Be patient don’t fool with it
Make sure it’s in a warm area and getting light
Edit
Why are you able to see root?

Should I just plant it cos its been in damp paper towels for nearly a week, it cracked after 2 days but that was 4 days ago andbnothing has happened since, what can i do as ive read that if i leave in wet towels for to log it will rot or just die? plz help

Cos im new and aint got a clue what im doing
It cracked open and has not grown a root in a week. They don't sit stagnent in that state and then suddenly take off.
R.I.P. It's dead. It may have been still born and not your fault.
Try again. Do some reading on germinating seeds.

And that will work just straight from packet to coco? Do i need to give it a day in water or just plant it? Only because ive just put a critical in soak about 6 hours ago, should i give it over night or just plant it now, thanks for the advice so far

Yes. As long as you properly hydrate the coco, you can just open the packet of seeds and put one in, about a knuckle deep. Coco can be harder to learn with than soil, but I honesty find starting seedlings in it to be easy because it's a little harder to overwater.
