LoL.
5-25/3 pm, Day 0, the new box is up and running with 2 of the seeds in the pots, they started to pop up out of the soil, but I covered them up with just a little more soil to give them another day before they pop out of the ground.
6 pm, I decided to go with just the 3 seeds. I have put all 3 in a planter box. It measures 7"W x 6"D x 18"L. It took a little more soil than 3 of the 6" pots held. The seeds are marked 1-2-2. Lets hope at least 1 of them is a female.
10 pm, the 1st 2 seeds have popped up out of the soil, still waiting on the 3rd, tomorrow will be day 1 of this grow. I will water them with plain rain water for the 1st week. I also put 2 cardboards deviders in to keep the roots serparate. Hope I get a female. The temp has been at 86 degrees, not to bad.
5-26/4 pm, its day 1 for the new plants, they all started greming at the same time but its like there each in their own stage. temp is holding steady at 86, i took the booster box out and that helped. i have room for to add more soil once they start streching.
5-27/10 pm, all 3 are up and out of the ground now. heat is still a problem tho, it goes up to 91 with the door closed and stays at 84 with it open. i'll have to work on that some.
5-28/2 pm, all 3 plants are up and looking happy. still fighting temps. i think the box needs a better exhaust system, the 2 small 80mm fans just are not cuttin it, plus my intake is only like 2" away from the side of the computer desk its sitting under.
5-29/3 pm, day 4 and the little ones are coming along just great, hope one of them is a female. still on just plain rain water.
5-31/4 pm, its day 6 for the new plants, im still not sure when i want to top these plants, i topped new bean at 8 days and she did real good. i might wait till day 12 this time and then put them on 12/12 at day 15 again. i wont be LST'in this time, just top and let them grow, if i get 2 females by chance, i will need the room for 2 plants this time so i'll just let them grow up.
6-2/ 6 pm, its day 8 for the new plants, they dont have names yet because i dont know what they are, but there looking good. the yellow thing i made to get rid of gnats, its covered with vasoline and is suppose to atrack the gnats. theres no gnats on it but they are gone. i let the soil dry out a little and that helped also. if needed, i will add some sand.
ok single pics, from the looks of it, there are 3 different types. my seed collection consists of abox with all the bag seeds ive been saving so its really random, LoL. the first 2 pics are old bean, which was a male, and new bean which is the female im getting ready to harvest next wednesday. then we have the 3 new plants, 1-1, 2-1, and 2-2. this just for comparison, i think im on track, LoL. i just started giving them the light nute mix last night.
6-3/5 pm, day 9 for the new plants, looking real good. the middle plant is way different than all the others ive grown, hope thats the female.
6-4/4 pm, today is day 10 for the new plants. the 4th set of leaves are just starting to come up and those are the ones that i am going to top. they arent quite ready, but there real close. i will watch them tonight and cut at the right time, more pics of topping later when i do it. i really thought that 2-1 and 2-2 were the same seeds, but 2-1 is way different than the other 2. the pics are a little fuzzy, but i circled the 4th set of leaves on each, when that tip comes up just a little more, cut cut cut.
6:30 pm, i just topped 2-1 and 2-2, 1-1 isnt quite ready so that will happen in the morning. as you can see, i cut about 2/3rd the way down the 4th set of leaves. this will soon turn brown and then hopefully, 4 new shoots will pop up all around the stub. again sorry, im using a cell phone camera so some are fuzzy, but you get the idea. the first 3 pics are of 2-2 and the next is 2-1 and then the cuttings off 2-1. i will again wait till day 15 for them to recover and then put into 12/12. they are already on a mild veg nute mix which i will change at day 16 to a mild flowering nute mix.
6-5/2 pm, day 11, the new plants are still looking good after topping 2 of them. 1-1 still isnt ready, maybe tonight. so i took the tray outside and banged it on the ground a few times to stir up the dam gnats, what a pain in the ass those things are, i did the yellow thing with vasoline and nothing, then the viniger, still nothing. also, let the soil dry, still there, so outside and shake them outta the soil, so far so good. no more gnats. while they were out, i also got all the stray ones in the box.
temps running about 86/88, which is right where this box always seems to run. as soon as new bean gets cut down, i will go back to 6 bulbs in the box for the new plants. those other bulbs are in the veg box where she is finishing up, should be real soon.
6-6/12 noon, day 12 for the new ones. i topped 1-1 last night so all 3 are now topped. in a couple days i will go to 12/12 to start sexing and hope for a female. the clone/new shoot/bud i cut from new bean is also in the box with the new plants just to see what happens with it. i have gone back to 6 bulbs in the box for the new plants.
6-7/5 pm, day 13 for the new plants, 2-1 and 2-2 have new shoots coming in already where i topped them, i get some pics when they get a little bigger and we see how many tops there will be.
6-8/2 pm, day 14 2-1 and 2-2 are looking real good but 1-1 is kinda lagging behind a little??? new bean still kickin it in the background,
6-9/8 pm, well its day 15 and time to change the lights to 12/12, i'll reset the timer tomorrow morning when the lights come at 8 am and set it to go off at 8 pm. i will also change to 1/4 strenght flowering nutes. i hope 1-1 comes to life, its lagging behind a little.
6-14/9 pm, well its day 20 and i retopped 2-1 and 2-2, i guess i didnt get enough the fist time. looks like i cut just the tip of the leaf off. thats what you get for fuckin with them when your stoned.
6-16/8 pm, day 22 and plants are doing good, i retopped 1-1 just now. the temps holdin at 84 while the lights are on. watchin for sex, nothing yet. there getting kinda big, they need their own pots, but im trying to wait till i see if any are female.
6-17/8 pm, day 23 and the new ones age doing great, the retop has had better results, lots of new growth.
6-19/6 pm, day 25, the plants are doing great, 1-1 is long and lanky, 2-1 and 2-2 are nice and bushy and the new tops are starting to come out.
6-20/7 pm, day 26 , the plants are doing great, lots of new growth, and the new tops are filling in real nice, 4 new shoots each on 2-1 amd 2-2. 1-1 is still hanging in there.
6-22/8 pm, well day 28 and 2-1 and 2-2 have showed sex and thier both females!! this awesome, still dont know about 1-1, nothing yet, but its a small plant and way behind the other 2. i will put them in thier own pots here in the next couple days, i still need another 10" pot. 3 or 4 bucks at home depot.
6-23/6 pm, its day 29 and the plants are now in thier new pots, just checked on them and it appears 1-1 is female also, 3 random bag seeds, 3 females, crazy huh!! wasnt planning on that. i put 2-1 in the 10" pot and 2-2 in the same size bud light bucket i had. 1-1 is in a 6" pot for now.
6-24/5 pm, ok, its day 30 and the 3 girls are looking good. im still not sure if i want to keep the 1-1, the box will fill up pretty good with just 2 plants. still thinking about putting her out back at work. now is the time to get some clones, so this weekend i might work on that. i broke one of the Y adapters so i need a new one and may set up the veg/dry box for the clones. my problem is they may grow to fast and i'll have to many plants.
7 pm, first, i still cant believe all 3 are females, they have all shown thier sex and theres lots of white hairs, and at only 28 days. i keep looking for balls to make sure. ok, i fucked up again with the watering thing, when i put them in the new pots, i watered them with the rest of a jug of nute juice. well, i left the valve open cause i was high, so when i put the new full jug up and went to bed, it emptied itself overnight. the left side of the box got soaked and tilted to the left even more from the first time i did this. as you can see in the pic how much its leaning from the dresser. the only good part is its only $14 for a new box, but im not gonna do anything about it now.
6-28/7 pm, day 34 and lots of bud sites all over all 3 plants. tomorrow will be 1 week of flowering, 9 more to go.
6-29/9 pm, day 35, its been 1 week since they all showed sex and started with pre-flowering. still havent decided if i want to keep 1-1.
6-30/8 pm, day 36, well 2-2 is showing good signs of topping, but i think i missed again on 2-1, theres only 1 main shoot/top where as 2-2 has about 8 main tops, so we'll see what happens.
7-1/7 pm, day 37 and the girls are looking great, i cant believe i screwed up and missed the top on 2-1 twice, oh well, on the other hand, 2-2 is topped great, because it was double topped, i think theres like 8 to 10 "main" tops now, will be cool to see how this one turns out. they are now getting my jacked up full strenght nute mix and loving it, dam they drink up some juice.
7-2/8:30 pm, day 38 and 2-1 and 2-2 are doing great, lots of flowers everywhere, looks like girls gone wild. and heres a pic of 1-1, she will go out in the woods over the weekend.
9 pm, im only putting 1-1 outside because its kinda lagging behind and the box is really only big enough for 2 plants which are looking very good. i still cant believe i got 3 females out of 3 random bag seeds. whats cool tho is that 2-1 and 2-2 appear to be 2 different strains. not sure tho if either are the same that new bean was, my first grow. heres a pic of new bean at 38 days. the new plants look way ahead of nb at the same age. temps have been right around 82/84, im very happy about that. they are now on full strenght flowering nutes.
7-4/3:30 pm, the girls are doing great, thier still kicking it in the ghetto leaning tower of u-haul. i topped them twice and 2-2 has like 8 main shoots, but 2-1 has only 1. i cant believe i missed twice on her. today is day 40 and day 12 of flowering.
7-5/1 pm, day 41 and the girls are looking good. im off to plant 1-1 out in the woods. i'll take pics of her from time to time just keep an update on her living outdoors. 3 pm, well, 1-1 is free to grow out in the wild, i planted her out back behind work in good spot so that i can still watch her grow. i couldnt get a pic cause its pouring here, but will soon.
7-6/3 pm, its day 42 for the girls and has been 2 weeks of flowering. both are doing great. i added some more soil to the pot as it has settled in both of them. temps are holding steady at 82 during the lights time and drop to 79 at night with the lights off. humidity runs between 37 to 50%, so all is good. i still see a few gnats here and there from time to time, where the hell do they come from?
7-7/2 pm, day 43, the girls are doing good, but 2-1 keeps doing this (see pic) with some of her leaves. they look like mutant leaves, i dont think its heat, its only 82 in there and they are half way down the plant. 2-2 shows no sign of this, and both plants are getting the same nute juice. plus the leaves are still bright green?
7-11/6 pm, i havent checked run off in a while, it goes in at 6.2 with nutes and its only the plain soil with no additives, when i did before, it was the same. both plants are very heathly except for that. both plants get the same water/nutes from the same jug with just a T splitting it for the 2 plants. the other plant looks perfect, so im just not sure what it is, but it doesnt seem to be affecting the buds forming in any way. so today is day 47 and i had went racing over the weekend and i watered them friday morning when i left and then today around noon. they are still looking great, bright and green and the bud sites are looking real good. heres some pics and a couple close ups of the leaves. its not bugs, its not heat, and it doesnt appear to be really hurting anything. so i dont know what the deal is.
7-12/5 pm, day 48 and the girls look great both plants have lots of white hairs forming, but 2-2 has like pink hairs, kinda cool looking. im hoping these 2 will put out some great bud. tomorrow will be 3 weeks of flowering. pics are a little fuzzy, but you can see the different colors between the 2.
7-13/6 pm, day 49 and that means 3 weeks of flowering today, just now started to see trichs on both plants and the buds are mad crazy looking, i so pumped. i did notice that the soil is more moist on 2-1 than 2-2, so that makes think that maybe there may be a root problem on her. but the leaves are still so green and the buds are forming all up and down the main stalk, looks like it will be 1 giant bud, where-as 2-2 will have many buds like everywhere. i'll keep an eye on 2-1 to make sure nothing happens to her.
7-14/5 pm, the girls are at day 50 and there looking great, the pink buds on 2-2 have me wonder still, there so cool looking, once again, i wish i would have clone them. im gonna look at some seed sites like gumball said. i mean, it was only bag seed. well, jacks does have some mag in it, so i think im good there, but it does not have cal in it, so i did some research about rain water and found this. RAIN WATER apparently, rain water has both, so maybe thats why i dont have those problems. the GH also doesnt have any calcium in it either. chain, i havent really even looked at any other nutes because of only using what i had, but if i can find some kind of bud buster nute, im more that willing to give it a try. if the dynagro is for vegging, like i said, i only veg mine for 15 days and then right into flowering, the first week is about half and after that, its full strenght, its just what i tried and has worked for me. i read all the sneak up on the strenght stuff, but then, i really dont know what im doing. this is my 3rd grow and things seem to be going well, so i just stick to what has been working.
7-15/5 pm, its day 51 and the girls are sill doing great. i trimmed some of the really big fan leaves off 2-1 to give the lower buds a little extra light, just a few tho. i would really like to get some side lighting in there for the girls, as im sure it would help alot, got some stuff ebay so i might work on that over the weelend when i get some extra cash.
7-16/3 pm, day 52 and the girls look great. i went out and took a lok at 1-1, shes still alive but not really growing or to good, i took a pic but was in a hurry and the pic was just a big blur, oh well. she is in the shade mostly and doesnt look to be really doing anything, the budsites are very small so i will maybe check on her 1 more time in a week or so but im not gonna worry about it with the 2 i have here.i found this on another site about the pink buds. how i got something like this, i have no idea. my buddy that was giving be buds had different shit every week, 1 time he had some really killer shit for just mids, so that might be this strain, it was very stoney and couchlock for sure. so all i can do is hope thats how molly turns out, since she is so pretty in pink, thats what i named her, molly. 2-1 will stay that.

7-17/6 pm, day 53 and the girls still look great. 2-1 has no more mutant leaves, there all gone and she looks very good, all the leaves are full and green. shes kinda cool looking as it looks like its gonna be just one huge bud from top to bottom. molly has 6 main tops and a few more smaller ones a little ways down. when i just checked on them, i noticed the fan blowing on the light has stopped working, but the temp is down to 81 so i think i will just leave it out for now. its a 12v auto fan hooked into the computer power source. everything else is still running so i guess it just gave up.
7-18/ 6 pm, day 54 for the girls, both are doing great. you can see in the pic of molly the 6 main buds, those all have some pink in them, all the lower buds still have just white hairs. 2-1 is filling in real nice. and heres a shot of the twins, day3 for them and thier still green so thats good.
7-19/6 pm, day 55, the buds on molly are really starting to get bigger and fuller and more pink hairs on more of the other buds, shes looking real sexy, LoL. 2-1 is coming along great too. today is the 3rd day for the clones and there still looking good. i give them a spray of rain water twice a day and i have my second gravity fed water system hooked up to keep water in the clone dome. things are going great.
im getting low on my GH florabloom and i really dont care to go to the hydro store so i think im gonna give this a try, schultz all purpose plant food 10-15-10, the numbers seem right for the flowering stage and i would still mix it with the jacks classic bloom and the bat guano, so we'll see what happens. its only $5 for an 8 oz bottle at home depot, gonna get some tomorrow to replace the GH stuff.
7-20/5 pm, its day 56 and the girls are both looking great, im more and more pumped everyday about the pink buds on molly and just cant wait, i got a feeling shes gonna be some really good shit. the twins are still looking good on day 4 and im really hoping these clones take, i just couldnt let the pink get away. 1-1 is really kinda in the shade and it has been raining alot here, i hope she makes it and i will be checking on her when i can. i went and got the schultz 10-15-10 plant food today and added it to my next jug of water to start using it right away. they also had some better gro products, one of which was a bloom booster with 15-35-15 numbers and many other essential minerals needed, it was also $5 for a bag and it was a powder mix, might get some soon and try it too. i also have been spraying the girls with a spray bottle i use to spray the clones with to keep them wet and i also added a couple drops of the schultz to the rain water. well its day 4 for the twins and there bright green, i didnt think i could do it since they were already flowering, but gumball said they should go back into vegging. im slowly working back up to 18/6 from 12/12. im going up an hour each day so tonight will be 15/9. by the time i get to 18/6, they should have a good root system and i want to veg them for about 40 more days after that. it wasnt really hard, i just cut 2 of the lowest branches off molly and dipped them into some rain water and then in the cloning powder. then i put them into the jiffy peat pellets. hopefully they will make it, i just couldnt let the pink get away,
7-21/5 pm, yesterday was 4 weeks of flowering for the girls and there still looking great. this is day 5 for the twin clones and there still bright green so i guess there still alive.
7-22/6 pm, day 58, i moved the plants around the box just to change the way the lights them. the girls are looking great and everything is still going good. the twins are hanging in there and appear to be doing ok, still bright green, no sign of roots yet tho. i did get another Y splitter so i could use 2 bulbs, 1 bright and 1 soft cfl. i have been looking at 150 watt hps lights, i think i would only need the 150 because of my limited space and only doing 2 plants at a time. it would be the only thing i would need to change in my box as it would work with everything else i already have, maybe have to work on the cooling a little. it would hook up and hang from the chains i already have in place. htg supply has a remote ballast model, and its only $85 with shipping. i would probably get a new box and redesign my fan setup for sure and i would assume i would want some kind of cooling for the hps light. the old box is kinda worn down from getting wet a couple times and has big lean to the left. but no biggie on that, there only $13 from u-haul.
7-24/6 pm, ok, its day 60 for the girls and there doing great. i cut a couple of the small leaves from molly around the buds that had trichs just starting on them and dried them out for little bit and WoW!! if this is any indication of what this stuff is gonna be like, well im happy as shit!! definitely couch lock high, i havent been getting high much lately as i dont have any, so this was a nice little buzz. man i cant wait!! the twins are still green so i am assuming that there still alive, today is day 8 for them. oh, and molly smells like a dam pine tree, i ran my fingers across her and it smells just like pine sap, thats cool!!
im for sure gonna make some hash out of the trimmings from these plants this time. i found these on ebay and i can get both for less that $25 shipped, a herb grinder and pollen press.
7-25/3:30 pm, its day 61 and the girls are doing great. since starting the schultz, it seems the buds are getting more plump, but just might be me with wishful thinking, LoL. but they sure are looking really sweet. the temp runs between 79 to 86 and the humidity is 35% to 45% which all seems good.
well the clones are still green after 9 days so i can only assume again that they are still alive and growing roots. i really want to get them into there own pots, but wont do so until i know there are roots. im up to 18/6 on the twins but might just go to 24 hours till i see roots? but over all, im very happy with the way everything is going,
7-26/4 pm, today is day 62 and things are going good, buds are budding and looking great, the smell is unreal when the lights go off, but i love it. well i put the clones in the soil today. i took a knife and made slits in the mesh like covering on the peat pellets and set them in the soil and gave them some water. lets hope they make it.
7-27/6 pm, things are going good. its day 63 and the girls are looking happy molly is so cool looking with pink and white hairs and 6 big buds are coming along great. 2-1 is filling in real nice to make 1 huge cola on the whole stalk.
the clones seem alright, but arent really growing any yet, i just hope they make it.
and, heres a couple pics of 1-1 from today, this is the 3rd female i moved from the box and planted outside. she is still alive, but all the flowers are gone and it hasnt really grown any, oh well.
7-28/5pm, its day 64 and its been 5 weeks of flowering and the girls look great. a little more frost forming on and around the buds.
some of the leaves are turning yellow on the clones.
7-30/6 pm, its day 66 and everything still looks great, heres the daily pics. day 13 for the clones.
8-1/8 pm, its day 68 and the girls look great, i do wish the buds were a little bigger tho. they dont seem to be as big as new bean was, but i guess its because of the different strains. the clones are 15 days today, there still hanging on.
8-2/5 pm, i really would like some side lighting, i think it would help the lower buds, something like 4 more bulbs, 2 front and 2 rear hanging from cords with Y's about half way down the plants. i think it would really help alot. i've done good tho with just the 6 bulbs up top, thats why i put the strings on molly to get more light down in the plant.
today is day 69, i was just looking closer at the plants and molly has more buds all over inside her, about 4 other nice shoots with 4 more nice buds. the buds are nowhere near the size that new bean had, but im sure its gonna be good bud. 2-1 is really getting soild all the way up the stalk, filling in real nice. the stalk is huge on her for being only 15" tall from the soil. will be 1 nice soild bud!! i really have to stop topping them so soon, maybe give them a few more nodes to get a litlle more height out of them. i can get maybe another foot out of the plants.
well the clones are 16 days old today and there kinda just still there. there not doing anything, i'd hate to give up on them, but i could start some more seeds now and get some plants going, not sure what im gonna do yet?
8-3/4 pm, its day 70 and its been 6 weeks of flowering. both the girls look great and im guessing about 4 to 5 more weeks and they should be ready. i want them to get as plump as possible. this time, i wont keep testing buds, i'll just try 1 near the end and thats it. i think i'll flush like the last week and a half, that should be like 4 waterings. btw, molly is only 16" tall and topped just right, but i should go a little higher next time.
8-6/4 pm, its day 73 for the girls and thier doing great. the buds on molly are looking really nice.
some good news, the clones are coming to life!! both have new growth on them after 2 feedings with nutes. that makes me happy, so the pink will live on.
8-7/5 pm, its day 74 and molly looks kinda droopy, not sure what i did wrong here, too much water? the clones look good at day 20.
8-8/5 pm, its day 75 and i think i didnt water molly enough, i checked the soil and it was very dry. i always thought i watered to much, not sure how i missed this. 2-1 soil is always moist, she doesnt drink near the water molly does. some of the leaves are dry and brittle and brown, i hope its the water thing. the clones are showing even more growth, i think they'll both make it.
8-9/2 pm, day 76, molly still doesnt look good, more drying/brittleness of the leaves and just very droopy, i tested the ph and its 6.2 and thats with the nutes. the lights are where they have always been. and the temp is around 86 degrees with the humidity at 32%. it goes down to 79 with the lights off and the humidity at 40%. my nute mix might have been a little strong and its just catching up now. 2-1 is doing fine, she shows no signs of any of the things going on with molly. and the clones are looking great, more and more new growth.i have moved the lights up a couple inches although i dont think thats the problem, the temp at the bottom of the plant is only 82 degrees. the light is nowhere near the leaves that are drying out. the more i think about it, the more i think its the nutes being to strong with all the shit i mix together. i am gonna give her just straight rain water for now
8-10/3 pm, so the clones from molly have really taken off in the last few days, they are now 23 days old and looking real good. one thing with clones is you have to be patient with them, the first 2 weeks they do nothing and just sit there, then they really take off if they have rooted. looks like these 2 will make it. this was my first attempt at cloning. thanks again gumball!!
molly has been sick for a few days and im not really sure why, but i think i used to much nutes, giving her just straight rain water for now and she looked a little better today. the leaves are like drying out and turning brittle, my ph is 6.2/6.4 with or without nutes, checked it twice both ways vs the 8.0 tap water. so im just not sure whats going on. the pic of the leaf is from the bottom of the plant, so im pretty sure its not heat from the lights, the temp down there is only 82 degrees and 86 to 88 in the box overall, might just be to hot for this strain??
2-1 is doing fine, at just 16", she is sure to be one nice big bud when she is done.
8-11/4 pm, its day 78, molly still looks the same, i took some of the dead leaves off that just pulled off real easy, still giving her just straight rain water for now. 2-1 is doing fine. yesterday was 7 weeks of flowering. day 24 for the clones and looking good.
8-12/6 pm, its day 79 and molly looks the same, there are still leaves turning brown all over her, but there are also green leaves all over, its kinda weird. i hope she hangs in there for about 2 more weeks and it will be ok. 2-1 is filling in nice, the pic is the bottom of the plant and she is soild all the way up. there are some brown leaves on her too, but nowhere near as bad as molly. i took a jug that was half full of 1/2 strenght nutes and mixed in some straight rain water to delute it down some. i will give them both this jug till its gone and then go back to flushing them to get ready for picking. the clones are looking really nice, lots of new green shoots everywhere. the clones are getting a very light dose of vegging nutes and that has really brought them to life. i still spray them 1 or 2 times a day also.
8-13/6 pm, its day 80. molly looks greener but still has the brown leaves also. 2-1 is, well, 2-1, shes just growing along.
the clones are great, bright green and growing fine.
well till i have extra cash to buy seeds, all i have is my grab bag box of seeds ive saved from here and there, everything ive grown so far has been random bag seeds. as i said before, ive been real lucky with getting females. 6 seeds germed total for 2 grows, 1st grow, 1 male and 1 female which was new bean. 2nd grow, 4 seeds, 1 didnt take, and 3 females. 1-1 which is out in the woods (need to check on her, its been a while) and the 2 girls i have growing now. i will do the two clones for the 3rd grow, but it sure would be nice to get some really good strain. i would like to get 3 different fem seeds and do that for my 4th grow, we'll see.
8-14/5 pm, day 81 for the girls, no changes really, most of molly's fan leaves are gone or are turning brown, she'll be easy to trim up the buds. i was gonna save all the cuttings to make hash, butt i think i'll skip it again this time, theres just not enough cuttings and leaves. plus i really dont have the extra money to buy the grinder and hash press. its all good tho.
the clones are doing great, and getting bigger everyday. they are on a 1/4 strenght nute mix they get every 3rd day along with still getting sprayed twice a day with just rain water. there doing good for only having 2 23 watt bulbs, i would still like to get 2 more Y splitters and 2 more bright bulbs for the veg box, but what i have will have to do for now.
ok, so i cut a small bud off each plant for testing, and of course i got them mixed up so i dont know which is which. the first one i tested was an uppity high as i did a bunch of work on my truck. now the 2nd one i just smoke some of is more stoney cause like a couple hits and im just chillin layin on the bed writing this with my eyes half closed. i will probably take 1 more small one from each and figure out which ones which, but its nice to know the 2 are different highs.
thanks gumball and no, the gravity fed water system is just a gallon milk jug, some 1/4" hose and fittings and a on/off valve. i control how much water they get. when i water, they share about a 5th of a gallon because i get about 5 waterings per gallon, so it lasts about a week or so. i always have 2 jugs already mixed to just swap out the jugs. molly is for sure a very different strain with the pink hairs and pine smell, not just some reg or mid shit. dont really know how i got that? 2-1 is just reg strain, i just screwed up the topping 3 times on her. but either way, yes, i will have some good smoke for a while.
8-15/3 pm, its day 82 for the girls and molly has hardly any fan leaves left on her and most of the ones that are left are brown, but the buds still look great. there is no more pink on molly, all the pistals are either white or turning brown, i cant wait.
the clones are 28 days old now and i think the plan will work out right as far as getting them in the flowering box in about 2 weeks. i plan on putting them in there and running the lights at 18/6 for a couple weeks to try an get some size out of them. i will use the veg box to dry the buds from molly and 2-1. then maybe take a couple more clones from the old clones while they are still vegging with more light. after i take a couple, i'll switch the lights to 12/12 and start flowering on 3-1 and 3-2 and the clones will go straight into 18/6 (maybe 20/4 for the first couple weeks) this time since i dont have to reveg them.
8-16/6 pm, day 83 and the girls are doing good, i think 2-1 is getting close as most of the trichs are cloudy now with 1 or 2 amber ones. molly still has mostly clear to cloudy on her. i gave them the last of the nute mix jug and now with go with just straight rain water to start flushing in the next couple days. 2 gallons should take me right up to havest time.
the clones are coming along real nice with more green sprouts. they are getting taller at about 6" now. 3-2 has 2 tops already from where i cut the little bud off. 3-1 has branches just shooting out everywhere and 1 main top so far. i really hope these girls make it as they will be my next grow.
8-17/3:30 pm, its day 84 and it been 8 weeks of flowering, no change in the girls and watching the trichs close. giving them straight rain water now for flushing.
the clones are are 30 days old today and looking right, cant wait to harvest and get these 2 girls in the big box and really let them grow some.
8-18/11 pm, day 85 and things are still the same, getting close now, 2-1 should be done in about a week, molly a little longer. the clones are looking great.
ok, now the buzz on the buds i picked. the bud from molly has a good tatse, kinda minty/piney but the high is more heady and up. it kinda makes you smile. but i dont like it. i rather have it more of a body high and stoney and couchlock like 2-1. to bad 2-1 isnt bigger, i dont expect that much off 1 short skinny 16" stalk, kinda sucks she didnt top right and have more to give. the grow has gone good, but im not happy with the weed nor the amount im gonna get. new bean was much better as far as high and the amount i got. the buds were huge. we'll see what the final numbers are when its all done. and im really happy i did the clones, but its off molly and i dont like the buzz from her. not sure what i wanna do now????
8-19/6 pm, well i had very good results with the first grow, 1 plant and i got just over 2 oz's, not sure what i will get from this one, but i wont grow anymore sativa. my box is 21"x24"x48" and its perfect for 2 plants maybe 4 with some more lights, but i'll stick with 2. i only veg for like 15 days then switch the lights to 12/12 to start showing sex and begin flowering. the next grow from seeds, i will veg a little longer.

its day 86 for the girls, molly has some amber trichs, but most are still clear to cloudy, almost all the leaves are gone now. 2-1 is doing fine, wont be long, she has mostly cloudy trichs.

8-21/3 pm, they are almost through their first jug of straight water now. i figure about 2 or 3 more gallons in the time thats left. then 24/48 hours of dark and its pickin time.
day 88, heres the pics.
the clones are unreal, they just keep getting bigger and they both already have 2 main shoots.
6 pm, so i was just checking out the plants and looking close at molly with a scope and its like the buds are dead. all the trichs are cloudy/milky with a few amber ones here and there. all the fan leaves are dead and the brown hairs just fall off along with the dead brown leaves, but there is also new growth at the tip of each of the 6 main buds. i cut one of the buds off and its hanging up to dry, but its really pretty dry already. it weighed 7.5 grams right off the plant. i also cut a small bud off 2-1, most of the trichs are cloudy on her too. the big bud will go in a jar tomorrow as im sure it will be dried out by then. the other 2 are to smoke.
8-22/5:30 pm, its day 89 for the girls and i'll just be glad when this grow is done. the plants look the same, molly is just so dry. i cant wait to cut 2-1 down, dry and cure it, this will be some good smoke. the clones look good, man im just so bummed that there from molly tho. i can put them in the flowering box and finish them, or i could wait and hope to get the good seeds. not sure what i wanna do yet. the clones are 35 days today and showing preflowers on the upper branches so there ready to go. the big bud from molly is in a jar curing, it weighed 4.6 grams today, down from 7.5 yesterday.
8-23/4 pm, its day 90 and now im really confused, 2 of molly's main buds have a lot of new growth with new white hairs coming out but all the leaves are dead, dam i'll be glad when shes done. 2-1 as you can see in the pic didnt have any branches but those 2 with a nice bud on each one and lots of others on the stalk, no branches, they just grew right of the stalk??? there was nothing to take for cloning.the clones look great at day 36 but as i said, there from molly and i really dont want them, the pink was a big let down. it might get better with some curing so thats why i havent giving up on the clones yet. if i decide not to finish the clones for the next grow and dont get the good seeds, its back to the box o seeds and hope i dont pick molly seeds again. i think molly was the tiger stripe seeds? the box has like 5 or 6 different types of bag seeds i save from buds i got here and there. man another new bean would be nice, that was some pretty good stuff. it would take like 35 days to germ and grow them enough to see the sex, so im kinda stumped right now as to what to do.
8-24/4 pm, day 91, so i cut 2-1 down, when i looked today, there were mostly amber thichs, this happened real fast like within a couple days so i guess she was ready. i didnt weigh it, its all drying and will go in jars for a week or so. i will get a final weight on all the buds from her then. 2-1 had a small rootball so i guess thats why she didnt get that big. R.I.P. 2-1. molly is all alone in the box now so i can do the 36 hours of dark before i cut her down whenever she is ready. a couple more flushings and she should be done. the trichs are mostly cloudy/milky on her right now. the clones are looking good at day 37 and still putting out new growth everyday. i cleaned the box out some of all the dead leaves and dirt. 1-1 is gone, somebody got her i guess, theres nothing there, oh well. she was just inside that opening in the bushes and to the left, not really good light but you couldnt see her from that alley. i just cut some of the buds off molly also, there very dry, brown hairs just falling off, and the trichs are amber. so it wont be long for the rest. all thats left now are the 5 main buds. today is 9 weeks of flowering.
8-25/1 pm, well its day 92 and now molly is gone, R.I.P. molly, but she will live on through the clones. i will just keep this thread going for these 2 girls since there from molly. all the buds are either drying or curing right now in the mutipurpose veg/clone/drying box. the big bud in the middle is the top from 2-1 and the rest are from molly.
the clones are 38 days old today and in the flowering box now and i reset the timer for 18/6 to try an get them a little bigger. no word on the seeds so i guess i have to keep these girls going for now. i still have mixed feelings about finishing these girls, i hope the bud gets better with the curing. i did read up some on sativas and heres a little bit from that.
i didnt really want 1-1, but i did want to see it grow up in the wild. there is no sign of her at all, no hole in the ground or anything. it has been raining a lot here so that might have filled the hole in where she was, but she is gone.
8-26/1 pm, its day 39 for the clones, they are in the big box and getting plenty of light now. i still have mixed feelings about them, but have nothing else to grow right now. im going through the seed box and picking a couple more good girls to grow right now. all the buds are still in the box drying and curing, i will give a final weight soon, this will be sad.
8-28/3 pm, aleen bud: ok got new link.lol..and these girls are looking good also!makes me want to start new grow NOW !!!!!cool deal allen, thanks, but there clones of molly and the bud just isnt that great, big disappointment, but at least i know i can clone now. gumball: you need to cut about 4 inches off the main stem. whether you clone that or not is up to you. i have a feeling they will stretch a lot with that height already.yeah i was thinking the same thing and no i dont want to keep them. as i said above, the pink was a big let down. and on top of that, im having problems with my computer power supply, it just keeps cutting off, when i unplug it and plug it back in, it works for a little bit and cuts off again. without it running all the 12v fans, the box gets up in the low 90's, with it, it stays at 86. it was only $12 on ebay and i have looked at getting another for about the same price on there. that is one thing will have to have to keep growing right now. now as far these 2 girls, i hate to keep them going when i know the buds just arent any good, i dont know why? it sure looks good. im really not sure what to do at this time, kinda bummed.
4 pm, day 41 for the clones. they look real good now and have white hairs shooting out all over, i think they want to start flowering. if i top them again, they should get real bushy and have lots of bud sites. then let them veg and recover for about another week, that will put them at about day 48. molly went right 9 weeks of flowering.
now, i just cut a chunk from the molly bud that has been in a jar for about a week, took 3 hits and got a decent body high, my body feels real heavy, so i guess its ok smoke. i will do tests with the 2-1 bud. so far, its been disapointing also. its more of a sleepy stone, but not very strong. nether compare to new bean, wish i could find those seeds again.
heres some pics of the buds, the first one is of the main top from 2-1 that has been drying for a few days. not bad for as short as she was and looks pretty, to bad it sucks. the next two are the first bud from molly that has been in the jar that i just smoked. as you can see, it didnt lose to much weight after a week from 4.6 to 3.4, it was that dry off the plant. im guessing the one from 2-1 weighed around 14 g's or so when i cut it the other day.
5 pm, ok, so i just cut 2 new clones from the old clones and heres what i did.
step 1: cut the 2 bigger tops from each of the old clones.
step 2: i put 2 jiffy peat pellets in rain water to expand and i laid the clones in the water to stay fresh.
step 3: with the pellets expanded, i sprayed the clones to get the stems good and soaked.
step 4: then i took each clone and dipped it in the schultz take root powder and got a good amount on the stem.
step 5: i made a hole in the middle of the peat and put the cutting down in the hole and pushed the top around the stem to get a good fit.
step 6: i then sprayed the clones with water and put some more in the tray and put them in the under the lights with the other clones.
and there you have it, 2 new clones. should be able to tell in about 10 days if they take and start rooting. so molly lives on again. i dont know why im keeping this going but this is a good learning tool on how to do this.
8-30/4:20 pm, its day 43 for the girls (the old clones will be named soon) and they have more new growth coming from them now, they look great. i got the temp down to 88 right now with reworking some of the fans. none of of the smallm 80mm 12v fans are running right now. i had to change the lower 6" intake fan that had stopped working also, everything kinda went at once. the new computer power supply should be here by the end of the week, that will let me have the 2 80mm fans in the veg box going and the 4 12v fans in the big box running again. those little 80mm fans really help with cooling when placed in the right spot. i have the 6" fan in the big box running from a printer power supply i had for now and 1 80mm exhaust fan running in the veg box off a extra 5v phone charger i had, it is all working alright for now. its day 3 for the new clones and there still bright green, looking good so far.

and i'd say another 7 grams that i've smoked so far here and there and test buds if that.
very disapointing for 2 plants.
remember, new bean had 52.7 grams total from just the one plant and was much better bud, oh well.
9-3/6 pm, ok, so i slacked off the last couple days, the 2 girls are doing just fine and tonight i will switch them to 12/12. the other 2 clones i took were kinda limp, so i decided not to finish them. i will just keep the 2 girls going for now. well ive been smoking the buds for a week now and its just ok, wish it would have been stronger like new bean, but better than nothing.
9-4/7 pm, its day 48 for the girls and there doing great, lots of new growth and bright green. i made a milder strenght nute mix this time for them so we'll see if that helps this strain out. the bud really is getting better as it ages. im guessing about 50 to 60 more days to get buds on these girls harvest them from how long molly took to flower and pick. by that time, i hope to have some good seeds up and going. i found a place that has pick and mix seeds for $6 to $12 each for some pretty good ones and shipping is only $7, figure its worth a shot.
the 2 girls i have going right now are 2 clones that i had to reveg from about 3 weeks of flowering. they are getting nice and bushy tho and i just put them into 12/12 starting last night. i play with the light height all the time moving it up and down, im never happy where its at. as far as the reflective stuff goes, im happy with what i got, but the bathroom deal sounds pretty cool. once i get my computer power supply, i'll get my temps back down to the low 80's, hope it comes monday. the reason the plants look so small is because ive topped them like 3 times now, once to cut the main flower off when i cloned them, and twice now to get them this bushy and fill out before 12/12. these girls are pretty bushy so i might just let them go for a bit and see what they do.
9-6/4 pm, ive used these 6 bulbs for 3 grows now. there are 5 - 23 watt 2700k and 1 - 23 6500k. i usually only veg for like 15 days, then switch from 18/6 to 12/12 to start flowering, but since these were clones, they have been vegging for 48 days. they were in my veg box while my last grow was finishing up with 1 - 23 watt 2700k and 1 - 6500k till day 37, then went into the flowering box with the 6 bulbs and are now on 12/12.
its day 50 for the girls and there still looking great. i think i need to transplant now before i get to far into flowering, although the rootball from molly wasnt really that big and i think could just leave them in these pots. not sure yet on that, but im sure as some of you have read, i change my mind alot. i did lower the light a little and the temp is still at 86 now, still waiting on the new power supply, but really dont need it at this time.
9-7/3 pm, its day 51 and the 4th day of 12/12. since the girls were topped a couple times already, from here on out, i will just let them grow on there own. i also named the girls, Venus and Raven, did a search on strange female names and thats what i came up with.
5 pm, so i decided not to transplant the girls. i did add more soil to the pots, i took each pot and rolled it in my hands to loosen up the soil. i then gently lifted the plant up out of the pot and added soil to the bottom and put the plant back in. then i dropped the pot on the ground to settle the soil and added just a little more to the top of the pot so that the plant is now all the way at the top of the pot. something i did notice in doing this was the jiffy peat pellet mesh is still there. i had cut slits to help let the roots get out and into the soil. so i pulled off as much as i could and was able to rip off most of it, im sure there is still more at the bottom of it. makes me wonder though if i had not cut the slits, if the roots would have been able to get out? this was the first time i had used these and they work great for starting the clones in, just not sure about that mesh crap around them.
9-8/8 pm, well its day 52, venus and raven are looking great, they should be really happy with the lower temps due to the fact that i got my new power supply!!! the temp is down to a chilly 82 now, LoL. i raised venus up just a little to be at the same height under the lights as raven. i have my box all nice and neat now and everything is all good in the leaning u-haul grand wardrobe box.
now heres how i wired the new 12v computer power supply.
first i laid out everything i needed, see pics. the first thing you have to do is cut the green wire from the plug with 20 or 24 wires. this wire is the constant on power wire and the power supply will not work without doing this!! cut a black wire from the same harness and connect to the green wire, even if the unit has an external on/off switch you must do this for the unit to work!! you can now plug in the unit and the fan in the unit should start.now fine one of the flat 4 prong plugs and connect a 12v computer fan to it. the fan should start working. on most power units, there are 4 of these plugs, but some will just be a jumper from another. my guess is, if you hook up 2 fans to 2 of the plugs off the same line, each fan will only run at half speed due to splitting the single 12v wire. on most units, the yellow wires are the 12v wires, red wires are only 5v but can still be used, your fans will just run at a slower speed due to less voltage. i think the orange wires are 3.5v. im not sure if you can use 2 colors like orange and red together to make 8.5 volts. now, there are other yellow wires with different plugs on the ends. i cut the extra flat 4 prong plugs off the doubled ones and connected them to the extra yellow wires. this gives me 5 total 12v single plugs, enough to run all my 12v fans. i will take the fan out of the old power supply, clean it up and use it in my veg box. those 2 fans will run off 2 12v power adapters i had from an old printer and an old scanner. on these, as far as i know, the wire with the white stripe will be the positive wire and go to the red or yellow wire on the 12v fan. then black wire to black wire. 1 of the 2 fans in there broke a blade off and dam that thing made some noise, so in the garbage it went. i did notice when i took the cover off to get the fan out of the power supply that this was filled with dust. i mean full!! this is the thing that killed the unit i guess. i live in a house and we have had the ac on for months now and i just dont understand where all this dam dust comes from. so any ways, there you have it, how to use a computer power supply for running 12v fans. now, i am not an electrician and this can be very dangerous as in getting shocked. so be very careful and make sure you tape up all connections and bare wires and you should have no problems. these units are great for this and there real cheap. this one was just 12.99 with shipping on ebay and it is brand new. hope this helps anyone who has been wanting use one of these but not sure how to make it work.
9-9/2 pm, day 53 for the girls and it been 6 days of 12/12. the girls are almost through their first jug of flowering nutes, that comes out to 5 waterings per gallon over about 9 days. theres plenty of new growth everyday and the girls are bright green and very healthy looking. there are more white hairs shooting out all over them.
9-10/8 pm, its day 54 and its been 1 week of 12/12 for flowering. cant wait to start seeing some buds, wonder if they'll be pink again?
9 pm, since they were revegged, there was always some hairs, but now, there like popping out everywhere!! i was just reading your thread about the lights. i know i read/have somewhere that you want a mixed spectrum, i just cant find it right now, if im not mistaken, it would be 3 2700k's and 1 55/6500k for every 4 bulbs. i use 1 6500k and 1 2700k bulb in my veg box cause when i do veg, its only for 15 to 20 days. i want to get 2 more Y splitter and some more bulbs for the veg and it would be 2 more 6500k's for the 3 and 1 thing. i know ive read many different places about mixing the spectrum, just didnt want to get all caught up with it your thread. my 6 bulb fixture has 5 2700k and 1 6500k and works just fine.
9-11/5 pm, day 55, the girls are still looking very happy. i hope these things bud though. i got an idea last night talking about the bulbs. i took the 2 bulbs and the Y from the veg box and put it on the light bar in the flowering box. going to home depot in a few to get another Y and then i'll have 8 bulbs on the girls. that will be 6 2700k's and 2 6500k's total. then when i decide to start some new plants in the veg box, i'll take the 2 center Y's from the flower box and i'll have 4 bulbs in the veg box and all i'll need to get is 2 more bulbs and i'll be back to 6 again in the flower box. then when im done vegging and they go in the flower box, just swap the Y's back and i'll have 8 in there for flowering again.
hope that all made sense. i hope to have some extra money soon to get all the Y's and bulbs i need to have both boxes with all the lights working this way. then i could do clones from the plants when they go into the flowering box and keep real good shit going. and of course some good seeds to do this with!!
7:30 pm, ok, i got the new Y and now have 8 bulbs in there for the girls. my second 6" 12v took a shit last night so i took it out and swapped out the 80mm fan for the 90mm fan from the old power supply. the temp is still 82 even with more bulbs and the other fan gone, so all is good again. the big fan hole works good for a passive intake.
as for the veg box, all i need is 3 Y's and 4 bulbs to finish my plan, all of that will be like $17. but that will have to wait a while. plus i dont need it right now any ways. the old 80mm fan i swapped with the 90mm is now in the veg box to replace the 1 with a broken blade, so i now have 2 fans again for exhaust with plugs that will run off the new power supply that still has 2 open plugs.
8:30 pm, the new bilb setup is pretty cool looking. when i was just home depot, i was looking at the fixtures and they have these in 4 and 6 bulbbers too. i dont have that kinda room, but dam, the things you could do with them. since i dont have any plans right now for after this grow, im gonna let them go as long as they need to be right when its time to harvest. my sister told me today that when i go to sarsota for the dog job, that shes not gonna take care of any plants i have, so i told her i wouldnt start anything else for now. i can always take the u-haul grow box with me tho, i mean it is a moving box. one thing, when the lights go out, i get that smell again and its great, kinda sweet/pine smell. like i just sprayed pine air freshener.
9-12/3 pm, its day 56 and the girls are 8 weeks old today, i still cant believe i was sucessful with cloning, the girls look great. theres signs of buds starting so we'll see in a couple days. the plants are just over a foot tall now. the temp has settle in at 84 with the extra bulbs in the box.
9-13/7 pm, its day 57 for venus and raven and the buds are starting to pop. there still bright green and looking sexy. hey johnny, these are the clones from molly and everything is still the same. i still use the cheap hyponix soil, and all the same nutes with the gravity fed water jug. i water every 2nd or 3rd day. i did add the schultz for this grow and when i grew molly and 2-1. its says to add 7 drops per qt. but i only put 7 drops per gallon now. the light bar is $9.99 at lowes or home depot for the 3 hole one. all you do is get a cheap extension cord for 99 cent and cut the one end off and hook it the fixture which comes with the little screwcaps to connect the wires and it done.
9-14/1:30 pm, day 58 and things look great, both the girls are growing very nice and bud sites are popping up all over raven. venus has 1 tall shoot, but the rest of her is a little behind. im sure she will be ok though. they are drinking alot of juice, im watering about everyday again and raven seems to dry up a bit quicker than venus. it also appears that the hairs are gonna be pink again, guess its the strain.
9-15/3 pm, its day 59 and the girls are really thirsty, there drinking juice everyday now, the soil dries out. the temp bounces back and forth between 84 and 86, im happy with that. heres some pics, there not the best, but the bright green spots are all the bud sites. the buds are forming now and the pink hairs are coming in nice on them. hope maybe they will be a little more dense this time. dam, still so long to go.
9-17/3 pm, its day 61 and 2 weeks of 12/12 flowering now, raven is looking great with bud sites everywhere and venus has a few good shoots coming in. only 6 to 7 weeks to go. 11 pm, these are clones of molly, and she had pink buds also, the pink goes away after the buds form a little more. since all my seeds were bag seeds i got from around here, im not sure what strain it is or where i got it, but it sure does look cool and smell good,
9-19/3 pm, day 63 for the girls, wish it was 63 of flowering, but just a couple days past 2 weeks. venus has 1 tall shoot and the rest are all about the same height, the shoot is the same as raven. guess the rest of the plant just never caught up, they do have bud sites though. i wish i would have taken a little more care in topping these girls, it worked, i just didnt get the same affects from both as far as height, still learning. raven has some of her top fan leaves that are drooping. i had let the soil dry out on both and then yesterday i flooded them. i need to get the watering thing figured out. i think thats been my biggest problem on all my grows.
9-21/3 pm, its day 65 for the girls and there doing ok, just need to get them to perk up a little and get them back on track. i added some worm casing to the soil to get some N in there and flushed with straight rain water. i thought i mixed it a little milder this time, guess i didnt, LoL. it hasnt rained in a while here and im getting low on rain water, this sucks!! that one dam branch is so much taller than the rest, but its to late to cut it off now, its full of buds. it messes with my light height.
9-22/3:30 pm, its day 66 and the girls are looking better since the flush, guess i didnt make the last batch of nutes mild enough. man that shoot is bothering me so bad on venus, but i hate to trim her down now, it grows like an inch everyday and i have to keep raising the lights just for that one shoot. i think i will put a string around it and pull it down a little. ok, i did it, i tied down the branch. so now thats venus on the left and raven on the right. its not how i wanted to do this, the branch is pulled down back through the plant, but i was able to lower the light back down about 2".
9-23/8 pm, its day 67 and the girls are looking good. the buds are really taking off and starting to form real nice. the branch on venus has already turned up towards the light again after being tied down. venus is back on the right and raven on the left. the temp is holding steady at 84/86 and the humidity bounces between 30 and 40% when the lights are on and off. im really getting worried about the rain water, im down to 2 gallons and its been a while since it has rained. might get some this weekend, lets hope.
7:30 pm, i going to wait a little longer this time till i have more amber thrichs for sure, and i guess this round would be a good time to do the 24 hours of dark at the end, maybe 36 hours. i will still flush at 2 weeks to go, just gotta make sure im at 2 weeks to go when i do. heres my nute lineup again, just mixed a new batch.
1/4 teaspoon bat guano 0-7-0
1/4 teaspoon jacks big bloom 10-30-20
7 drops of schultz 10-15-10
1/4 teaspoon florabloom 0-5-4
thats for 1 gallon of juice, ph is 6.5. the reason im using the schultz and bat guano is that im low on jacks and florabloom. so im just trying to stretch it all out a little. i mean it works good so im not gonna change anything there. i am going to only give them nutes like every other watering, we'll see how that works.
9-24/4 pm, its day 68 and 3 weeks of flowering. the girls look good but theres a few leaves that dont, still might be recovering from maybe over fert? but the buds are looking great and im happy with everything so far for being clones. i use that schultz is for flowering because of the high "P". that
is my flowering line up, but hell, if it works for vegging, might have to try that. i use jacks classic, GH floragrow, and worm casing for vegging with a couple drops of ortho upstart. i only veg for 15 to 20 days unless there clones. both plants have perked up, but a few leaves and brown and crispy as you can see in the pic.
9-26/1 pm, its day 70 and i cant believe how much they have grown in just 14 days, the one pic is from day 56 compared to today. they have really filled in and theres buds everywhere. that one pic is the bottom of venus, all kind of new growth and little buds. with this strain, the buds are kinda small and very fluffy and light. it burns very fast. the high is alright.
9-27/5 pm, day 71 and everything is coming along great. theres still a little bit of browning on a few leaves on both plants so im sure its something im doing. just not sure what im missing. my rain water is the first pic, it read about 6.5, the second pic is the rain water and my helter skelter nute mix which is about 6.8. when i started, the reading was about 6.2. i tested everything with a fresh water ph test kit. believe it or not, the ph/light/moisture meter reads just under 7 when i stick the probes into the soil. i have a whole bottle of ph down so maybe i should try to lower it some. i got it down to like 6.1/6.2, a little more towards the yellow, it took 10 drops of ph down for the gallon. so we'll see if that helps. i know i have it in my notes somewhere that with soil, you want 6.2 to 6.5 i think. i need to get all this right for when i get those good seeds. overall, the plants do really look good and the buds are forming real nice.
9-28/4 pm, day 72 and the girls are looking better today, alot of the leaves are turning greener now that the ph is back down some. i have watered them twice since yesterday and it really semms to have brighten them up. i also cut a few of the real bad looking leaves off that were dried up and brown. there still growing even though there flowering, there are so many bud sites.
9-29/4 pm, day 73, the girls have really come back nice now that the ph is adjusted right. still no rain, the east coast is getting hammered with the storm but were sunny and dry over here with really no rain in the forcast. i might have to use a couple jugs of tap water and knock the ph down alot to get it right. well just had a thought, we have reclaimed water, so i just checked that and it was so dark blue after the test, about 8 or higher, so thats out. the tap water is about 7.2 i just checked, so i guess i'll try and get it down and use that.
5:30, no sooner did i post, it started raining!! real good downpour, so now i have 7 1/2 gallons of fresh rain water that ph' at about 6.2, perfect!! when i add nutes, it should go to about 6.5, but i'll check to make sure. in the pic, you can see the difference between tap water, on the right and rain water on the left, 6.2 compared to high 7, a big difference!! i pulled the branch on raven down some and i was able to lower the lights a couple more inches. this will have to do for now as these girls are getting so bushy, i just dont have the room to tie down all the branches as i would like. i was just sitting here and i smoked a bowl of molly bud and i noticed that the buzz from these main colas is pretty good, kind of minty tasting and real stoney, my body feels heavy and my eyes are half closed. so i guess its not that bad after all.
10-1/5 pm, its day 75 and 4 weeks of flowering. remember, these were clones and took more time to root and veg. if they would have been from seeds, they would almost be ready for harvest. the girls are looking real nice now after a couple days of getting the ph back on track. still a few brown tips but way better than just a few days ago. i think they also stopped drinking while they were "sick" as the soil wasnt drying up every day or so. now its back to drying up everyday again. the smell is unreal when the lights go off at 8 pm.
10-3/4 pm, well it day 77, 11 weeks of growing for the clones. this was a good learning cruve for doing clones, but it takes so much longer. im still looking at least another 6 weeks till these girls are done, so thats gonna be over 17 weeks and thats just to long for me. i would rather just start from seeds, but i am glad i did this with cloning. the girls look great and seem to be doing fine, the buds are so cool looking.
heres a few comparison pics, the first one is of these clones at 30 days, then molly and 2-1 at 30 days, and the last was my first grow, new bean at 30 days. i just thought it was to soon to put them into 12/12 as i did with the others. the lights got switched between 15 to 20 days to start sexing and flowering since i didn't know which were females as all have been bag seeds. i started counting flowering days at day 30 on all my previous grows when they showed sex and pistils. the clones went to 12/12 on day 48, the last pic, they were real slow at growing tho. they took about 10 days to start showing roots and went into the pots with soil. i believe this strain to be mostly sativa so im gonna let them go just a little longer than i did with molly. she went 9 weeks of flowering and might have been cut a couple weeks to soon. i did want to veg these 2 a little longer any ways, i felt they needed to grow more before i switched the lights on them. i have no problem with doing clones again, just with some better fem seeds when i can get them.
10-4/3 pm, its day 78 for the girls. the buds are coming in real nice, but i still have some browning on some of the leaves. the ph is at 6.5 and im using a real mild nute mix, i dont know, as long as the buds are ok.
8 pm, i just tied down all 4 of the main colas of raven to try an get more light on the her. on venus, i tied the main stock on the other side to pull agaist her and then pulled the main cola down a little more. i lowered the light down a little more after i took the pics.
10-5/5 pm, heres the girls at day 79, everything is going smooth right now 4 1/2 weeks into flowering. ive been going back and forth on the nutes and plain water, seems to be working out ok so far.
10-8/3 pm, well its day 82 and 5 weeks of flowering, the buds look great but im still getting brown leaves, i have no idea what it is. although ive gotten them on all my grows, it just seems a little worse on this one. i dont know, they are still growing fine. im gonna mix up a new jug of nute and im gonna add a full scoop jacks bloom and the bat guano this time and see what happens. all i can do is try it.
10-11/3 pm, day 85 for the girls and there doing good, still getting brown leaves. i was trying to get a couple of the buds to point more towards the lights and i could feel when i kinda snapped the stems so i put paint sticks to hold them up, hope they will be ok, guess i'll know in a few days.
1:30 am, well, im not doing anything right now, gonna just finish these out, they'll be ok. but maybe try the FF in the future. i know dirt isnt just dirt, but ive done ok with my cheap soil, i dont think thats been my problem, but would be nice to have everything right for when i get those good seeds. i do use my liquid test kit more now, but still get the same brown leaves no matter what i do here lately. just dont get what im missing, but i'll figure it out. its getting close to going to work with the dogs, if i dont go to texas and stay here, its on!! im getting the most mac daddy shit i can to grow. so, its gotta be right, but will still be in the ghetto u-haul grow box. i keep reading about ph being 5.8 and 6.5, which is right for soil? i didnt break the stems, just barely snapped, amost like pinching,
10-12/6 pm, its day 86, 5 1/2 weeks of flowering, buds look good, branches are ok, and leaves are still brown. temps and humidity are great, i think. i was also reading about sativa strains, and if thats what this is, then the buds should be picked when they are clear to milky. if thats true, the buds on molly may have gone to far, but they went like 9 weeks. i was going for a more stone than high. also, the buds were dried out so bad. all i know is i'll be glad when im done with these and this strain. so now im not sure when i should harvest. heres some pics of venus and raven from today. did some more ph reading and it seems like 6.5 to 7.0 is the way to go with soil.
10-14/3 pm, day 88 for the girls. raven still has a bunch of brown leaves, but venus has really come back nice with just a few brown tips here and there. she looks real good with bright green leaves and her buds have nice healthy white hairs with a few that are still pink. this confuses me more now since both plants have the same soil, nutes and watering schedule. i just ph'd my new jug of rain water and its right at 6.0, so 3 drops of up and it was 6.8 and thats what i just watered them with. i need to make a new jug of nute mix and i will check that when i do.
10-15/5 pm, ok, its day 89 and its been 6 weeks of flowering. same on the plants though, raven, brown leaves and venus looking real good. i think about 4 more weeks, that will be 10 weeks of flowering so thats my goal. its also 3 more weeks than molly. maybe they'll turn out better this time. i did notice that i took a few hit before i went to lowes and driving along relized how good of a buzz i had, dont get that same feeling just laying around the house.
now on to lowes, they didnt have the coco coir. i know i seen it there about 6 months ago, but they said they never carried it, oh well. i did check out some soil though. the pics are of jungle growth, one is pro mix and the other is the same with moisture control. its got pine bark, canadian sphagnum peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, horticulture grade hardwood charcoal, trace elements, and natural minerals. all the good stuff for a good marijuana mix, but does have some low doses of nutes too. 0.22-0.11-0.18 on the N-P-K and also has cal, mag, zinc, and boron. since i will be using 2-4 gallon square buckets, i'll need alot of soil. the bag was 2 cubic feet and weighed 24 lbs. so thats 12 lbs per cubic foot of soil and was $6.97 and $9.97. heres a link to their web site, Jungle Growth. looks like some good shit and worth a try. i think i'll just go with the pro-mix when i get some.
10-16/5 pm, well its day 90 for the girls and nothing has really changed, brown leaves and all. the buds look ok for having the brown leaves, i just dont get what im missing here, soil, ph, nutes, and rain water, its just not that hard to grow a dam weed!! i took the plants out and cleaned up the box, there were dried leaves and dirt on the floor of the box so i just wanted to clean things up a little.
man i will be so glad when this grow is over, i just dont get along with this strain at all. im gonna do some research on which strain will be best suited for my growing conditions. its starting to cool down a little now so im hoping this next grow will go a little smoother over the winter. i will not give up!!
5:30 pm, this is what im working on for my next grow. i want to order some good seeds as all of my grows so far have been just mid bag seeds and then these 2 clones are from the last grow. ive been very lucky on getting females, 5 out of 6 seeds i've germed have been females. so this time, i would like to order 4 different strains and do 2 at a time of some femmed seeds. i wanna try a different grow medium and have thought about using a different nutes like like the fox farms 3 part trio. and i want to try this jungle growth soil mix. these 2 girls, im gussing 4 more weeks, that will be 10 total flowering weeks, 3 more than molly, but i'll watch the trichs here in a couple more and see where im at. venus looks great, while raven is still brown. like i said, i'll just be glad when im done with this. then i'll regroup and get my shit together for the next grow, im in no hurry, just want it to be right. so now i know i can grow and i now know how to clone, so really, im not doing to bad i guess. i just want the 4th grow to be my best so far. like i said, i'll just be glad to be done with these and this strain, the pink buds looked cool but didnt mean shit when its done, its still just crap weed. hell i would rather grow a couple more bag seed plants, but i just hate waiting 30 days to find out if it s male or female. and my luck, i would get this same strain again out of my box o seeds. although i do have some in a little baggie from some other good bud i smoked a few weeks ago i wouldnt mind trying, just the male/female thing.
10-17/1:30 pm, its day 91 and the plants look the same, i made another jug of nutes and this time its just the florabloom and jacks, we'll see if that changes anything. this bud is real light and fluffy, so i dont expect great numbers, just like molly, she was only about an oz, but hey its bud and will hold me over till the next round.
10-18/4 pm, day 92, same ole shit, i cannot stress how much i want these to be done, its to late to scrap these girls as im sure i'll get some ok buds off them, but dam!! i just dont understand whats wrong with them. now there are more leaves turning brown on venus too. this just sucks. i backed down on the nutes, only water when the soil starts to dry out, which is about every other day, the temps are ok, and the ph is good. im hoping about 4 to 5 weeks, that will be close to 10 weeks total, so mid/late nov. i didnt start flowering till day 48 since they were clones and it took so long for them to fill in. its almost 6 1/2 weeks of 12/12 and 5 weeks since flowers showed up.
10-19/5 pm, day 93, the girls are still brown. im was thinking, someone said they could be rootbound in the small 6" pots that might be the girls problem, i hate to change anything now with only a few weeks to go. the reason i used these pots was that the rootball was so small from molly (pics) compared to new beans rootball so i didnt think it hurt anything. does anyone think it would stress them to much to change to the bigger pots so far into flowering? i might change them now if it will help.
6 pm, i have 2 bigger pots to use and enough soil, so, i dont know. they'll come right out of the small pots, might just do it tomorrow any ways. i think i will use the 2 white containers, the big bucket is just big for the box. the white ones are like 2 gallons or so and fit great.
8:30 pm, ok, so i did it, lets see if it helps, got it done just before the lights went out at 8:07. in the morning, i will put some worm casing on the soil to get them some extra N for the girls, just ran out of time. made quite a mess, but i think it will help.
10-20/4 pm, its day 94 and the girls are very happy with there new pots, well, they dont look it yet, but im sure they are. i watered them this morning with some of the worm castings tea. we'll see if all this helps to turn these babies around. that was the last of the hyponics soil, i have no complaints about this stuff as im sure the problem lies with me and my nute mixtures and the girls being rootbound. i will now only use the 6" pots as starter pots and then transfer into the big pots that they finish in. there was a big ass rootball on new bean in a 10" pot, and molly and 2-1 were not big at all in 2 10" pots. thats why with the clones, i went with the 6" pots. those things i just changed to are about 2 1/2 gallons, they were kitty litter containers, i just cut the top off and put some holes in the bottom. there sitting on paint sticks in the rectangle aluminum catch pan, worked out great, i think they will be fine and i didnt spend a dime.
the big square cat food buckets were just too big, they would have taken up 1/2 the box. the pics are , new bean roots, 2-1 roots and molly 's roots. so i learned something, just transplant the first time to the big pot your gonna finish in. im gonna use those for the next grow also, there the perfect size.
10-22/4 pm, its day 96 and 7 weeks of flowering, 3 weeks to go im guessing. i think that will be enough for them, i'll still watch the trich. the leaves are still brown so nothing changed there, LoL. ok, i ordered the seeds, i cant wait till they get here, my buddy wants to do the 2 kushes first and i want the blue maturo and rocklock first. im growing them so i think i'll win, LoL. but might do the the blue and 1 of the kush first also, hell, i dont know, LoL. im just happy to be getting the good seeds!! heres the details, i ordered from herbiespicknmixseeds.com all of these are very high in thc and a good amount of cbd. i used the stealth international airmail priority deliverly with no signiture, 7 to 10 days.

10-26/2:30, its day 100, 7 1/2 weeks of flowering. i havent written much lately because nothing much has changed.
10-27/5 pm, its day 101, i just mixed my last gallon of rain water, it has not rained here in 30 days since i filled up 7 1/2 gallons on sep. 29th. so i might have to finish the grow with ph'ed tap water, which wont be bad because its almost time to start flushing with only a few weeks to go. one thing though, the buds just dont look anywheres near being done yet as they just starting really showing crystals on the buds and leaves.
10-29/1 pm, ok, its day 103 and it has been 8 weeks of flowering today. the girls still look the same with venus looking better than raven. still lots of pink hairs and raven is still putting out lots of white hairs, i dont think these girls are anywheres near being done yet.
10-30/2 pm, its day 104 for the brown girls, nothings changed. everything ive done and nothing seems to work, ph is right, bigger pots, less nutes, more nutes, straight water, and all this for crap weed, but i have to atleast finish these 2 out.
11-1/5 pm, its day 106 and nothing has changed, i was just looking at the trichs and they are still clear to clouldy. im really not sure when to pick these girls to get the best smoke from them. the pics are with my cell phone and 2 10x loops taped together. its all i have right now, still need the get a real scope. it just seems to be taking longer than the plant they came from, but they did have to reveg also. im just not sure what i want the trichs to be this time?? im at day 58, so right about the time i cut molly down. so if i go 2 more weeks any ways, thats gotta be better than before?
11-2/4 pm, day 107, its 8 1/2 weeks of flowering, i have enough nute mix left for 1 more watering and i'll give that to them tomorrow. then i guess i'll start flushing, if i go 2 1/2 more weeks, that will be 11 total. i want to get the grandma's molasses for the other grow and i figure i will use it on these girls for flushing, cant hurt?? im going to walmart tonight so i'll pick some up.
11-3/4 pm, its day 108, the buds look nice but the leaves are still brown on raven, but venus isnt nowhere as bad. i mixed in 1 tspn of molasses to the remaining nutes (only about a qt left) for the girls to see if i can give the buds a little boost for the end. i'll give it to them tomorrow or friday as the last watering then start flushing. for that, i will use store bought water and the molasses for the next 2 to 3 weeks.
11-4/3 pm, its day 109 and venus is really looking pretty good, the pink buds are just unreal, there so cool to look at. raven on the other hand is ok but still busting out those brown leaves. im hoping the molasses helps some before there ready, maybe fatten up the buds some. i just gave them their last bit of nutes, so now i flush for 2 to 3 weeks i guess. it rained pretty good and i filled the buckets up again but 1 is pretty yellow, so i dont know if i'll use that one or not. this shit just dont look ready yet, but maybe the wait will produce a little better bud. i know i picked it way to early last time. man, im so bummed about the seeds, i hope something happens soon. now im worried about the rocklock and kandykush, i cant screw those up too, i just never had this much trouble germing seeds.
11-6/1 pm, well its day 111 and yesterday was 9 weeks of flowering, no changes, venus is looking great and yes, raven is still all brown. im hoping only 2 more weeks, but if takes 3, oh well. i want the trichs amber this time, the cloudy didnt cut it last time with this strain.
11-7/4 pm, its day 112, same ole story, venus looks great, raven is still brown. both plants have little fuzzy buds at the bottom, might trim it off and see how it smokes after i dry it some.
11 pm, i trimmed all the little popcorn buds off bottom of both plants, didnt weigh it, but is about a bags worth. its drying and shrinking fast. dont how they'll smoke or if they'll do anything but its something for now.
11-8/5 pm, its day 113 for the grow that just wont end. no changes still, brown girl is still brown and venus is still pumping out the pink and the smell, dammm!! smells like a pine forrest.
11-9/3 pm, its day 114 and 9 1/2 weeks of flowering. you can see the difference between the 2. theres more pink than white on venus and still a lot of white on raven. i should have named this stuff pink panther usually the pink would fade like it did on molly, but dam, this time it just keeps pumping it out, atleast on venus, raven's a different story. still plenty of brown leaves, nothing seems to get rid of it. i smoked some of the bud i trimmed from the bottom of the twins and it not to bad. i get kind of a heady high and my vison gets fuzzy, dont if that from the weed or the nutes, but its really not bad.
11-10/3 pm, im hoping to harvest in a week and a half, but if it takes a little longer, so be it. today is day 115 and almost 10 weeks (friday) of flowering, so i'll look at the trichs then and see where im at. it should be much better bud this time letting go so much longer. its so wild the difference between the two, twin clones right off the same mother (molly) from eariler in this grow, venus is healthy and plump and raven is, well, just brown.
11-11/5 pm, day 116 of the endless grow, the trichs are all mostly milky, no sign of amber yet, so i dont know how long it will be. i know this, i wanna cut that pink bud off so bad i can tatse it, LoL. gave them a shot of the nute mix i just made for the other grow just in case, gotta keep them happy. heres the pics. one thing, those little popcorn buds i cut the other day are pretty good, been smoking that the last couple days and been very happy with it, the rest is in a jar, just seeing if it gets any better with a little cure. im gonna start watching the trichs close, i cant wait to smoke that one pink bud. im hoping for 2 more weeks.
11-12/4 pm, its day 117 and 10 weeks of flowering, man im so temping to cut that dam pink bud off to see how it dries. its not that big, about the size of a really fat bic lighter. i just might do it tonight. venus is looking real nice with that big fat main cola, the other pic with the brown leaves is the best looking bud on raven.
5 pm, its hard keeping the temp down in that box, its stays right at 84/86 which isnt to bad and down to 75 with the lights off. ive been reading up on the t-5 bulbs and i got some plans in the works for them when i get my new u-haul box. this is the 3rd grow in that box and it has seen better days. as far as the brown leaves on raven, your guess is as mine. ive tried everything and she just wont change, nute, no nutes, molasses, plain water to flush, i just dont know. what i do know is that pink bud is driving me crazy. im sure this is a sativa strain as its been 10 weeks and the trichs are just now getting cloudy, i think 2 more weeks.
8 pm, heres my plans for the T-5's in the new box, 4 single 4 footers, 1 in each corner and then still have my 10 bulb cfl fixture hanging down from the top. but again, the biggest issue with that will be heat, but dam, it would be one trick setup. thats all about a $100 away still, LoL. from what i've read on here with some that are using, they seem to like them, because of the low heat. i'll do a little more research on them and post my findings here in a little bit. got some ebay ads to do first.
11 pm, i didnt cut "pinky" off, but i did take a smaller bud next to it. has some pink but not as much. i need to trim it up and let dry, maybe by monday a smoke report. just trimmed it up, looks pretty in pink, we'll see if it dries that way.
11-14/4 pm, day 119, everything looks the same. the bud is still drying, but the hairs are turning brown, so i guess no smoking pink buds, hope its better this time.
10:30 pm, as you can see, i dont grow by the books, im off in my own little world and come up some goofy ass shit. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. ok, so i just hit the bud and its pretty good for only being cut off 2 days ago. it has just a few hairs with a pink hue still on it. i cut the tip of it off and it has a pine tatse to it, kinda like it smells. the high is heady and stoney. as im writing this and loadin these pics, i can feel it more and more. my body feels weighed down and my eyelids are heavy. so im very happy with it. im sure the rest will be better in 2 weeks.
11 pm, i gotta tell you, this shits pretty fucking good, i mean i havent smoked anything around here this good in a while. im like just laid out stoned. now i know i really screwed up picking molly at only 8 weeks, this should be even more killer in 2 weeks then. i thik thats when i'll just pick it no matter what and i get the new plants in the flowering box
11-15/1 pm, day 120 for the girls. not much to say but there still going,
3:30 pm, just took these and looking at venus, shes all cloudy but still no sign of amber yet. now raven is starting to do what molly did, turn grey, so i think im gonna cut her down now and just leave venus in there for a little longer.the one pic of venus is all a big cluster of buds under that main cola. sorry the trich pic arent better.
4:30 pm, well i cut her down and venus has the box to herself. found some premature seeds in raven, im sure its from the light leaks and the grey is fucking dust being blown in from the fans. i'll have to work on that before the others go in there. so, heres some pics. R.I.P. raven!! there wont be much trimming cause of the dead leaves, they all just fell off.
8 pm, it was only 2 or 3 of the medium size buds and nothing in the 3 big buds. but its a good amount, i'll weigh it here in a few. and im gonna work on the box for sure, ill get a new one and make it a little nicer.
10 pm, ok here ya go, 61 grams!!! wet. i took the main big buds and hung them on a coat hanger and the rest are sitting in that pan, both are in my closet in the dark.
11-16/noon, day 121 for venus and she has the pink hairs. i think 1 1/2 weeks and she'll come down too. my buds always seem dry on the outside and the stems are still a little soft, so i guess just a little crispy on the outside in like 3 or 4 days and then in the jars. i havent dried them yet to get the snap on the stems or the buds would be dust.
midnight, i took the smaller buds and just put them in jars as they were all pretty dried out already. the big buds are still hangin in the closet feel like late tomorrow they might be ready for the jars. i also took 1 of the smaller buds and took a couple hits out of the bowl and its alright but wasnt as good as the pink test bud but still should be pretty decent. i'll weigh everything again before i put the big buds in jars and its dry.
11-17/9 pm, well its all in jars now, i'll pich a bud out and test it tomorrow, this is only raven, venus is still going, maybe next friday on her. this shit now smells like black pepper, but venus still has a strong pine smell.
11-18/5 pm, its day 123 for venus and she's looking really good, tomorrow will be 11 weeks, so 1 more to go, that will be 4 more weeks than i let molly go, so this smoke shoud be tight. the bud from raven dont look the greatest but this shit aint to bad. i smoked a bowl and dam, im stoned as hell. right now in the jar it just has a grassy smell but its pretty decent, i just took a little bud out and stuffed it in the bowl. now i really have high hopes for venus going to 12 weeks, that shit should be great.
11-19/5 pm, its day 124 and it been 11 weeks of flowering. venus is looking great and she's only been getting straight water for flushing, i might add some molasses in the next jug of water.
6 pm, just took this pic of venus and she is looking very happy, i put some more soil in the bucket, i guess her roots arent that big and i need that stick holding up the big bud. i gave her some of the r/o water for a drink, she looks very happy.
11-20/noon, its day 125 for venus and she looking better than ever, looks like that big bud is gonna be a good one, its so dense. ok, total weight for raven is.......... 21 grams dry, i mean real dry, LoL. thats 10.8 of small buds and 10.2 of the bigger ones, not bad for the brown leaf girl.
6 pm, im happy as shit with that for what raven was, and its not to bad, i just hit the bowl a couple times on the way out to the track and i got a real good buzz on, still do. so thats why im thinking 2 weeks and i cut and the little ones will be ready to go into the flower box and i'll dry venus in the veg box and take a couple clones and they'll go in after drying. on the side lighting, i wanna get at least 2 of those double bulb 24" fixture to try in the flower box to start with, i want 4. the double bulb isnt much more that the single so that will be $53 for 2 of them. and the really good news!! im ordering the fox farm trio as soon as i get done writing this, LoL. $48.98, shipped from ebay!! on my plants, the little ones ive been watering every other day, i have straight water in the gravity fed jug and i just wet the soil good for like 30 seconds and then the next time, i used a gallon jug i have with like 7 little holes in the cap and hand water them with the schultz mix, again just till i soak the top of the soil, it runs right through pretty quick. on the big plant, i water, right now im flushing, but when feeding, i would go till the first inch or so is dried up and give her a good soaking like every 3rd day. i guess about a pint or so each time.
9 pm, i know should get extra clones, so that kills the party cup deal for now, im glad i didnt start it. as for the side lighting, i looked the other day at those clamp ones, i can get 4 ($27.99 of those for price of 1 T5 fixture. and a pack 4 bulbs for $8. we'll see how the cash goes as to which i get. i cant wait for the nutes, i copied your feed schedule from the other day to use.
11-21/6 pm, heres venus at day 126, she's still looking great, just under 2 weeks and she'll be done. im really hoping she'll be done dec 3rd, thats the plan for cutting her down. thanks for the heads up on the T5's, really not sure what im gonna do yet, but i would like some side lighting in there. this girl here only been getting straight water for a week and a half for flushing, she's almost done. yeah, i'll be easy with the fox farm trio for sure. these 2 girls have been in hyponics black soil and the new grow is in jungle growth soil, ive never used FFOF soil ever. im a cheap ass and not paying that much for dirt.
11-22/5 pm, its day 127, i just looked at the trichs and i seen 1 amber trich, there still all cloudy, so im hoping that the week and a half will be enough, its gonna have to be, thats when she's coming down.
11-23/4 pm, its day 128 for venus, i'll give her a week and a half and then she comes down, that will be 13 weeks of flowering for her. the buds are still looking great, she is the one from this strain that didnt get all outta wack on the leaves and buds drying out, i really hope this will be my best bag seed smoke so far, its funny, new bean was some pretty good shit but from what ive smoked from raven, i have high hopes for venus, i really fucked up picking molly at 8 weeks.
i made some changes in both boxes, i took 1 bulb and 1 Y and made the light a 9 bulb fixture, thats 8 2700k's and 1 6500k bulb, im happy with this and wont do the 10 bulb deal now. the veg box now has 3 bulbs, 1 2700k and 2 6500k's which is plenty of light for starting just 2 plants or clones at a time. im gonna work on the fans now, i havent had time to do this so i'll get it done today. the 2 new fans will go in the veg box and the 2 in there now will go into the flower box, kinda of a bummer tho, i only have 4 12v wires for 6 fans, gonna have to do some rigging here to make it all work.
5 pm, ok, fans and lights are all good to go now in the flower box. thats 3 80mm and the 10" fan for exhaust and 1 90mm, the 5" table fan and the big hole for intake. all the little fans for both boxes run off one 12v computer supply, thats a total of 7 fans. im still trying to figure out some side lighting, i'll work on that before the new girls go in.
11-24/2 pm, day 129, dam it seems like this will never end, LoL. at least venus has stayed green throughout the grow and she looks healthy and that big bud is saying pick me, pick me.
11-25/4 pm, well heres venus at day 130, tomorrow will be 12 weeks of flowering, i might just take her down on saturday, we'll see. the trichs are all cloudy with just a couple amber ones here and there.
11-26/6 pm, well, day 131 for the never ending grow, looks like i'll go another week, after that, i need the box for the new plants which will be 4 weeks of vegging on those girls. out of the 3 plants of this strain, this girl here has had the best looking buds. theres still even a little pink left on her. if i go to week 14, which would probably be best, would put the chop date at dec. 10 and vegging the new plants for 5 weeks, so we'll see.
11-28/8 pm, well, day 133, no changes, just lots of waiting but should be worth it. buds still look good and i just gave her one more shot on nitro juice and now its back to strain water for sure, 1 1/2 weeks to go.
11-29/2 pm, its day 134 for venus and she's looking good, i will probably cut her down next wednesday, that will be almost be 14 weeks. raven is way better than her mother molly and im hoping for venus to be better than both of those. i picked molly at 8 weeks, raven went 10 weeks and now venus will be almost 14 weeks when i pick her. this has all been the same strain of some funky ass bag seed that made pink buds.
11-30/3 pm, its day 135 for venus, i might just cut her down this friday now. i know im all over the road on this but were going racing on friday and sat, dec 10th and 11th. so i wont have time to do everything i need to do that weekend. when i cut venus down, i need to get the new u-haul grand wardrobe box ready for the new girls, thats lining it with the mylar, cutting the fan holes and hanging the lights, and then get the new girls in the new box and trimming the buds for this girl and hanging and drying in the veg box. then at some point, getting a couple clones started. i think 13 weeks will be good, but i just looked at the trichs and all are milky but still no sign of any amber, i guess this will have to do.
12-1/2 pm, well its day 136 and im mixing some molasses in the final flush juice she will get the next 2 days, im gonna go with a full dose in a half gallon jug, then thursday night when the lights go off, that will be it and it will be TIMMBERRR on friday night. that will give me a couple days to get the box ready for the new girls even if i dont get a new box. its a lot of work to hurry up and set it up and i'll need the veg box to hang and dry, so the new girls will just go in the flower box for another week with the lights set to 18/6. man there gonna love all of that light in there.
im gonna get an elbow and i have some pvc pipe and run the super cold air sucker into the flower box for them. its a lot colder here now that the cold front went through last night. its only 72 in the veg box with the lights right now. pics when thats done, off to home depot.
12-2/1 pm, day 137 and tomorrow its all over, venus will come down, dam after this long, i gonna miss this old girl. i just gave her one last dose of the molasses mix and may give her one more shot of plain water later tonight before i go to work.

11 pm, oh no, i have plenty, i havent been smoking that much cause dealing with the dogs, i cant fuck up!! its like having 66 kids that you have to feed, let out to do their thing and put back in the right cage, and remember what race and what dog i have throughout the night, so i dont stone down before work, LoL. so that makes for a whopping 2 bowls a day, when i wake up and when i go to bed.
12-3/noon, well, its been a long long ride for these babies but it all comes to end tonight, raven is gone but i still have a fat sack and a jar full and now this will be the end for venus. 138 days for this girl, just unreal. tonight i will take her out and start cutting the buds off and the new girls will move into the flower box for 1 more week of vegging. heres a look back at the twin clones of molly. sorry, but they didnt stay in order, the pic name is the day number.
12-3/7 pm, well shes gone, R.I.P. venus, she was a great ole girl and will be missed. and the wet weight is 94.1 grams!! the buds still have just a touch of pink to some of them. i really hope this ends up being some good smoke for as long as i have waited. there are just a few trichs that are amber. im keeping just a small bud to test out. this bud and what i have from raven should be more than enough to last till the new girls are ready.
12-4.11 pm, well the buds are drying, but there drying so fast, the humidity is only 16% kere right now and its real cool, like in the low 60's, high 50's. i think there almost ready to go in the jars, i dont want to let this shit get to dry. so i might weigh it here in a little bit and that will be it. the rootball for venus was so tiny, no wonder she couldnt stand up on her own. one more post on the final weight and a smoke report and this in the end of this thread, dam its so long.
12-5/8 pm, well, its been one hell of a long grow but now its over. the bud is ok, its smooth tatsing and burns good. the high is alright, its a mellow buzz, i smoked a bowl and i got a nice calming buzz, not uplifting but just felt real mellow and deff not a couchlock stone. i have 42 grams so i guess that should last me quite a while.
