Did the 301b boards drop? I can't find them on the HLG site?
They are listed as v2Did the 301b boards drop? I can't find them on the HLG site?
We are working on making the site a little more intuitive. Thanks Corey, I'm an idiot. I wasn't reading the listings all the way through, I found them.
Is there anyway to get Paypal affiliation? Since your products aren't directly connected to Cannabis cultivation, it might be a worthwhile consideration. Even if you applied a minor markup to cover Paypal expenses for the transaction, it would offer many buyers 6 months zero interest. We are working on making the site a little more intuitive.
We actually just got that approved I believe I'll check with @robincnnIs there anyway to get Paypal affiliation? Just a thought.
Nice, as soon as you get it up I'll place my order. I'll be building a few cabs in the immediate future so this is great timing! I know I'm small potatoes right now but hopefully one day I'll be outfitting a much bigger grow.We actually just got that approved I believe I'll check with @robincnn
Hello....Any more word on QB132's or QB120's in 2700k or 3000k..?We are working on making the site a little more intuitive.
I think they will be in stock in a couple of weeks or so.Hello....Any more word on QB132's or QB120's in 2700k or 3000k..?
There many growers sprinkled around RIU that jumped on the Chinese knockoff train ....Anyone using these quantum boards from meijiu in a commercial application? If so, would they pass permit inspection for electrical?
Apart from the zeus, which are decent boards. I cant believe people actually buy these replicas. I got some samples done a while back when i was going to do my own boards/strips and not one passed a visual quality inspection, nevermind electrical. There many growers sprinkled around RIU that jumped on the Chinese knockoff train ....
Here is mostly the HLG “ real “ QBs .... those you mention among others , like zeus , wavy , chow Ming bing bong are of questionable performance. They SAY they are using a certain component but because one gets a TESTER or Factory Sample board doesn’t necessarily mean they are of any value. Questions for your board choice should be directed to the “ manufacturer “ which is in mainland China .... probably next to the noodle kitchen. Mass produced clones ar3 there for cheap easy sales ... in bulk or by resellers. They are NOT DESIGNED to be bulletproof, and run all over the place in quality.
HLG “ matches “ board sets in Vf voltages as to ensure compatibility and prevent variables in each board. Chinese Wang Chung boards do not as I would be afraid to run more than one board .... thermal runaway , solder mask , sub standard b-stock leds , actual knockoff chips of supposed chips used , etc.
When you get HLG ... you get exactly what you paid for .... plus ...... customer service is stellar.
You will absolutely NOT get that with any other VERSION of the QB.
But you will also be paying twice the price.. for a 10-20% better perfomance at most with hlg.. knock off are worth it for many of us.. it has ben documented in many thread on this forum and they grow good and due to a very simple concept: led on a board - failure rate is extremely low (i can probably count on 1 hand the number of issues ive seen with chinese board).. to each their own but they are not as bad as some people think they areThere many growers sprinkled around RIU that jumped on the Chinese knockoff train ....

well, i could buy 5 more chinese boards and still have enough money left over for 5 more ... so of course he's happy to replace a board for you no problem, you already paid him for 10 ... and here's a little hint .... HLG boards are made in chinaSee what happens when a China board breaks and when an HLG board has an issue...
hey @EmeraldØsiris when i purchased my chinese boards i got the exact same style (304s) and they are powered by the exact same drivers (HLG-320-C1400A) as my HLG quantum boards ... i don't have a PAR meter but i can use a smartphone LUX meter and compare the chinese boards to the HLG boards and see how close it is ... but i also told meijiu i had heard rumors of swapping out diodes and that i was only placing a small sample order to check quality before making a large order - so i may have received different diodes... i definitely did not receive the B or B+ but i think mine are S5 instead of S6I still haven't seen a side by side grow of a HLG and a Meijiu
Ive had things from Meijiu and the quality is good.
