OK SO FAR YOU ALL HAVE SEEN THE MOTHER & CLONE ROOM JUST WAITING IN THE FLOOR AND ITS COMPLETE. WE ALSO HAVE THE CLONE MACHINE(S) I GOT 1 BUILDING ANOTHER EXCATLY LIKE IT GONNA DO A DIY THREAD ON IT. AS FOR THE REST OF THE ROOM THE FLOWER AND VEGG,WE DECIDED TO BUILD 6'Lx6'Dx8'T CUSTOM HOMEBOXXES FOR FLOWER AND VEGG WE WILL USE 2x4s AND PLYWOOD AND WRAP THEM IN PANDA OR VISQUEEN PLASTIC. WE WILL ALSO BE BUILDING MABEY 1 OR 2 SMALLER BOXES FOR A COUPLE OTHER METHODS.EVENTUALLY WE WILL BE RUNNING A FULL EVERY 2 WEEK HARVEST SOG WITH A FEW SIDE PLANTS IN DIFFERENT SETUPS.***ALSO WE CHOSE NOT TO DO A FLLOD AND DRAIN TILL A FEW HARVEST THEN WE WILL DO CUSTOM 3x3 TRAYS FOR A SoG AND WERE GONNA PUT THE SCREENS ON THEM SO WE CAN JUST ROOL THEM TO THE NEXT STAGE. no, it helps keep his house warm during the winter. you can exhaust into your subfloor. vent into your crawl space under the floor.

We havent made up our mind yet but i think were going in the floor or attic guess well flip a coin to see got a lot more supplys today my wife got them for me its 2 pieces of pond liner 2 water/sump pumps and 1 air pump with a 14 hose attachment for dwc buckets

I got three pumps 1 is for the dwc buckets the 260 is for the clone machine and the 750 is for the big rubbermaids. Heres a few pics of them look at the big 1 for the dwc setup i was gonna do 8 but it has 14 outlets on it so im prob gonna do 12 and run the other 2 tubes back in the resivor to airate it.

why are you going with so many different kinds of hydro systems? if your bro is good at DWC why dont you want to stick with that?

the only problem i've had with DWC is that i find its incredibly sensitive to high temps (above 70F) and once your roots start rotting, there's not much you can do to fix 'em...

yea we from the dirty dirty to and it was hot as hell this summer but the plants still do ok heat shouldnt be an issue in the big room but im having to rethink my whole grow now some shit just didnt look right when i drawed it out

so whats the problem? not sure you want to do DWC now? if you are going to be doing a 15 site DWC in 5 gal buckets, i would suggest you add to your list a good water chiller... with all the HID and tiny containers surrounded by 80 degree air, the water in there is not going to stay at the ideal 68 degrees. Ebb/flow is not so sensitive to these temps, because the roots are not always in the nutrient solution.

i'm not sure what to suggest... i'm looking at doing a room of a slightly smaller size... i havent set it up yet, but i have the opportunity to use it for the next 7 months... i still havent made the decision to dive in yet but i was going to set it up with a nice size ebb/flow system and screens... and use 4 1000w lights... i am starting to sketch it out here: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/142307-new-room-2-harvests-am.html i still wont have an ideal spot for mothers/clones, but i will have my stealth closet hopefully filled with veging plants when this system is set up and ready to use so i will just clone them and drop them in.

you might as well get your mother/clone room set up, and get the process moving... the first few clones you can put in soil if you still dont have the hydro system set up.

putting a big screen in there would help the yield a lot, but it would require more maintenance, every few days you have to go in and arrange everything for maximum light coverage... but it pays off.

im not sure if i wanna build the boxes in the room or just split it up and leave it open and i really wanna do a SoG real real real badd im still trying to find the right setup

you can build that for much cheaper if you are handy... you can also alternate which way each tube goes from the res... so the res is in the middle, and instead of putting the pvc pipes so close together, they would have a little more space for the plants.

nice room mate sog is the way forward, better quality better yield, imo everyone should sog
been tempted to try a 4msq paddling pool converted into a bubbler with 300 clones in, might give it a go on the next run check my thread you may find the new tent ive bought interesting

They're what BloodShot is talking about........and if you read into them they are very simple too.......and I was just thinking that that type of system would end up being much less maintenence in the long run with outstanding performance even on your first run.
If you go with the buckets are they going to be individual res's? or you going to build/get a controller unit to control a big res?----which means connecting all the buckets together to recirculate. If each bucket is its' own dwc with air/stone it will be a lot of work to keep them all the similar nute/ph, etc, especially when they really start drinking the solution and your adding a gallon of water too each every day........

no i have an air pump that has a 14 outlet on it were gonna use 12 and block 2 of them to add a little more pressure. im thinking of going with 1 45 gallon resivor and 4 either 3x3 or 4x4 flood and drain trays. and that will be the SoG the dwc if we use it will be a closet grow kind similar with no veg ime just take 12 extra cuttings when i do my bi-weekly and throw them in 12/12 or something im still trying to figure out how to properly exhaust the air in the room if you will look a few pages back it has drawings of a few different ways i thought about doin it i gotta get it perect and i know im not goin to on the very first round but damit i wanna try

ok so we made up our minds tonight. were gonna have a clone room were gonna block off 1 side and keep the mothers in there,in soil. and were gonna have 4 resivors and 4 flood and drain trays an do a true sea of green. me and my brother will have a contest going though with a few plants and we both get a 400 wat hps. we decided to go ahead and get the 4 air cooled 1000 watters. for the SoG. cant wait. here is the final design. and a pic of the pump i used to build the other clone machine and 1 for 1 of the resivors

ok so we germinated 30 seeds bout 5 to 7 days ago. 25 killer bag seed from about 4 different kinds of kronic and 5 o.g. kush seeds 26 of them sprouted some being 3 and a half inches already. we have 21 very good kronic seeds and 5 og kush seeds. as you will see we used the paper towel method. we planted them in the lil red solo cups with 6 holes drilled in the bottom for drainage. had to put them in a big tub so i could water but i got little trays for them tonight ( will put em in tomorrow night ). we built the other clone machine tonight and im gonna do a diy and post it i will post the link in here later.GOT TO PUT THE FLOOR IN TO I KEEP FORGETTING ARRGGGHHHH... but any way here are all the picks
