My second 12/12 from seed with 150w CFL/10,000 lumens(organic-perpetual)

im more interested in advice, critics, etc. Than i am about traffic. I was pretty lost on how to do what i was trying to achiev(singl colas) which only a few turned out single colas. But cupl folks really came thru- those few are the ones i REALLY want regular. I appreciate everyone stoppin by,u know what i mean!

I feel the exact same way, advise is always a plus, and its cool to have regulars to follow the grow with you, I am in the middle of posting pics now, my roomates left early today so I took some pics and they will be up in less than 20min.:leaf:

OMG my bad I got distracted working in the garden, I put a screen over the whole area where the corn will be its raised 2ft off the ground I will grow the corn up through the screen and cucumbers through the screen to keep the corn from blowing over in heavy wind. Some of the plants are on day 19 and some on day 12 or so.
Pics
#1 plant I topped.
#2 Jars that use to be half full of Sour D hash oil.
#5 My 2011 veggie garden.
#7 The FF Big Bloom hasnt got here yet.
#12 roots growing out of bottom. I trimmed these roots.
#14 Is the plant with really fat round leaves.
#15 a shower door over my veggies seeds and flower seeds Im germinating, the shower door is to keep the rain from flooding pots.
#16 is some onion sprouts I will be planting in garden. if they root. Idk I have never grown onions.
#20 last pic, is where my corn will be there are a couple of cucumber seeds planted with the corn. I have put a giant screen up over the corn since I took these pics earlier.

Any questions just ask.

i glass door cover!lol those leaves are soooo fat, that they are almost round bro! Nice! Nice pc of land u got there. Gotta make for a beautiful garden!

Yea man very black rich dirt here I havent tested the soil but I added lime and a 5g bucket of 10-10-10 fertilizer and tilled it up good before I ever made my rows. I am soon ordering jala maize corn that grows to 25ft tall I will grow it up the side of my shed. The plants are growing so dence like they have much more light on them, there has been no stretching at all, which is perfect. I have seen no sign of any bugs at all either so everything is looking good. Oh yea they are starting to stink when I water them and when I tie them down they smell danky even though there just mids, maybe I can make them better than what they were like I did last year with some bagseeds.

Thats cool man.i can see bagseeds being better than the smoke they came from. If the dad was a different strain, now u get some of the dads genitics, right? Thats what made my domina seeds different.was the dad i crossed'em with.i think!lmao. Good job so far brother.

One of the smaller plants smells so strong, like strait skunk for real. Well I only smell it strong when I am watering and brush up against the leaves then the exaust fan blows the smell strait up my nose holes and it is ggrreeaatt. Hope its a girl. This could be a dank plant, a seed I picked up off my floor and decided to germinate because of its shape and color. I only try and germinate fully developed, perfect health seeds, so the plant they produce will be stronger. Its what I believe anyway, if you take a small undeveloped seed and compare it to a large healthy bean it will not produce a strong seedling like the developed larger seed will.

Why are there lower leaves turning yellow and dying. It seems as they grow a node of leaves they lose a node.

Try posting that ? In plant problems,or indoor growing. Just be sure to give all the info u can think of for that lil plant& someone should reply

There growing alittle slow but they seem to be speeding up.

the fourth pic is the plant I fimmed. The FF big bloom is here. Also something I have been thinking about lately is the more grows you complete the faster they seem to go. My last grow seemed like it took forever but this one feels like its moving sooooo much faster

im glad to see u updated! Lookin good. U can see them growing up since they've been tied. The yellowing does look odd for so young. Something causeing that to happen.was wondering, are u using ur tap? Do u have a water softner? Using sodium chlor. For hard water is hard on the plants. This may betotally inncorrect,j not even the situation;just throwing it out there.

Yes they started growing strait back up like 3hr after I tied them down, one of the plants in the bottom that was stressed really bad is now my healthiest, and most beautiful one but it isnt as big as the others. The yellowing in the leaves may be some sort of heat stress because last year I had a prob with temps and my plants did the same thing then too. Your completely right tap water is BAD, the only way to use tap is to boil and let sit out for a few days then PH it. Some city water is full of chlorine and some cities have water with a differant chemical that you cant boil out so I reccommend not using tap water at all. I use distilled water only and my babies seem to like it. I managed to lower my light about 4 in since the lights were like 7 in from the tops of the plants but the plants werent stretching and I was having trouble getting my lights lower because chains are to short but I thought they might have been growing slow because the lights were too far away and I have the lights at about 3in from tops now so ill let you know if they speed up. Other than that everything is looking well there starting to get some size on them now so thats good enough for me.

:lol:They are growing really slow, I guess its the heat but it could be anything, there growing so im not too worried, the stems are getting really thick and the lower growth on the plants is looking better so IDK we'll so how it goes here is some pics, I am not ready to start flower yet, they can still get 4-5 more inches taller because they arent growing tall they are just short and fat. Sorry only 4 pics but I didnt know when roomates were coming back.

They look better and better everyday my largest plant is starting 7th node now the rest of them are on like 5th node. The bottom leaves are still dying off but really that is kinda helping in a way because if the bottom leaves hadnt died the plants would huge fan leaves and they would look alot bigger. The stems are very thick now getting almost 1/4" I still have to veg them longer, like another couple weeks or more again this depends on the size they get too. I just started like 4 new seedlings since my vegg box in the closet only has 1 small plant in it. In the bottom chamber of the safe is my healthiest plant its dark green and has no problems so far, if it stays healthy and yeilds nicely I will clone this one just because of its health and beauty.:leaf:

#4 and #11 pic is the healthy plant Im talking about.
and last pic is the new sprouts

Im Happy with them so far just waiting for them to get mature enough to flower, and I might even throw in like 3 more 26w cfls in the top chamber once they get a couple weeks into flower. Since I will have my lights set from 8pm-8am I will be able to add more CFLs because the temps are lower at night. During the day the lights will be off so it doesnt get super hot in there while there flowering, I will be trying to post up new pics once or twice a week once they start flower in a few weeks.

There definatly not the size they should be but, since I gave them stronger nutes they have started growing again who would a thought they just wanted more food, they might even need more in a few days instead of water they might need more food. The stem is getting really thick on all of them, some of them are lare 7" tall now. I got a new fan blowing on them now so that maybe that will help with the heat from the light beaming on them with no air circulation. I also got some new seedlings going so that when these are done flowering I will have some ready like 2 of the new plants ready to flower while I reveg my largest yeilding plant so it can be cloned. I have decided what i am going to do, I will top, lst, ccob, super crop, fem, or anything else that can be done to keep plants really bushy so I can get like 30 tops between 4 plants in flower and keep the canopy as level as I can and keep the big fan leaves tucked down, and trim all the lower growth so air flow can get under the canopy. I also might stick a bulb or two under the canopy and have already planned on adding 2 more 55w bulbs in there when I start flower.

There looking alot better now than they did in that last set of pics I took, but I think they are getting root bound so there not really growing fast. Im trying to decide whether to start flowering then pull all the males and put them back in veg but idk yet, they are growing still they havent stopped there just going slow but they are getting super thick stems and all have really nice roots. Oh yea I put another 26w in the bottom chamber.

I finally realize why people hate on MG potting soil BECAUSE IT SUCKS, I have had deficiencies, and every other kind of problem known to man with this soil. I will never use it again, I just transplanted all of my babies and man were they rootbound. I swear they had the roots of a full grown plant in there I couldnt even see any dirt. I transplanted them into the same cups they were in I just made the cups about 4" taller than they were so they 4" of empty space for the roots to start growing in. I hope this speeds them up, they were so rootbound some of the main roots wrapped around the cup like 15 times over lapping other roots each time, I guess this explains why there so small to be almost 2 months old. The 4 seedlings you saw in the last set of pics I posted were bad genetics and wilted down and died, then again it could have been the Dumb fn soil. I dont understand why my plants went rootbound in party cups when everyone else has plants in party cups that are over 2ft tall. Oh yea the reason I transplanted into the same cup is because I dont have room for wider cups with 7 plants in there, now when I start flower and I get rid of the males I will transplant them into bigger pots even though I hate to transplant them during flower because of the stress, but I think when I transplant during flower I will use some superthrive to help with the stress of the transplant but other than that wish me luck.
