I have 3 autos all in flower period by about 5 weeks. I am having trouble with my bubalicious as there seems to be loads of nutrient deficiencies! I have been using pk13/14 for flower and i used tomatorite for veg. I noticed a calcium/magnesium deficiency so i added epsom salts about 7 days ago. After 3 days it only seemed worse so after research i found out about nute lockout and realised this could be my problem as i didnt flush the veg nutes out before flowering. I flushed 3 days ago, It has been a week since I noticed the problem and it only seems to be getting worse! Im so close to finishing flowering so itd be a nightmare if i ruined it at this stage! Not sure what i should now and any advice is greatly appreciated. Leaves are yellowing, curling up at tips, burning at tips and brown spots are slowly taking over the whole leaves! I'm hoping it is lock out and it will just take a few more days to righten but it looks like shit right now. Its only my second grow so im probably completely wrong

Epsom salts doesn't have any calcium. It can help calcium intake, but if you have no calcium there to begin with, all you're getting is magnesium out of it.

For calcium you can either get some Cal/Mag (which I wouldn't at this point since you've already added the epsom so you have magnesium) or you can get some lime. You can get a small bag of lime at Home Depot for 5 bucks. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Espoma-6-75-lb-Garden-Lime-100508617/203192761

Mix a few table spoons for each plant in a half gallon of water and let it have it. It'll take some time for this stuff to start working (a few days at least), but one dose is all it takes as one dose is good for a couple months or so.

I dont have a ph tester yet. But I've been using john innes compost and tap water just. I would presume my ph would be neutral as i flushed it loads 3 days ago

Apologies it just says multi purpose compost with add john innes. No nutrient information on the packet either for some reason!

First off, never assume your PH is OK. If you haven't tested the water, and haven't tested the soil, you're living on wishful thinking on the PH being OK. It may or may not be.

The next money I spent would be on a soil tester. You can get one just about anywhere for 20 bucks. Then you'll know for sure. If it turns out to be off, the lime can actually help stabilize it and add the calcium at the same time.

Okay i will get one tomorrow. If it is too high or low what should I do? Ive read about using ph up and down but no where local stocks it and it will take a week too get here! Can plants die from the wrong ph? I'm panicking tbh

If it's low (acidic) the lime will do it for you. There's a ratio chart on the back to give you target amounts to mix in.

If it's high (base), you can add a bit of white vinegar to your water to make it more acidic. Lemon juice also works well, but is more pricey. You can buy a bottle of white vinegar for a dollar. Get a gallon of water, test the PH, and add vinegar accordingly to lower the PH down to the acidic side.

Thanks for all the advice! I picked all the leaves that looked very bad. It will allow my bud sites to get more light anyway. My water was 7 but that was after me flushing it loads a week ago so it may have neutralised it a bit as I definitely think I had nute lock somehow! I lowered my ph to around 6.5 as I read that is optimum. All my new growth in the plant seems unaffected it was mainly low-med leaves and fan leaves. Condition doesnt seem to have worsened, I'll see how it looks in a few days.
