that looks tight, did it taste funky... they actually sell a stem and bowl set up made for fruits and vegetables. But you did a very unique pipe- i like that. I have made quite a few funky toss out bowls- but none that i have pics of.
But on the flipside, Why dont you have a glass bowl? They are keystone for smoking dank and getting the flavor

i haven't got a glass bowl yet i smoke solid most of the time anyway as the bud round here is only mid grade and cost too much for what it is.
i have smoked most ways except vaporizer, i wanted a cig and the bowl on my bong is only small so i wanted a deep large bowl on the pipe,
it was a bit moist on the inhale and quite rough but it worked well and no air leaks
and i don't want a cig now which is good,
well its 4.50am i am up about 8ish so night all

LOL, like the pipe. There is nothing worse than running out of rolling materials!
Sounds like a good idea trying the 3 set-up's. Not hair brained at all. I have only ever used different compositions of soil mixes and i think ill stick to what i know. There are 2 many other variables that i need to get stabilised before i think about soil. Heat is an issue for me right now. Attic is not best place but its all i have. Temp fluctuating between 60 and 100 on me. I think i need a small ac unit.
The cam seems fine, there is a little gum on the part of the lens that slides in and out but its nearly cleaned off now. Popped out and got some batteries so im gonna try my tric pics tonight when the lights come on again. I trimmed off a heap of fan leaves last night to let the light penetrate better.

i had a power cut yesterday and not only did i mess up my computer(corrupted my hdd windows would not boot blue screen) but the computer power supply i use for my 4 pc fans in the tent stopped working. the strange thing about it is that if i keep switching the power on and off to the unit it does start after about 8 tries, but i did not notice for 5 hours so my exhaust fan was not running, but i did not get too much temp increase only went up to 32* but my humidity when down to 46% and has stayed there a good thing at this stage. i am still installing the programs on my comp but i have a laptop to play with (ibm notepad thing its crap but it works)

do you treat coco as a soil or hydro which nutes or do you need coco nutes?
well i did some more trik photos today these are at the tip of the calyx no amber triks here wonder if i might be flushing to early but i can not go back now will have to see.

I personally think that you flushed at the best time, having smoked alot of different harvest time weeds, i say that trichs like that are perfect, i myself might harvest when the hairs are halfway amber, really bright green buds come from that, they taste different that way though.

thanks for the input s/panda and DJ i have 8 days left, i have seen a few amber triks so i hope the milky one start to change over the next week or so if they do i will be on track as my aim is to have 50/50 milky/amber triks at harvest time. i will update my plant pics over the next day or so and post some more trik pics in a few days.
yer the sun was shining right in to the room from the window so that helped when using the microscope the light on it is a bit weak, also my hands were a bit steadier.

Those pics are great - you're definitely in for a treat. Hope your timing works out well for you, I think it should be just right. You've done a great job and look forward to seeing how it finishes for you. I'm sure you will miss your friends, but it will be exciting to start on a new project. Hi all, Thanks for the comments
i was going to update this yesterday but i got a mad headache and couldn't,
leaves continue to yellow and drop off, i wonder now that some of the cover leaves are dropping off should i be keeping them to put with the main trim to make honey oil with?
i am still waiting to see some more amber trics before harvest i am hoping that i can keep to my original chop day, i might have to put the date back but this is not a problem. so my idea is on Friday the 13th at 12 noon (GMT) i will be posting pics of my plants and asking you lot for your input as to whether to crop or not. and i will then make my decision by 4pm.
on Saturday i watered them giving each 4 litres and getting about a litre of run off, two of the pots the run off was a light yellow (pi** colour) but the other 2 the run off was a dark brown colour, not had this before to this extent, anyone have any ideas as to why this would be?
i took a few pics but i did not want to take the plants out of the tent so here they are these were taken yesterday before my head exploded,

wow those plants look narly- your gonna have a good yeild... I cant wait to hear the numbers...
Make sure you harvest in the morning before the lights come on, you will lock in a higher potency and better flavor... Dawn and dusk are when plants are the smelliest... so many believe it is also the time to harvest...

and if everything goes to plan i will cut them down on the 13th at 10.50am just before lights come on.
ok another question is when harvesting which leaves should i cut off? all of them or just big leaves and wait till they are dried a bit before taking the little leaves.

Looking fat man! Cant wait for you to get to harvest will be great to see what you get wet and dry weight wise. As for chopping before lights come on, ive heard that on here as well so may be worth a shot. Some people even have lights off for 48 hours then chop as it supposedly makes the plant produce lots of resin? Either way like you i will try anything to get the best out of my plants so thats what i'll be doing lol

thanks TGP, any suggestions at this point i would be great full for as this is my first harvest. ok theres another one should i let my lights go out Wednesday and leave them off till Friday? has anyone tried this and does it help?

you could also do prolonged period of darkness before harvest as the THC crystals will be producing in the dark and you can squeeze out even more crystals... my buddy just tried that having researched it after i went off about the 36 before flowering, and he said that the amount of resin exploded overnight. IDK tho- i have only done a little research about it- but some reliable ppl do it, it takes longer- but from what i hear it makes everything better- i will definitely try it with my bag seed harvest cause its all for science.

OB Cron's words are wise, Kenobi knows that for the marijuana plant to reach her jedi potential that she must first turn to the dark side, if only for a period of 36 hours. Hell yeah, im gonna try it too. But is 36 hrs a bit too long? The plant is already producing major resin at this stage in the process. I think an extra period of 12hrs will be sufficient before becoming degratory.

right, here is the plan of action: Wednesday afternoon I am going to check the trics and decide whether to give them a watering OR, to leave the lights off when they go out at 11pm, till friday and harvest then!
I will post pics on wednesday at about 12 noon (gmt) to see what you think.
I looked today at the trics and, there is a change now, there are very few clear but I did not see any amber ones, the problem being, is that I have to remove the bud, to put it under the microscope and I don't like cutting bits off. I think, for next time I will get a 30X microscope that I can just look through.
I am hoping that all goes to plan, then I can do my Jason bit on Friday 13th (chop, chop, chop!)
