Changing topic back to food.

Check out my moist and fluffy balls… on original German Schönwald tea bag porcelain.

German Quark Balls, supposed to moist and fluffy, but meh, these were underwhelming.

Quarkkäulchen is a Saxon dish made from dough containing about two-thirds mashed potatoes, one-third quark cheese, eggs and flour, and perhaps spiced with cinnamon or dotted with raisins.

I made spaghetti and garlic bread. The grandson loves it so I make whenever he is here. Yesterday I made hash brown casserole for the same reason. Yeah y’all guessed it I’m a sucker for the kids . I spoil them and love every second of it.
I've been on low carb so long I would kill for garlic bread hot out of the oven slathered with butter, (and buttered noodles, and a whole plate of mashed redskins, and pecan pie, and cinnamon rolls...) [sighs and drifts off into a mentally induced glycemic overload]

Oh boo, so sorry to hear that. Could it be an MSG reaction?
I've tried a few other times at home, high carb. still feel off. FWIW, If you'all are/were anything like me, overweight, older, sedentary, and eating pretty much a free for all diet, and haven't had a HBA1c test in a few years, I'd suggest getting one. You can order it and others thru labs w/o your PCP getting involved or if no insurance. This place is the best I've found pricewise, blood draw at a local LabCorp.
