My lights too far away?

I posted a pic..i got 12 clones under 24/0. 2 600w mh they are juat starting to take root and grow u can see the distance in the pic....to far? Just right? 20190621_135948_HDR.jpg

They look pretty happy so far.

If you start to see the distance between nodes increasing, and the plant is putting more energy into building stem than new nodes and leaves, you’re probably too far away.

Just to be safe and ease my mind i dropped the lights 12" im at about 24" from the top of the tallest clone

When I say a little higher, I mean like 2 inches higher so no big deal one way or another. Put your hand at the top of your plants for a minute. If your hand gets hot raise your lights till they no longer get hot, then raise them just a tad bit more.
