When the nutrients burn the roots which often leads to leaves being deformed or looking burned. Some soils start off with too many nutrients (hot) for some strains, which is why seed starter soil is often recommended for seedlings..whats a nute burn??
ohhh ok! So what would yu recommend i do ?When the nutrients burn the roots which often leads to leaves being deformed or looking burned. Some soils start off with too many nutrients (hot) for some strains, which is why seed starter soil is often recommended for seedlings..
I think it may be too late for the stick, that looks like a pretty bad nutrient deficiency combined with an under watering problem.
alright ill try that too. ive seen pics and the stems were long too but mine is trying to strech to the light sorce. thanksI think the damage would be worse if the soil was to hot. I noticed a little hole in the leaves and the plant looks like its stretching toward the light source. Try adding more soil around the stem (up to the cotyledon) , but leave the last 1-2 inches on the dry side just in case you got some bugs.
Depends on what soil you are using?ohhh ok! So what would yu recommend i do ?
I wouldn't completely rule out nut burn, but yeah I'm thinking the light. I'm sure we'd be a lot more helpful if we knew more about your setup (e.g. soil, lights, strain, etc). Its good your keeping an eye on your plant. Keep it up. I'm sure it will bounce right back.
yeah im using miracle grow -__- urgh . what soil works the best??Depends on what soil you are using?
Diagnosing plants is like checking things off a list For instance if you are using seed starter soil or soil from the backyard you can check off nute burn. If you're using miracle grow or fox farms nute burn could be a likely candidate.
Things I would check in this instance would be:
Soil
Light/heat
PH of water (or high chlorine)
If it's a nute problem, then I think the root system would be small enough to transplant it in some seed starter soil mixed with some perilite. Just be careful it's ok if you can't get all the soil off the roots "try for most", main thing would be just getting it in new soil.
im using 2 100 watts right now .what kind of lights are u using? cfl maybe?we need more info on ur setup.
is 2 100 watts fine? or do i need more ? and ive used tap water once i believe, but other then that i have been using purified water..If your using starting pot mix your soil should be fine. I would lean towards looking at your lighting. Also if you are using tap water let it sit open for 24 hours.
