New to Smoking & New to Growing

Ok not sure where to start, how about the beginning, The first sign of the brown tip, that was over watering. Over watering does another thing, stops the air from getting to the roots by compacting 'stuff'. The water you apply should be taken away by a healthy root system. Picture the little baby girl and the tiny roots. doesn't need much water. Think in terms of pussy moist (not my quote but an effective description me thinks), not too wet, not too sloppy. Next - A seed can take care of it self for a bit - no nutes. In general I think you made the classic mistake. Over Water, started drowning, tried to save with some nutey thing, badda Bing badd boom, dead plant. Remember these things grow on their own. Give em light, a bit of water (how often does it rain in nature?), Air and the right temperature - its in the 70's where these plants grow. This is a great hobby, enjoy the journey

thanks for that, im thinking you are correct about what i did. my current water is sitting at about 6.5 so i dont think itll be bad pH'ed water i was previously using if this water pH reading is good.
so i guess i drowned her then burnt the shit out of her with two nute feedings (-.-) oh well you live you learn! :)

Woah holy crap thats a long flowering period. Im wondering if thats actually the whole grow and flower though due to it being an auto! If so you'll be wanting it to hurry up and grow man or you'll have to pull it up early!

im not pulling anything! :P ill find a spot for her for when my inspection is up, maybe hide it at the oldies house haha

i took it out of the pot as gently as i could and clean her, and the misses suggested to put the holy plant in her holy bible to try and dry it out :) hopefully ill have enough patient to leave it be and dry out good enough to do something artsy with it haha :)

Just a little update, she is nice and healthy and i hope she stays like that lol
I've learnt my lesson from the last plant about over watering and using seasol too early on

13th day into it and all signs are good Haha, i haven't drowned her yet and her leaves are very perky and trying to reach foot the light :)
The pH tester ive got now really helped get her some nice safe water :)

Nice one mate, well done :) she must be on her third set of leaves by now yeah? Glad to hear she's kicking along and her leaves reaching for the light means she's very happy :)

The third set of leaves are there but they are small, getting bigger and bigger by the day just slowly.
I'm going to be patient this tinge and not seasol or over water, the water pH level is good, the temp and humidity is good and the light is nice and close and not burning.
So everything is set, she just seems like a slow grower for the moment :)

Good stuff man, sounds like she's coming along well. Wait until the 4th set of leaves are coming out before you give it a light dose of ferts :)

i just noticed this, not sure what it is but im not going to get over paranoid about it just yet!

it was hard to take a clear picture of it, but it looks like two small brown/purple spots on the edge of one of the leaves

Yeah I'm hoping its nothing major
She shouldn't really be deficient in anything right now as she is still too young for nutes as far as i know

I just checked and it had gotten just a little bigger on the leaf and i can just make out that it's starting to happen to the other sides leaf.
Is there such a thing as water burn? Maybe I'm over watering again. I've filed a second jiffy pot with coco to the same level so i can use it as a guide and let me know how heavy the plant odd compared to the spare pot.

That way I'll only water when it's dry like the test pot
