If you are using MG soil, the Organic kind is better. The regular kind has time release nutes, so at harvest you may get a chemical taste from that. You could flush the post several times at harvest, that might help.

WATERED the girlies this morning, it has been
5 days since their last watering. Again each bebe
Received 3/4s of a cup except for MKIV which
Received 1 1/2. Surprisingly the sickly WW seems
to be recovering. I hope to post pics tonight.

Just a warning; but watch out using Miracle Grow brah, might be the answer to some of the probs.
Nice setup tho, did you ever fix your ventilation dillema? If not willing to help troubleshoot it.

pulling up a chair for this one..

No, ventilation is not fixed. I have been keeping the tent open during lights on and that keeps the temps in the mid to low 70's.
If I close the tent it will easily reach mid 80's. I know this will be an issue with smell and heat when the girls are a little bigger. I have some thoughts but nothing real concrete. Thanks for stoppin' in loudpac.

hmmm, well your house temps are whats determining your tent's temp. If your not willing to get different ventilation or a portable a/c unit ( i know i wasn't) and you haven't tried this already, try lowering your places a/c temp if you can n c what happens. I had this exact same problem with my grow in the beggining and it was 4x26watts in a small PC case, once I lowered my a/c about 3-5 degrees and added a glass barrier temps went down to high 60's at night to low 70's max. Althought its cfl 75 degree air going in can get pretty warm with all those bulbs.

smell is a huge prob, especially since your nose will desensitize itslef in time to the smell and you will not notice your girls stinking the neighborhood up (atleast that was the case with me and i had 1 plant on a micro grow). I know u hate it, but unless it's legal round your way, your going to need a carbon filter or http://naturalmagic.com/. these worked for me; i just placed one directly by my exhaust and 0% smell (or so i was told cause i couldnt smell shit n the first place). but my grow was on a way smaller scale

Your setup n grow look thorough bred, you should be alright in the long run. Im here if u need me.
watching.....

Well pics will have to wait till this weekend, appear to have a virus on my pc. :(
If I figure how to upload pics from my iPhone I may get the pics in tomorrow. Decide
I will lower my exhaust closer to the girls. Right now the exhaust is at the top of tent and is
Appprox 41/2ft from the lights, I hope this helps with the temps.

Loudpac, thanks.

Newmex we got the same problems, yeah right now i have no intake or exhaust fan so my temps get up to 90 if i close the tent. i do have a 10" lil blizzard fan in there. even when door open my temp only drops to 82. and my house is at 74-76. plants look like there doing fine with the temps but i still have to get my ventilation in.

i read alot about MG and i decided it was to much of a hassle. I got some Lambert organic soil from HD for $6. No time release $hit and ph balanced ingredients compare to good soil mixes. even Lowes got some soil for $6 called jungle growth. Look up Concord Dawn he has a grow with it and its crazy......

How bout the brown tips and brown spot in the middle of the leaf?

I planned on transplanting maybe now would be a good time? The girls are approx 21/2 weeks into seedling growth, I do not believe I am over/under watering.

the little cotyledons are suppose to yellow and dying off. There main purpose was to store food in early life stage of the seedling. but i have the same burnt tip on some of my plants. i think it nute burn in my case. might be the MG releasing its nutes to early.

I am using the organic MG, I was thinking that maybe the nutes are all used up?

It takes something like 3 months for the food to get used up. That's why most people don't like MG or any soil that has time release nutes because there's really no way to know when they are used up. Just keep an eye on the 'new' leaves and make sure you're not getting any yellowing or drooping.

I mean really you can grow some fine quality herb with just water. If worst comes to worst, just use water and perhaps some molasses once flowering has commenced. Just make sure the water is of good quality and pH.

Well that was a bust and i think i knew better, can't put the a/c unit in the tent and not vent the exhaust out of the room, DUUHH.

3 weeks of seedling growth and the girls seem fine and it appears tomorrow will be a watering day. My bad idea for using the A/C in the the tent caused the girls to use up the water rather quick. I plan to officially call it veg stage as alot of growth is going on and starting to smell a little. :)

Good nite peeps, stay tuned as tomorrow night i plan to post some nice pics.

WATERED the girls this morn, I believe my bad idea had my girlies burning up and speed up this watering schedule. Last time I watered was only 3days ago.

Fresh$, I plan on posting pics tonight.

i have to water now every 3 days. Started with every 5 days and now there almost dry by the end of day 2. I'm using organic products so i dont want to let them dry out to completely.
