Has been for quite some time.
So the question is, wtf are we still doing there?
What was our mission in Afghanistan? Have we accomplished that?
First of all I have to say, and I'm not gay, Goddamn that's a handsome man you posted there doob. Secondly, I don't quite understand what the problem you Libs have with "mission accomplished". Any one who has spent time in the military knows that there are literally thousands of missions that make up a military campaign, and there can be many campaigns that make up a war.
At the time of that particular celebration and speech, THAT mission was accomplished. I don't ever recall Bush saying that the "WAR" was accomplished, or that there weren't more missions yet to accomplish...did you? Please provide evidence to support your assertion if you answer yes to the above. Otherwise, just zip it and send a mental thank you to the man.
