Distilled water is the worst you can use to grow with
I agree, causes osmotic pressure from lack of ions and pretty much sucks nutrients out of the plant/jacks up water content of plant too much.

You are using Foxfarm nutes growing in coco, using distilled water ALL of which is wrong. I see no indication in your pics of a PH problem

coco is a very different way of growing than soil it is more like doin hydro and not the best way for a new grower to start out

What causes you to say this?

Ive got 4 plants using Distilled only from Meijer with no problems. Almost all my 1gals come around 6.5ph which is perfect to start with or direct feed just like that. Obviously i need to suppplement cal and mag but thats no biggy.

I have not checked PH in a long time, prolly look at it once or twice a year
Me either. Inaccuracy scared me to death and was takin all the fun out of it. Luckily, I learned that if your source water is in range, and your careful about what you throw at it, you dont need any of that shit.

Get a soil ph tester homedepot sells them for 10$
I would not count on the accuracy of a small sample taken from the top of a container to tell me whats going on in the root zone. I am a farmer and understand soil testing very well. Get some worm castings, dolomite lime and a wetting agent in your mix and never worry about pH again...

Controlling pH in soil is something best left up to the plant and by using a balanced nutrient mix, but there's nothing wrong with measuring the pH of soil in a container to get an "indication".

http://www.extension.uidaho.edu/nursery/Landscape problems/Substrate/Measuring pH and CEC.PDF

Or google Virginia Tech Extraction Method PourThru

Same goes for EC, although if there are problems it's usually the same thing, too many nutrients, causing too low ph. That's where trying to control the pH often results in only more problems, and not just on soil, even on hydro I control pH with nutes...
