I decided to up the dosage this week from 1/4 to 1/2 of the dosage :mrgreen: I know I'm crazy. Decided to give them the full dosage for Big Bloom.

3/4 teaspoon Fox Farm Grow Big
2 tablespoons Fox Farm Big Bloom

They really needed a good feeding and most of them sprung up after a few hours :blsmoke:

Looking much more healthy. Thanks to everyone that helped me ;-)

Can anyone confirm if those are pre-sex parts in the closeups?

I believe all my Satoris that survived are females! :hump: cheeeeeeeaa

My ghetto clone on the right made it too! I tugged on it and can feel roots holding it back :mrgreen:

Yea I think what I was looking at was the first stages of branch/node development. I'll still be praying though ;)

I recently topped the back left huge girl: She was getting lanky and I tried to supercrop her from the nodes being spread apart, but ended up snapping the branch too much! :dunce:

Now she's just as tall as the 2nd highest to the left and should be a fun little experiment to see how many shoots come out. It's sort of a FIM/top job, still has a little bit of stem on 'er :mrgreen:

haha chowda i love all of your different pot in different pots.. hahaa .. but they are looking very pretty.. wish i had the option of growing indoors... then move them out after vegging 2 months inside or something.. that would be nice.. but yes very nice looking plants
 
as far as sexing, those were pics of the beggining internode growth, the litle spike looking things are stipules, every plant has them, makes you think you have a female lol. good luck keep it up. when are you transplanting outside?
 
I GUESS it's been a while! JeeZ!...nice job so far. The kids are looking very healthy and strong. The male/female thing gets easier each time you grow. My first experience as total newb ended up with a VERY healthy batch of males (see previous posts...). I was totally paranoid about my second attempt...watching them every day, getting the microscope out, checking the pix against the plants...etc.
But when the organs show...and you see those little hairs... it's like oooooooh... I see....
Oh...I see I'm rambling... Nice plants, Chowda. Good luch with the grow.
BTW: I just ordered some Satori myself, and a few other nice beans from Attitude from your recommendation. Got them muy pronto and with freebies. Good call, there. Best of luck to ya!

I plan on 2 weeks the earliest, 3 the latest :hump:

Saul: CHEA all I've heard are good things about Mandala. They're dedicated breeders that know quality seeds don't need to always be $100.

Man i just got my satori's last night, but i ordered from Dr. Chronic.

Gonna start a journal soon. How did the Satoris respond to LST or supercropping?

not sure bout the super cropping just did it a couple days ago, but the LST is working out fine, they don't stress for very long about a day or two.

After that they REALLY take off in growth.

Wait like a month after germination to do LST.

Plants are looking greatt. im hoping for the end of april to throw mine outside. i have 5 plants that i supercropped and theyre on week 1 of 12/12 to sex them. im gonna chop the males and throw the females outside.:bigjoint:
 
Ha yea I was out looking at spots today, I've got a couple nice ones with great camouflage/coverage from the sky and surrounding area/houses, yet light shines there almost all day.

I think my pH is slightly off. The plants have a dark brown to blood looking spots. The color of my tap water has been showing a little above 7.0 up to around 8.5. Anyone know if this is the reason?

Only reason I'm scared is it's moving up one of the plants, now it's on the newer set of leaves. As you can see there's no other foliage damage besides this weird rust/blood/brown color.

I plan on purchasing gallons of distilled water from now on, fuck it, I'm not taking any chances anymore.

there's caca on my plants. help. :(

could it possibly be burnt plants from water + light?

I wipe down all the plants if any drops get on them, but not sure if them bein a little wet after matters.
 
yea dont let them get wet chowda as it will cause burn spots for sure...tnx for droppin by my journal too :)
 
I get this wen i repot a plant and didnt brush off all the soil from the underside of the leafs, could this be the case?
 
Possibly.. I thought it might have been like dried up soil but it's not rubbing off. It's also curling my leaves like crazy!

I believe it's Mg deficiency due to pH fluctuation.

I have not once checked my pH for the nute/water mix. Very bad.

Checklist until next update:

-Cut down on feeding, maybe skip a week for the really messed up ones

-pH for water, runoff AND nute mix

- Cut nute strength down to 1/4 again.

when you feed are you using nutes every watering? it may help to go feed, water, feed, water.. because you can get nute build up in the soil which can lead to nute lock up. dont nkow if this will solve your current problem but it will prevent future problems. i still swear by distilled water. i have had almost all the same issue with my plants at first... after i switched to distilled and waited to water until the soil is dry in the first 2 inches i havent had ANY leaf issues.

We cant catch a break with this weather!!! we are still hitt'n the 30's at night and just mid 50's in the daytime. if the weather turns better over the next few weeks you think you'll have any in the ground by 5/1? my ladies are 4 weeks into flower indoors and i have 3 hermies out 10. FUUUUUUUUGGGGGGG -they arent full blown transvestites, just cross dressers. one plant has only had one pollen sack, one had about 6-8 and the last had 10+. i picked them all off and so far so good, a couple had opened already so i will have some seeds, hopefully not much. i wanted to stick the hermies outside but mother nature isnt cooperating....
