Pictures do suck, lol - but the plants look good :) Don't be in a rush to pull. I usually truss them up and flag them and leave them for a week if it's early enough in the season. You must be up North a ways if you are just preflowering now. Three I had flagged as males this year turned out to be female giving me 8 out of 11 females in my unidentified group (including the 2 largest!). Best ratio I've had in 7 years of growing.

I thought I was looking at an excellent ratio for my first grow but soo far it looks like 1 male and 1 hermie out of the 6 left. 2 autoflowers females, sativa and NL indica, which isn't too bad for a first outdoor grow. :P

Since the last update, I've harvested the 2 cheese strains, the autoflower pics were taken about a week before harvest. The first plant gave me bout 10g dried, and the other cheese gave me about 16g dried.

The other 2 large ones are doing quite healthy as you see, these are today's pictures of them and the shorter NL has exactly one month til harvest, while I'm letting the sativa go til first frost since Ohio has a short growing season. I have to transplant the sativa here within a day or two because it should be starting to outgrow it's tub by now. I'm planning on a 14 gallon tub or a huge garbage bag full of my dirt medium. Let me know what you think about these. Thanks!

Shorter NL has been flowering since around July 17th and the larger sativa started flowering September 1st.

Cheese is a fantastic smoke, good stone with a bit of sativa head high.

Last night I went to my grow site to prune up the plants a little. I pulled the dead loose leaves off the sativa and took the first few branches off the bottom of the NL which happened to have a little bud on it, after trimming the leaves off it i got about 5.5g of wet bud, i'll let that dry out and cure a little then i'll see how it smokes. I reallly need to transplant that sativa and I've been very budy lately and haven't had the time with work and social life in the way lol. There's just a little under a month left for the NL and I'll let the sativa run through til first frost. Now my sativa being about 6ft now, should finish out to about 15ft when done. I need a cheap alternative to transplant because right now I really don't have the money to buy a huge tub and all that dirt etc. I need some advice, thanks.

Your plants are done gaining height (in Ohio). They will concentrate on filling out now :)

I would be reluctant to transplant this late in the season.

Hey guys, long time here without an update but I've got a quite a few pictures of what has happened in the big time span. I'll find my USB and upload them later. I harvested the northern lights about a month ago and got 2 - 2 1/2 ounces dried weight and it turned out to be a very nice smoke, somewhat trippy and fast but also relaxing since I harvested at week 8. The sativa is actually still going! There's flurries outside right now and the temps have been around 35 - 40 for the last week and the sativa is still going hard. I'll take a garbage bag and some scissors out there sometime this week to take it down.

I've been wanting to upload my pictures now that I got my computer working again but I can't get into my admin profile.. ): I've got some real nice pictures of the finished product.. fantastic high from the sativa, very uppie and motivational and very social, boy did that smoke go pretty quick.

I'll be starting a small indoor grow here soon within maybe a week. Stay tuned.
