So I just got some bubble bags, just the 1 gallon size but the 8 bag set. I have not made hash before and am very excited to make some bubble hash when I pull these plants!
Lemon Skunk Day 47
White Widow and Snow Cap day 41
So today I did the last flush with lemon skunk and they will be getting just water since they are coming down in about 10 days. I also fed the white widow (clone 1) and snow cap (clone 2) nuts for the last time (well the white widow might go longer then the snow cap). I also checked the trichomes with my pos radio shack scope. LS #1 has about 1/3 amber trichs, #2 has only a few amber, #3 has about 1/4 abmer, and #4 has only a few amber as well. Very interesting to me as the #2 and #4 have more hairs turned red and look more frosted in trichomes. The Snow Cap as a few amber as well even though it's 6 days behind the lemon skunks. The widow as no amber at all. Anybody know if there is a way to take pictures seeing throw the microscope? I am using a nikon D70s DSLR.
Do you think I am going to need to let the widow go for more then 8 weeks? I read in some thread that they can need to go up to 10 or 11 weeks.
Hey Schoolie those girls are coming along nicely, LOOKIN TASTY!! i checked on my Girls last night and @ day 50 the trics are still Clear, i was told to wait the whole 10 weeks to get full maturity for indoor. GL
the widow should really start packing on now,the white families really make a big push the last two weeks,so i dont think you will need to go past 8 weeks, the strains ive seen 8 is good maybe 81/2.
Yah same here schoolie, that shet is lookin freak'n hella Yummy, props on the picture taken man, i like the close ups you can mos def see all them trics. i can see a few of them are amber.. GOOD JOB!! cant wait to see them all done! Cheers!
Thanks guys, nice to know there are people out there checkin this out. I have to say that one of my favorite parts of growing is taking pictures of the plants, incase you didn't figure that out yet.
i figure that out schoolie, what camera you using? i have a kodax easyshare it does okay but i would really like to be able to get some of them close ups like you got!! CHeers!
I have a Nikon D70s digital SLR. I have been using two different lenses, a 35-70mm, and a 105mm micro (macro). I used to use a cannon point and shoot, I think called a power shot, but this camera kicks it's ass.
yah NIkon is a very good brand that i heard.. i might have to get me somethin like that. whats the price range? do i have to buy addtional lenses to get the really up close mode? THanks
Yeah Nikon is an awesome brand. There tends to be a big rivalry between Nikon and Cannon, but really they are both awesome cameras. I got mine used for like 400 bucks. You can check ebay D70 (what I have) or if you want a cheaper DSLR you can go for a D50. There are other ones but they will be more, I would love to have a D200...
Yes you do need to buy a different lens for the micro shots, Nikon is big in the microscope and scientific world so they have some great micro lens out there but they are not cheap. They can run as much if not much more then the camera body itself.
okay schoolie, i just looked up the nikon d200, do you realize how much that cost? I'll have to do alot more then kiss'n up to him if i want that almost 3 thousand dollar camera!! wishfull thinkin i guess!LOL
haha, yeah I know it's pricy... Unless you have lots of money to blow or you're a photographer the D200 is somewhat of an overkill. D80 is a nice compromise to ask him for after you show him the D200
tricumbs are looking good on some there, nice size stalk but I'm not seeing bulk?? use co2? what do ya use for yer fluids(food)? a little more phospherous..you might be gaining time at the cost of production. check yer fluid ph too...
