oh ive just been mentally preparing what i will be doing.. going through the motions ya know ... my journal will officially begin the 13th so make sure you stay tuned :D :D

Actually now that you mention it, I did that with all of my satoris (most of them) because Mandala's site says to do it the natural way, their strains are made that way or something.

Those were the first ones to start acting up and showing the most deficiencies. :-?
 
They're bouncing back I believe, the LSTed ones are the most obvious and I repotted 4 of my biggest and sickest plants. I gave them all a nice rootball flush, one of them was definitely rootbound, but it was in a not so big clay pot. I plan on throwing most of them outdoors in a few weeks, you think I could go with keeping them in these till then?

I just don't want to transplant now and then again in 2-3 weeks. Lots of stress = :( plants

Edit: tomorrow 2nd feeding and update! :hump:

Well what I think he was trying to point out is they might take up the nutrients of the Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil at a very early age, when they don't need nutrients at all.

This may have caused the leaf yellowing and burning, but was probably from the pH.

Pictures and update in the next couple hours :)

I think you can just keep them in their current pots, untill you transplant outdoors (hopefully like 2 weeks).

I am going to be growing Satori soon (waiting for the seeds), so would you recommend germinating in the soil or with the paper towel technique?

thats what i thought. i have done them in papaer towel, just by dropping them in a cup of water, planting them in soil and in rockwool cubes.

neither seems more effective than the other. you can always reuse the soil or rockwool if it doesnt sprout
 
DAY 32

MAN do these things respond well to nutes.

I decided to up the dosage this week from 1/4 to 1/2 of the dosage :mrgreen: I know I'm crazy. Decided to give them the full dosage for Big Bloom.

3/4 teaspoon Fox Farm Grow Big
2 tablespoons Fox Farm Big Bloom

They really needed a good feeding and most of them sprung up after a few hours :blsmoke:

Looking much more healthy. Thanks to everyone that helped me ;-)

Can anyone confirm if those are pre-sex parts in the closeups?

I believe all my Satoris that survived are females! :hump: cheeeeeeeaa

My ghetto clone on the right made it too! I tugged on it and can feel roots holding it back :mrgreen:


Very excited to get these babies outdoors and see what they're capable of :eyesmoke:
 
Oh and have you thought about LST or "pinching" or "supercropping" a couple of the Satoris?

I've heard they respond really well to it, cause of their thick stems

Yea I've actually LSTed 1 satori and topped another (the biggest one as of 10 min ago).

and no, I'm growing Northern Lights x Skunk, Mandala Satori and Green House Arjan's Ultra Haze #1.

the NL x skunk are the small bushy ones, they look beautiful and respond well to nutes.
 
Well I've been following this grow for a while now and it's interesting, but if you could somehow label which is which in the pic, it would make it even more easier to understand and that much more interesting
