So this is my first post on here, been a member for a bit but i just like to read mostly. I owe most of my knowledge to Jorge Cervantes for with out his Grower's Bible I never woulda given this a shot and I'd like to say thanks to rollitup and its members for giving me such an amazing amount of information! So let me begin this thing...
Seeds: Greenhouse green-o-matic autoflower (ordered from attitude)
Soil: Fox Farm's Ocean forest
Nutes: FF's big bloom and molasses
Lighting: Veg-two 55 watt cfl's, 20/4 light cycle Flowering-400 watt HPS 18/6 light cycle
Air: 1 desk fan, and a 2 foot tower fan
I went all organic for this grow cause my first ending up getting bad nute burn, and dry harsh buds.
This is two days after germ lights 20/4
Day 17 - I put the wrong kind of cfl too close a few days earlier which slightly burnt the top two layers of leaves, thankfully it didn't mess em up.
Day 20 - Just after transplanting into gallon pots, the next day i switched the lights over to the 400watt HPS and a 18/6 lighting schedule
Day 24 - They already had pistol and calyx growth at this point. the walls are covered by a pieces of a safety blanket and the bowl is apple cider vinegar to catch some flies i feared had migrated in -this trick works great.
Day 29 - This was the first day i feed them nutes fox farms big bloom. I wish i knew at the time but i should have been giving them less than the recommended amount on the bottle, these babies needed way less than i gave.
Day 37 - More and bigger calyxes everyday!
Day 42 & Day 45 flower shot
Day 50 - you can easily see back two plants yellowing fan leaves, i believe now that it was due to too much nutes, and also that being in those black plastic trays the plants absorbed back in all the water that drained out during waterings...if i am totally wrong and anyone knows please let me know!! At this point i am flushing till harvest so no more nutes!
Day 56 - shots of the buds
Day 64 - This is the front plant from the pictures on harvest day, the trichs where all cloudy and i could see amber ones so after 36 hours dark was harvest!
Day 67 - Harvest day for the other two, these babies got 36 hours dark before harv too, the cardboard box worked at keeping the right drying temps and humidity, which you GOTTA keep track of with a meter, and that's hemp string for the hanging lines
Day 70 - The jars are the first plant now in the curing process and the bag is the other two, they will be going into jars when they are ready. I will post a dry weight total and smoke report when they are done curing, or at least till they have cured enough so i can try a taste. So there you go green-o-matics for my second grow and i am definitely pleased! So please leave (nice) comments or CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, sorry for all the pics and huge post too...
P.S. here is a pic (should i write pic heavy in the title next time?) of my next project which i am hoping to keep an up to date journal about - that big girl is DNA seeds sour cream, the smaller is greenhouse lemon skunk, and the cups are greenhouse cheese and el nino....i'm excited, are you??
