My Second grow but first journal

Hello every one. This is my first journal post but my second grow ever. I am proud with my first grow i was able to yield 645 dried product from a 4x4x7 grow tent with a 1000w mhl(veg)/hps(flower stages). I've had some mistakes along the way with my first but i will save that for another post so I digress. Below is the info on my grow room set up.

I'm in the nor-cal area so summer temps are 90-110 F and winter is 30-60 F.
-4x4x7 grow tent
-1000w mhl lamp during veg and 1000w hps lamp during flower stage. Both lamps already have 2 grows on them.
-In line 400cfm exhaust mounted to a idk what size carbon filter blowing air from inside out through the lamp reflector to outside of tent.
-I have several smaller fans that I use as appropriate to the heat.
-I Try to keep the babies between 70-80 F
-During flowering stage I try to get a 10 degree F difference with night and day cycle.
-last grow i did 18/6 veg and 12/12 light cycle during flower
-THIS grow I'm trying 24hr veg and 12/12 flower

Nutes:
I tried advanced nutrients and although the price is very steep I cant argue with the results. If a dumby like me can yield .645 GPW(grams per watt) for his first grow then It definitely works. I don't follow their feeding plan so much. Its okay because i think i do a great job at listening to what my plants need and I give them appropriate attention every day.
-Connoisseur A & B
-Voodoo juice (not used in first grow but using in this grow)
-B-52
-Big Bud
-Overdrive
-Azamax

Plants and Medium:
I am using a great soil that i get from my local hydro shop. They really helped me out with this grow and gave great advise.
-Medium is an Ocean Blend combination consisting of Earthworm castings, sphagnum, peat moss, pumice, coconut coir, bat guano, seabird guano, crustacean meal, fish meal, kelp meal, lime, oyster shell, and I believe perlite although not listed on the bag.
-Root pouch 3 gallon fabric pots during veg
-Root pouch 5 gallon fabric pots during flower
-For this grow I am planting 4 total plants. 2 indica dominant Phantom cookies and 2 sativa dominant blue dream. All were received as clones from company King Klones.
-I will be topping and pinching both plants. I hope to get at least 4 main colas from each plant.

problems I have had:
-The room the tent is has no central ac or heating. I am constantly messing with adjusting doors and windows and extra fans all the time. Especially during the summer.
-spider mites during summer
-mold during drying, removed any moldy pieces and triple checked each nug afterwards when i finally had the time.
-When it came to chop them down, trim, dry, cure it fell around the holiday season and I was very busy so I couldn't give the flowers the attention they needed.

Hopefully I did it right and all my pictures get posted up properly.

The Phantom cookies was planted on 12-26-2014 and the Blue Dream on 12-30-2014.

I am hoping to maybe switch the lamp out for an LED set up soon. I've been researching a lot and all I hear is great things from the internet but my very helpful never has let me down local hydro shop owner strongly suggests they are a hoax and made famous by internet marketing. Maybe he just needs to find a different strain, one that doesn't cause crazy paranoia.

Any thoughts, advice, critique, questions please feel free to leave a note.

I use a 300 watt off road led light in my green house when in veg. works perfectly

I use a 300 watt off road led light in my green house when in veg. works perfectly
What about flowering?
I went ahead and pulled the trigger. After tons of research and going against my local hydro shop recommendations I put in an order with him for an LED. I purchased, using tons of hours of research, what I believe to be one of the top of the lines highest of quality LED lights. The Lumigrow pro 325w. Got it for about $856 out the door with taxes. I should have that by the end of the week. Now for an update on my grow.

UPDATE:
The plants are about 14" tall from soil to top leaf. I have topped and pinched a few times each plant. I accidentally broke off a branch from one of the blue dream plants when pinching it tonight. I don't have a cloning station yet so I did what I could with what i had. I packed soil as tight as i could in a red solo cup. I shaved the ends of the branch. Dipped the tip into Advanced Nutrients Voodoo juice and tried to plant it. Who knows maybe ill get lucky. Remember I'm still running my lights 24/7. I have been keeping up with my nutrients split up about twice a week. It has been about 2 and a half weeks and I think I will raise my lamp to 16" from the top of the canopy to stretch them a bit more. Then at the end of the week I will switch them to flower. I want these babies ready before 4/20 so they might be a bit rushed. Temperature is taken at about 12am every night. the coolest time of day. I will find out what the temp is around 3 pm the hottest time of day. Enjoy the pics.

for flowering just good old sunshine and dark...mine was like maybe $130 your plants are looking good

UPDATE:
So I have switched them over to flowering about 2 days shy of full a full 4 weeks. I was hoping to get them to flowering at 3 weeks but due to a delay on my lumigrow led that got pushed out.

I know have my 4 plants under the lumigrow pro 325. This thing is rad! Unfortunately I got the wrong mounting brackets. I got the commercial grower brackets instead of the V shape hanger mounting brackets. Lumigrow is pretty cool and shipped me some 2 day shipping for free. I should get that wednesday or thursday.

The Lumigrow runs sooo cool. Huge difference from the mhl 1000w bulb I just had in there. About 8 degrees cooler. This causes a problem for me since its winter in northern California. The first couple nights the plants were freezing in 65 degrees F. Touching them they felt very weak and fragile. To resolve this I switched their day cycle from 6am to 6pm instead of 6pm-6am. I also put a small room heater inside the grow tent. about 3 inches away from anything and only runs for 1 hour a day on low heat. This seems to bring the temperatures up to 73 and it tends to stay there for most of the day. I moved them from 3gallon fabric pots to 5gallon fabric pots. As far as I know fabric pots are the only pots that should be used. Now for what you guys all love. Some pictures.

Should I trim up the lower branches a lot more? What are your guys thoughts?

looks like if anythings wrong that its lack of light to the bottom leaf that looks weird. those leds grow so tightly compacted plants. idk if it has the power to bloom it out though....might, it looks kinda high tech. are you \scroging at all?

Looking great I really want one of them lights damn it also great results on your first run and hoping for a nice clean run again this time subbed

Also with the lower yes trim away your top colas will thank you with huge fat buds for taking away the sucker buds

The footprint on the 325 is 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft.! lumigro is good but old tech and coverage is terrible! You should have bought 2 AREA51 RW150 for 840 dollars delivered. With all the organics in your medium be cafeful. ITs hot already! After lookin again u have lockout going already! I would flush with ph 6.2 water for 2-3 days! humidity is high too! needs to be no higher than 50 percent! Temps need to be mid 70s. That lumigro wont cover all that! You needed the 650.

there is a def problem. Are u ph your solution? Its not a def! Its ph problem!
It's probably not a pH problem, since he's growing in soil. His pH would have to be off the charts for the soil to be unable to buffer it, like way off the charts. It looks to me more like the beginnings of Potassium deficiency and/or Magnesium Deficiency, but whether it's from underfeeding or lockout I can't tell. I would try a light epsom salt foliar and see if that helps.

I don't know the medium is basically a hand made ocean forest mix that is probably hot to begin with and then mixin the advanced nutes on top of it theres either a lockout or def and with all those nutes I don't think its a def! something to do with either calcium phosphours or potassium. something is bindin something, the crop will be harvested but not top yield! I would tighten the plants together more! your losin a lot of light energy! Just tryin to help

I have used a mix like that outside and never mixed nutes just water the whole year and not a yellow leaf whole way through. maybe I would add bloom booster at the end ?beastie bloomz? those organics are the way to go outdoors that is! coco/perlite better!

Totally, that's why I think it could be from lockout as opposed to underfeeding, especially this soon after a transplant to 2 extra gallons of soil, there shouldn't be deficiencies, but a little too much of one of the nutes could easily lockout the others, that's also why I would try to correct it with a foliar rather than root drench, since you can't cause lockout with foliars. But yeah, i'm with you, organics rock, my next outdoor grow the only "nutrient" I'm using is bokashi compost and tea.
