It’s day 33 of flower (89 days total so far). Things seem to be going well, very dank and sticky at this point, seems like a positive to me. Thing is, as shown in the pics attached, my girls went through something and I’m not sure what. Some lower leaves look almost burnt and I was definitely expecting a bit more of a stretch after the flip. Things at canopy level seem fine. I have been growing after 2.5 years and am obviously still learning. Have normally had excellent results with this process. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I will agree with the above, since youre growing with slow release, did you maybe overwater last round? If so just let it dry out a bit and it will shake back. Looking good, sometimes weird things just happen with these plants.

Well, I’m not sure it you can overwater with coco. I water every other day, 1.5 gal each, until a few drops start to come out the bottom. Since I’m not using liquid nutes, salt buildup isn’t usually an issue.

I don’t think you’re overwatering because most people are watering once per day (or more) in coco.

One thing I have learned is not to over react to a few leaves. Overall they look large and mostly healthy.

You asked for suggestions?

1. Switch to bottles if you want to run coco.
2. Don’t use 5 gal if you’re not going to veg longer than 60 days (some would say at all)
3. Veg longer next time if you want them taller. Don’t flip until it’s completely spread out where you want it.(LST) Then depending on your grow tent height, you can adjust your amount of days in veg.

I totally did not register the coco part, kinda jumped to the gaia green part lol. Slow release in coco? How do you like it verse liquids? I grow soil currently and looking to make the jump and try some coco again.

We’ll, I think it’s a great option. I mix dry amendments when I mix up the pots for transplanting then top dress every three weeks both based on manufacturer’s recommendation. Then adjust ph and water. I do add cal mag and occasionally compost tea.
Works for me.
