New CFL grow using Miracle-Gro African Violet Potting Mix in 6" pots

thanks guys, i am serious, but just dont wanna get to big of a thing going, just trying to get some good weed for myself.

i'll have to check it out zigzag.
 
I got no journal but i just got home from the field :P And planted a non germinated Durban Poison Seed as soon as i see her ill start ..

ok its day 70 and tomorrow will be 8 weeks of flowering. the plant seems like the leaves are drying out and real crispy like there burnt, temp is 84 at its highest and the lights are far enough away. i dont think its the lights cause its doing it all over the whole plant. i looked at the trichs and they seem to be still clear to cloudy or milky, so im getting close to cutting all the top colas off. not sure what went wrong here towards the end, but something isnt right. the soil is still real wet from my watering screw up and thats when the problem started. over water/nutes maybe. we'll see.

thanks man, well i cut one of the middle size buds off and its drying out in the veg box with just the 2 small exhaust fans running to draw passive air acrossed it. i'll give it a couple days and try it out.

Did you chop because of the problems your having or to get some more light to the lower buds? I have no idea how much longer I have to go. I look forward to your smoke report dude.

no, i dont have a scale, hoping to get one here real quick on ebay.

well, i really just cut it off to see what its like, gettin antsy and wanna smoke some, LoL. im gonna lower the lights when i chop the 5 main buds off and let the lower ones go a few more days. maybe start cutting next friday???

yeah i feel ya im gettin ready to go crazy waiting on my girl...... u smoke that bud yet???
 
Place your trimmed buds on a cookie sheet spread out evenly. Set your oven to 125-140 degrees Fahrenheit (no hotter!). Leave for 10 minutes, remove for 5 minutes and turn buds. Repeat once more.

Rig a flat piece of 10" foil to be held under a 100 watt light bulb (no hotter) within 2-4 inches. Turn your buds every 1-2 minutes. Should be smoke-able within about 10-15 minutes time.

Take your buds and flatly wrap them in paper or use a paper envelope and place them over your water heater, radiator, or the back of your TV. Pot should be dry in a few hours or overnight.

Place buds flat on a plate. Use your microwave on 50% power or less (important not to burn). Set for only 10-12 seconds at a time, remove and turn, repeat as necessary. Done quickly, be careful.




hope that helps dry it quicker.... let em know what method u use....... i like the microwave one, it actually works
 
You Def want to wait a few days like atleast 4. It might feel crispy on the outside but it is not done till you bend the stem and it snaps. This wait is well worth it.:leaf:

thanks, cool tips, im not sure what to do, but i'll let it hang in the box overnight and see how it looks in the morning, i want to smoke it tomorrow night, so we'll see if it needs a little help tomorrow. i will let the big tops dry for about a week when i cut them tho.
 
ok guys if he had harvested his whle plant he would want to dry and cure it all the right way..... but this is just a sample, he wants to smoke it dammit!!!!!!
