Need help picking a sativa

the dream beaver is one of my most cherished packs. Can't wait to get to it. I always forget that it's a "sativa" hybrid though.
I bet
Ive read countless reviews on it and everyone says it does take 9-10 weeks but worth every second of waiting. Next order for me will include the dream beaver for sure.

I always say ACE or Cannabiogen Panama Red. It stretched 2x under LED I had real close to it and finished at 12 to 14 weeks flower. Pure sativa. They have other sativas that are real nice, Punto Rosa, Mangobiche and others.

I have a pack of Frankies from Chimera, looking forward to that, it's genetics are Jack Herer x New York Haze. Supposed to be badass smoke and indoor friendly. Rishi Kush from Mandala is not called a sativa but gives me energy and no burnout after the comedown. I think it went 10 weeks and 2x stretch.

Are you talking about KaliMist's long flower time?
Any sativa over 10 weeks , the time investment is not worth it imo
i have had really nice hybrids that can easy finish in 7 weeks they would be a mix of indica/sativa

plenty of nice sativa doms that finish in 10 weeks have very thin leaves and make long sativa shaped buds

the sativas i have grown that take 12-14 weeks were ok but not worth the extra time

from my own experience if you harvest early a 12 week sativa dom hybrid at 10 weeks or a 10 week sativa at 8 weeks
you will get that racy type of high more so than fully maturing a 14 week sativa

Snag it up quick! If I am not mistaken the Appalachia used as the dad in that cross is no longer around. Perhaps what's out there is among the last of it? Or maybe he has more seeds saved... no clue but don't sleep on it just in case.

It's a terrible feeling to sleep on a strain and then watch it slip out of your reach.

I've got the destroyer from cannabiogen in veg now. Have you run it yet?

That Mangobiche I hear is a super longer flower. A homie of mind had some beans of them. I'd love to run a room full of OGs and sativas.

Indeed, I've been very happy with the strains I've tried from Bodhi.

I agree with Torontoke's suggestion of Dream Beaver. Never tried it myself but every review I read about it sounds like it would suit your needs.
I have decided on trying out the beaver. I still want to check out mountain temple, silver mountain, prayer tower, or possibly one of the milk crosses... I am going to hold off on kali mist and try an appilacion strain while I can... I can pick 3...

What exactly is in Bodhi's appilacia? Green crack and something? Should I ask in the Bodhi section?

Don't know if anyone answered in the other thread. But Appalachia is green crack x jj's trees dawg

I was pretty disappointed with Zamaldelica. The high, what little there was, definitely had potential. But there are many many better options for someone who doesn't want to seriously hunt through plants that take over 100 days to finish. I did a decent job on them I thought. Hardly perfect as it was a first run, but I've done the same to the same better options I mention and gotten much better results in a lot less time.

I also had one go full blown hermie, which is a known thing unfortunately but I was willing to accept the trade off... it is still another knock.

The Peyote Purple I grew from CBG was similarly weak. Beautiful plant to look at. VERY VERY Homozygous line and I think it has some breeding potential for that reason. You maybe can find a plant that actually puts out high levels of cannabinoids with hunting too - IDK - but I did not find anything with a punch.

ANd I know that's a mostly indica line and probably of no interest, but it brings me to a greater point - I don't think the lines Ace and CBG puts out are suitable for a guy just looking to get some good smoke out of a few seeds. I think they potentially will require more hunting. I actually think this is probably true for most land race sativas and more pure hazes (or hybrids that touch a pure haze) based on my experience with them... but I think finding a winning plant makes it worth while, but it's one of those things that requires some misses.

It's a small sample, so take it for what it's worth but I am gun shy on putting anything in the ground from them with my relatively small operation. I wouldn't hesitate if I had a lot more room to spare.

Sannies Sugar Punch is pretty unstable, but most people have good luck with it anyway. I recommend it highly.

Sweet Skunk from PeakseedsBC is awesome sativa smoke and it's pretty stable for many things. There's a bit of variation but there are a lot of important qualities that are quite uniform from plant to plant. It's cheap, it's good.

Sugar Punch ranges from sweet to a sweet candy/diesely kind of flavor and the high tends to be kind of trippy on good specimens. There are lesser specimens to be found as well which is more of a generic sativa buzz for lack of a better description. These aren't completely disappointing but the trippy ones make these worth growing. I found a good % of plants to be awesome.

Sweet Skunk every plant is quite good, some are great. More piney with hints of sweetness. A subtle smelling plant, but a very nice smell. Buzz is mostly in the head and can be a bit racy. Also kind of trippy. Smoking on it right now and loving life... kind of inspired this post actually.

I have a few packs of Sannie's Killing Fields. Might want to consider that one. Sounds like it could be great. I seen it on kgp's top 5 and looks like he has access to lots of elite cuts.
**** Requires pheno hunt. I found a couple of pretty meh plants in the line. Found a really great one too and another couple not quite so good but still good. Also have heard that the F4's are more indica. I'd go with the fems if you're looking for a production plant and not breeding. Maybe try to hunt some earlier generations on auction sites or through other sources... just my thought.

Sounds interesting, I would also suggest Amnesia haze or Super Silver Haze, both are some of my favorites.

Regarding sugar punch... 3'rd time seems to be the charm for me. First two I grew were meh. The third one is super potent and def trippy! So much so that I had to go lay down in bed for 20 minutes. Room started spinning and shit.

That was from seed, tiny plant, stuffed in a corner, no love. I have a second one from clone about 5 weeks in to 12/12 that is looking much better. SUPER sweet smell to it! Surprisingly not too bad stretch either. Only downside I can see is that it likes to start flowering in veg under 20 hrs of light.

I will proceed with caution when this one is ready and only take a couple rips off the bong! My god

high times LOL
usually i laugh at those. especially the euro version in the late 90s- early 2000s.
but winning strains has been legit the last couple yrs.
guess there finally weeding out the B.S.

i rather go with local strain winners like archives hell raiser and ggg dream catcher.
local communities in nocal/socal doesnt put up with that fake bs.
thats why the hightimes winners seem legit too me.

Glad you found a keeper. I found they liked to flower if they're rootbound. Quite a few lines do this. Should work itself out I think with an up pot.
