thanks for the heads up on the T5's, really not sure what im gonna do yet, but i would like some side lighting in there. this girl here only been getting straight water for a week and a half for flushing, she's almost done. yeah, i'll be easy with the fox farm trio for sure. these 2 girls have been in hyponics black soil and the new grow is in jungle growth soil, ive never used FFOF soil ever. im a cheap ass and not paying that much for dirt, LoL.

this jungle growth has mild nutes in it, but again, im only using that on the new 5th grow. it is kinda dense and filled with bark and shit, i thought about getting some perlite and mix it in when i transplant to the bigger pots, and did mix in some worm castings already in the 2 smaller pots for the new girls. thanks for stopping in, + rep to ya.

dont use potting soil with ferts already in soil , the ph gets fuked round with bcuzz every time u water fert is released thus not allowing the fresh water to wash away the nutrient salts resulting in burnt plants with nutrient lockout from wrong ph . miracle grow organic potting soil is ok when amended with perlite and some composted steer manure all bought at lowes on the cheap . alaska 5-1-1 veg and 0-10-10 flowering ,r at lowes and r very good ferts and cheap at lowes/depot . i made a homemade 150 watt hps grow light with remote ballast from a security light i bought at lowes and it kicks ass its cheap, bright as hell and runs cool check out the diy if interested , use the others for side light . good luck

yeah, these were clones and what i did was cut the flower tops off when i was revegging them, so thats the way they turned out.

its day 127, i just looked at the trichs and i seen 1 amber trich, there still all cloudy, so im hoping that the week and a half will be enough, its gonna have to be, thats when she's coming down.

how do you guys dry your bud? i chopped a small nug yesterday that was done,let it sit in front of a fan for like 9 hours and was super super wet. i wanna see how ya'll are drying and curing. i wasnt expecting it to be fully dry but at least enough to smoke on.it tasted like grass.

dry for3-14 days then jar cure without curin buds tate shityy

Here's a basic rundown of how I do it.

Cut each branch off individually and pull the big fan leaves off. Should be able to do this without trimming.

If you choose to trim before, "sometimes I do sometimes I don't" then trim your sugar leaves and hang upside down in a dark well ventilated area "NO FANS" Maybe exhaust fan but holes for ventilation will work at this point, you want it to dry as slow as possible. Definitely no fans blowing directly on it!

Once the buds get crispy to the touch and the stem is bendy but isn't dry enough to the point it will snap is when I begin the cure.

After that Just try to keep the buds how you like them basically by opening the jar when there to wet or moist and closing it when there crispy again.

The 2 important factors here are 1) Not to let the buds get to dry because then you cant cure them. And 2) Don't let them get to moist or they will mold.

treeZ pretty much covered it all, heres what i have in my word journal,

When I harvest, I will use the veg box to hang and dry in. Cut the buds off, anything over one and half inches long, and manicure them right then and there. Then, using cheap masking tape, I will make rows 3 or 4 inches apart, across the box and hang them from the tape. Then run an oscillating fan on low, blowing OVER but not on them, just to keep air moving. Do not allow the buds to touch each other. By drying just the buds alone, you can dry them in 3 to 5 days. The big buds are 5 days, the small buds in 3 days, till you can snap the stems. then put the small popcorn buds in shoe boxes, not piled up or touching each other, and stir them around daily too. What you want to do is dry the buds first, and then CURE them, by placing them in jars, and opening the jars daily for a few minutes, to smell them, for up to 30 days. If they smell funky, take them out of the jar and dry them again two more days, then back in the jars. You have to watch those big colas close to make sure you don't get mold.
