need some adive on ventialation

I've been growing for about 8 years now. I've never had an air tight room before until now. I have a shipping container with closed sell insulation sprayed in. I'm also using a Mitsubishi 12000 btu mini split. the room is only 10 x 8. From what i read the mini split doesn't bring any fresh air in. I use a carbon filter. Smell is of upmost importance. There will be faimily and friends standing right beside it when they are on my porch.

Get a CO2 generator and dehumidifier. And run a carbon scrubber or two in there.

You do need to expel the air in the room for a few minutes once an hour or two though even with Co2 and of course during the night hours no Co2 just fresh air. Carbon scrubber on the exhaust. Safe

So if I drilled a 2 inch hole in floor would my inline fan suck air in or blow air out?

Depending on what has more pressure.. the outside.. or in your container. .i wouldn't drill a hole yet if you're actually thinking of co2 or even containing the smell
