So I've got 3 females heading into their 7th week of flowering (12 by 12 light), and the upper buds and leaves seem to be drying out, despite ample water. Here are the particulars:

Grown in soil made up of roughly 1/3 each miracle grow, perlite, and foxfarm ocean forest
Started under 6ooW MH, now under 500W LED.
Temp ranges 70-80 degrees
Using Tiger Bloom feed w/ full watering once every 5 days or so.
I've been adding large amounts of PH down, but have had trouble keeping soil PH below 6.5-7.
Fully flushed w/ 0 nutes 3 days ago.
Removed most fan leaves about a 2 weeks ago.
In their 5th week of flower, they went 6 days in total darkness, at about 50 degrees b/c of a power outage.
As you can see in the pics, the upper buds and leaves are drying out, and the buds themselves are much less sticky than the lower, smaller buds. checked w/ a microscope, and trichomes are still clear.

I have no idea what's going on here, but I've tried everything, and have even been conscientious of over/under feeding. Pls. Help, I don't want to loose these girls right at the home stretch.

if it wasn't the organic miracle grow, then mixing those two soils was counter productive. Miracle Grow uses chemical water soluble ferts, while fox farm is organic ferts. The chemical ferts can kill off the beneficial fungus and bacteria that is in the fox farm. Removing most of the fan leaves wasn't a great choice either. The fan leaves are the power factories for the plant.

At this point I would just make sure your waters PH is good, and don't over feed them.

Thanks for the help...I removed the fan leaves b/c I thought that was what you were supposed to do to increase light to the buds...I guess it's a first-timers mistake...should I then never remove fan leaves?, b/c I've read/heard a fair amount to the contrary. ...and is there any way to fix nute burn aside from flushing?

The only time I would reccomend removing fan leaves is if a particular leaf or sets of leaves are blocking light to a bud site. Keep in mind that the plants leaves are kinda like solar panels gathering light for photosynthesis (making food). Leaves are very important so you need to way the pros and cons before removing them. You will get tons of different opinions on here about when to remove fans and how many to remove but the fewer the better.

UPDATE: So I've been using a cheepie soil Ph tester, and think that I've isolated the problem. Went to the hydro shop and explained the prob. to the clerk...he mentioned that I'd gone through a relatively large amount of Ph down. So I got a water ph tester, like for the pool, and checked the runoff...below 4!!. Flushed the plants w/ Flora Kleen and tap until the runoff was in the 6ish range. Hopefully I'm homefree w/ only a week or so left to harvest. Moral of the story...don't buy cheap shit.
