To tone down the noise, you could cover the inside of the dresser with Dyna-mat. It's the stuff they use to quiet down car interiors. Also, it's a reflective silver.

I will look into it. Thanks for the input!

Anyone have any idea if they think this setup will be efficient in terms of temperature.. Ambient usually stays about 70-75, im hoping to keep it under 78 degrees, I bet its doubtful though.

I have a lot of CFM pushing though.

No problem bud. I'm surprised no one really uses it in there stealth cabs. As I mentioned, it cuts down on the noises you can hear from the outside, AND it has a reflective finish. There's lots of different brands too. Much cheaper to buy than Dynamat. Look on Ebay motors. Just type in sound deadener.

I would think dynamats one big drawback would be heat. I think you would have a harder time keeping it cool in the box using it. Not 100% sure on that but my 2 cents.

I am also in the process of building one also. (battery for drill is charging so im on here right now). I never thought of the dynamat. Good idea. I was gonna use white paint I can get from my work. I am trying to get as many things for free from there as possible. But I like the dynamat idea!

Thought I'd also add this

Temps:
Ambient~ 75* F
Inside ~ 82* F (will be lower soon, ambient will be lower)
Humidity ~ 32% (will be adding a sponge to raise humidity tonight)

Also, if anyone else knows any ideas for other fans. I will be looking more into other fans before purchasing, would like to purchase ASAP.

Not to seem to shoot ya' down. But I built a similar converted chest of drawers from a Value Village ($25) that was far less compicated and easier to convert than what it looks like you've done. A small PC fan alone mounter in a tiny sound deadened enclosure shaddow box at the top back corner was all I needed for ventilation. And because the chest's drawer style wasn't flush fit, I simply mounted the drawer fronts to a solid piece of finish plywood stained to match that fit the frame openening perfectly with 1/4'' X 1/2" trim strips as backing stops around the opening that also helped block any light leaks. No complicating hinges that can be much harder to make work and fit right (used to work at a cabinet shop and know how hard this can be), but merely stealth modified the two relatively large wooden drawer knobs on the center drawerfront as operating twist latches with a metal latch tangs off a kit available at a builder's supply. And odors were kept in check with 3 small ion generators strategically placed around the bedroom with no one the wiser. It's smart to use converted bedroom furniture because that perhaps the last place any guest is likely to roam in your house or apartment.

As an old design engineer once told me regarding overworked design approaches. "K.I.S.S." (Keep It Simple, Stupid!) Costs less and is much easier to build. And provides less hassles overall in the future.

Well thanks for the input, I am not a wood worker nor do I have any interest in it, so I went with my own ideas. I have never grown stealth so my ideas come from more large scale growing. Carbon filter is my requirement as it should eliminate the smell at the source.

I also needed to extend the back panel the extra length due to my large light, so all the extra stuff for ventilation, not a big deal.

Not fully satisfied with my setup, but I can almost guarantee no smell during flowering, no light leaks.. now to take care of the noise from the stupid axial fan.

Temps are down to 75-80* F
Humidity is ranging between 39-48% perfect IMO.
(That is without running the axial at all, turned the fan speed down)

the box is not silent unfortunately. but you almost cannot hear it at all. you have to listen for it.

Put radio on top for 24/7. Did you put something inside? Show us the cab and setup finally. We need to see

I have 4 ladies. They got really stressed and put in crappy conditions waiting for the box to be finished. Ready to flash into flower whenever the time is right. I will get pics soon

I would just say, since you running that 4 inch fan and filter in your box which is not that big an area....i would reccomend that you do not use an intake fan and rather leave it passive. Just light trap it so there are no light leaks.
Since the fan you put in there is overpower for the space, no point in using the axial fan as it will only cause pressure in the box and affect both fans. i'm sure with a speed controller you can dial it in nice for the actual size of the box and eliminate as much noise as possible.
