First off let me say that I know that yield estimates are a crapchute. One person will insist that a 1 foot tall plant can produce a pound a month if you do it right and others will say 1g if you are lucky.
Here are the basics of my rig.
It is in my semi-insulated shed, no climate control just a window if it gets hot. Future plans to upgrade that are 1 week to 1 month away to beat the hot season.
I have Mylar on all by 1 side of my setup, the ceilings and the bottom is concrete slab.
My veg room has 4, 4 foot T18 florescent tubes running 24/7. My flowering room has a 400 watt HPS on a 12/12 cycle.
My grow is housed in a 12 foot long, 4 foot deep and 4 foot tall "cabinet". Each side is broken up into 6x4x4 sections with only Mylar separating each side.
I start my seedlings and clones in small cylindrical rockwool plugs, then as they get bigger to 4" rockwool cubes.
Those go into cloning trays (hold 8 of the 4" cubes each) and I put about a 1-2" layer of clay pellets between the cubes and bottom of the tray.
I plan on doing a continuous harvest so that every 2 weeks I am moving a batch of 8 from veg to flowering and then cutting my 2-4 mothers to make another batch of 8 clones.
So as one new tray comes into flowering, 8 plants are harvested and started drying. 1 week drying (longer if need be) and 1 week curing and then another batch is harvested and starts drying.
At my peak (few months off) I am going to have 5 trays of 8 plants each on my flowering side and then 5 trays of 8 clones on veg and then 1 to 2 trays of 4 mothers each.
Biggest drawback is that plants will only have about 3.5 feet before they are touching the bottom of the HPS. I figure I can let them get about 2-2.5 feet tall before I have to start with some massive airflow across the tops.
So we are looking at 8, 2 foot tall plants harvested every 2 weeks (each plant will have 2 months in the flowering side).
How much do you think I can expect in yeild?
