I was pretty disappointed with Zamaldelica. The high, what little there was, definitely had potential. But there are many many better options for someone who doesn't want to seriously hunt through plants that take over 100 days to finish. I did a decent job on them I thought. Hardly perfect as it was a first run, but I've done the same to the same better options I mention and gotten much better results in a lot less time.
I also had one go full blown hermie, which is a known thing unfortunately but I was willing to accept the trade off... it is still another knock.
The Peyote Purple I grew from CBG was similarly weak. Beautiful plant to look at. VERY VERY Homozygous line and I think it has some breeding potential for that reason. You maybe can find a plant that actually puts out high levels of cannabinoids with hunting too - IDK - but I did not find anything with a punch.
ANd I know that's a mostly indica line and probably of no interest, but it brings me to a greater point - I don't think the lines Ace and CBG puts out are suitable for a guy just looking to get some good smoke out of a few seeds. I think they potentially will require more hunting. I actually think this is probably true for most land race sativas and more pure hazes (or hybrids that touch a pure haze) based on my experience with them... but I think finding a winning plant makes it worth while, but it's one of those things that requires some misses.
It's a small sample, so take it for what it's worth but I am gun shy on putting anything in the ground from them with my relatively small operation. I wouldn't hesitate if I had a lot more room to spare.
Sannies Sugar Punch is pretty unstable, but most people have good luck with it anyway. I recommend it highly.
Sweet Skunk from PeakseedsBC is awesome sativa smoke and it's pretty stable for many things. There's a bit of variation but there are a lot of important qualities that are quite uniform from plant to plant. It's cheap, it's good.
Sugar Punch ranges from sweet to a sweet candy/diesely kind of flavor and the high tends to be kind of trippy on good specimens. There are lesser specimens to be found as well which is more of a generic sativa buzz for lack of a better description. These aren't completely disappointing but the trippy ones make these worth growing. I found a good % of plants to be awesome.
Sweet Skunk every plant is quite good, some are great. More piney with hints of sweetness. A subtle smelling plant, but a very nice smell. Buzz is mostly in the head and can be a bit racy. Also kind of trippy. Smoking on it right now and loving life... kind of inspired this post actually.
