Ivr read your post, but its been awhile... you're growing indicas and they have been topped correct?

If you dont see bugs on your leaves or in the grow medium, curled, cupped or clawing leaves, your temps, Ph, and relative humidity are good, and lights arent too close... then youre fine. Stuff like Silica can cause slow growth on a perfectly healthy plant, but im thinking you havent done that.

My plants do the same thing, and when they get older they start growing leaves like crazy. It seems like if i didnt pull leaves here and there my plants would look like cabbage. I grow in a RDWC (recirculating Deep Water Culture) fancy way of saying i grow directly into water. I also use a SCROG (SCReen Of Green) i really need to do this so i can get light to all of the plant. Without the SCROG the inside of my plant is light green and larfy.

Im sure youre doing fine. Its good to worry, but you can worry your plants to death. If the ph, leaves, bugs, and environment, are good then youre good (in this situation).

If you come in and see all your plants knawed off at the roots then you have pot beavers... theyre a bitch to get rid of. Labybugs dont work.

I have not topped them as of yet, I havent seen any bugs on soil or on leaves and not curled or clawed leaves. my ph is at 6.3 temp goes to 80 max. After installing the carbon fan my humidity dropped to 29 today morning, my leds are about 20-22" away from them. I plan on SCROG next week so hopefully in 2 week i can switch to flower

What sort of lights? Company name, and model... Sounds like you have a plan. If you have questions on topping GrowWeedEasy.com has all sorts of stuff on fimming or straight topping. Theres nothing to it. Theres also tons of stuff on nutrient and vector issues. The info there is thorough and easy to find.

So, other than your relative humidity being too low, i would say youre on the right track. I have never used a carbon fan, so i cant help there.

Im interested to see how your grow turns out. Your light height is good for now, if anything helps short bushy plants get a little taller Once they start to flower you may want to move them closer. Just beware of bleaching if they are too close. In the pictures you will find the start of a plants response to to much LED light. Because the whole plant is being affected this doesnt necessarily happen to the buds closest to the light, but it will get worse... so bad in fact that the whole bud top will grow paper white. It actually looks kinda cool, but fix it. The fix is simple just move your lights up 6 or 8 inches.

Some of the COB LED guys will tell you the fix is to buy one of their lights, but that isnt always in the cards. Run what ya brung.

Put a bowl of water in my room or in my tent?

Your tent sorry. It's not necessary but it was something a lot of people I knew back in the day did. One of my buddies used to use pop bottles and yeast for co2 like 10-15 years ago. A cheap humidifier is also an option but you'll be turning it off in a few weeks when your plants get bigger.

Agreed with adding some sort of CO2 supplement for indoor growing if you're not able to get fresh air into the tent.

I am still doing my first grow in a similar tent as you, 2'x2'.5"x5. ScrOG. Viparspectra 600 PAR.

I run DIY CO2 using the yeast method. My plants love it. It's very cost effective for such small grow space. I used an old 1 gallon Arizona iced tea bottle. Drilled a hole big enough for the aquarium tubing. Silicone sealed it. Ran it down into a 2nd bottle that's filled with water (you use it as an indicator to see the yeast/CO2 is working) then a hose coming out of the top of that same 2nd bottle down into my tent and I just shove it in the back of my fan.

Every other day I empty most of the water out except leaving the extra yeast floating at the bottom. I toss in 1.5g of yeast and 1/3 cup of sugar every other day. The water is always between 105F - 110F

I don't have a CO2 meter yet. However I did follow this all from: https://www.rollitup.org/t/myth-busters-the-real-truth-on-co2-in-indoor-grows.343918/
Which is a great read on DIY CO2. Page 7 has the break down of what to use.

I also want to add to you that this may seem daunting at first but it gets easier and it's rewarding to see your hard work pay off.

Btw I can't imagine four plants in such a small space. I struggle with my two in 3 gal pots haha. It gets tight really quick. I often find myself laying on my floor to dig through my thick canopy to pull old dead leaves or moving my colas around as she grows. My ScrOG starts at 8" above my pot. Best of luck!

P.S. If you haven't yet, make sure to purchase eye protection.

Interesting... i never thought about you running out of room. You may want to consider putting your lights on a schedule soon. If they get big now then double in size during the stretch you will go from pot plants to a pot hedge. You might want to read up on the strain. If its known that your strain gets tall in flower you might want to flip soon.

Yeah I'm running a 1000w and a cob led that pulls about 315w at the wall in a 4x4 over 3 plants right now, recently relocated and have yet to out the walls up in my basement. I was planning on running with just the 1000w but the 2 bigger ones choked out my little one a bit and she needed a better light source.

Had some bug issues this time around but it's a new place and it's not well sealed at the moment but they've been growing well inspite of it all. My roots got chewed up by aphids and my temps have been a little meh, but they bounced back pretty nicely for me considering we had a serious discussion about pitching them. Also tried new soil and we switched more towards the organic end. So all around theres been a little learning curve this grow lol. Excuse the lights on and ghettorigged setup. Moving is expensive, so all I had this go around was what was on hand at the time. This is the beginning of week 4.

This is how my setup looks now. Am i doing an ok job so far?

Looks good man. The only thing i can see that i dont like, and this is personal preference, is the size of the squares on the SCROG. Again this is just me.... I like the squares 4". Big squares dont seem to hold the plant down very well. And it takes forever to fill because the leading edge of your branch would much rather grow up then stretch and stay under the next line.

Your set up looks good. Time will tell how well it all works out... I think youre good.

They are looking good, If your not going to use that netting as a scrog net then maybe remove it and use it later as a support for the flowers once they get dense.
