Now, since I was nice enough and bored enough to do this, you will watch every single movie on this list and report back here with a short 200 word essay on each film.
I havent seen jackie brown in a while but I think you mean De Niro not Pacino?Jackie Brown is a MUST SEE, directed by Quentin Tarentino starring fucking Samuel L, Pam Grier, AND PACINO?!?! BEST MOVIE OF ALL FUCKING TIME
I thought Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was funny as hell. As a caveat though I watch every movie stoned out of my gourd and go into every movie with an open mind. You have some contradicting choices.
Dale and Tucker vs. Evil is one of those "I can't keep watching this shit" movies
But Wristcutters: A love story, was deeply touching and heartwarming. Loved that movie.
Will check out some others on your list.
My recommendations would be
The Hunter
(Kasper Carr) Street theif is pretty good
The Red Violin
I didn't see The fast Runner or Step Into Liquid on your list. I recommend.I thought Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was funny as hell. As a caveat though I watch every movie stoned out of my gourd and go into every movie with an open mind.
I've been meaning to watch The Hunter.
The majority of the movies on my list are foreign films.
Looks like The Fast Runner is no longer available. Step into Liquid doesn't exactly interest me, though I believe I did watch it on Comcast years ago.I didn't see The fast Runner or Step Into Liquid on your list. I recommend.
I didn't like Wristcutters much at all. cn
I just checked ... it's right there! And in the proper format even! cnLooks like The Fast Runner is no longer available. Step into Liquid doesn't exactly interest me, though I believe I did watch it on Comcast years ago.
I enjoyed Wristcutters..different strokes I suppose.
I suspect cost is an issue. i also suspect the quality of their inventory maintenance is slipping. I've had "Going Places" in queue for two years now. They list it as available, but it got shunted into some "delivery uncertain" limbo. After this long, yuh'sd think someone would update availability status.Yeah, not sure why they would have a digital copy of something and not the hard copy. I also don't understand why they don't just have the complete catalogue available both ways.
Two things.Wait, you wait for regular mail and use a physical disc? Does netflix even deliver to caves? Get with the times man! It's the 90's!
1. I bet you do, I bet you do.Two things.
1) I have a very narrow pipe. Getting a "modern' one would cost a lot. Pfeh.
2) I have never had anyone successfully explain to me how to access the Bonus Materials (such as the commentary and outtakes) from a streamed copy. DVD had led me to expect these as part of the package. cn
Are you pumping sunshine in that pipe? Two things.

I'll confess I missed the reference ... and am curious. cnAre you pumping sunshine in that pipe?
