I tend to disagree superman. To the best of my knowledge, florescent light degrades after a very short distance. With floros you want them to be a couple inches away from the plant. They don't produce much heat at all so they are a lot less likely to burn the leaves. Moving the light farther away will cause the plant to stretch, which isn't a good thing.move the light away from it some. plants will ALWAYS grow towards the light source. dont move it to the other side of the room but back it up a couple feet. the light will be more evenly distributed and the plant wont burn. by having the light right next to the plant you risk creating hot spots and reduce your potential yield. also rotate the plant 1/4 turn every two days to ensure a higher yield. hope this was helpful. let me know how it goes
