think ahead, prep your stackers and bun, cook up ground meat patties; then stack in the bun. Easy peasey

Actually, after reading this thread the other night, I got up, skipped breakfast and went to the supermarket.
I bought steak mince, red onion, wholemeal buns and 4 bottles of wheat beer.
Bowl, mince, egg, salt, pepper. Patties, oven (I know, weird huh?).
Roll, butter, salad, horseradish, mustard mayo.

Awesome.

Would be nice to get someone to do it for me once in a while though.

It is hard to believe that McDonalds can coexist with In-N-Out.

I keep waiting for the "toastie" to make it big here. I predict it will. In a year, every Starbucks will be selling grilled cheeses with a slice of ham. Perfect drunk or stoned food.

I think we need more late night kebabs too but it is not likely in the current atmosphere. Many a late night in Amsterdam was ameliorated by late night middle-eastern food.

^^^^Oh yeah! It's great home made , but fantastic if a good one is given to you :)

I'll hafta ask my wife. She's the sort who will walk in with a sandwich that she just made. I'll look at it and ask if she just made it. She'll answer "mm-hmm" while munching on it. I'll mention that I would have liked one. She'll innocently say "sorry". But a minute later she'll let me have a bite - a guilt bite. Still, guilt bites taste pretty good.
