Hey CK, yea really really delayed down here ay. all my mates are spewing they've usually harvested by now but they've still got at least a month. we had a 6week stint of crap weather and very overcast everything started to flower then out came the sun and everything bloody revegged a bit!! also up until the last couple weeks the days have stayed unusually long for some reason? the light just lingers forever at night wasn't getting dark till 10.30-11pm and light again at 530-6 am so that didn't help.
your guy plants ar all miles ahead of anythg iveseen down here. and theyre mostly indicas here too. hopfully the mould stays away ill be away for 2weeks starting the 27th, theres a high chance I could come back to black mushy plants. hopefuly a big wap or red head will lessen the blow. a mate of mine has same strains as me growing 15mins up the road,they haven't even got any buds on them yet!! this season is crazy as.

i love that hash CK, im going to be doing a monster extraction this weekend if i get time. i have a few oz of popcorn bud i want to run through the tumbler. first though i think im going to experiment with some old school methods. there is a traditional morrocan method im dying to try out, i have all the stuff i need just waiting on the popcorn nugs to dry right out, i want them super crispy so those trichs just drop right off.

Wonder how efficient that is, i'm keen on doing some hash instead of making oil next harvest. I just pour my bag of trim on the table and collected the kief when ever i wanted some hash.

It wasn't actually to bad down here a we bit of wind with some a decent amount of rain and really warm. 17 one night lol Its still warm down here got 26 today and aiming for 27 tomorrow.Yeah man the Panama is a must grow strain. They're on track for sure bro, by may they should have some decent buds by may.
Not too bad ay, only 30 or so mm's and only a 65 k max gust. real warm and humid at the moment, getting like 14-18 night temps and 24+ days. How bad was it down there.
Organic is always the way to go with Ganja, just can't beat the taste and health that comes from organic soils,teas.
Not too sure how much I'll get, 3oz's would still be algood and nobody but my dad and best mate are allowed to smoke it, I'll stab anyone else who comes near it lol
All I can say is that I'd pay $400+ dollars for an ounce of Panama. African stuff never looks flash but is 5x better than our herb when it comes to the high.
Your plant looks good for this weird season, survived some extreme temp changes and wind so that's good. Nice frosty buds by the looks, how dense is it?.

Its around week 5 so im aiming to harvest in another 2 - 3 weeks. So around the end of March/start of April. I want the plant to have a few sunny days towards the end to give it a nice little finishing of.
The fan leaves are slowly yellowing of towards the top of the plant so thatl suite me for the last few weeks, no more N for her!
Im gonna stop feeding it a week before harvest and give it regular rain water for a miniature flsuh.
Woah that Taskenti is looking frosty! Maybe just give it a bit more time and if the rot is any worse next time you go up just give it the pull? Did you pollinate both of the red phenos? Looking good

honestly the amount he got from that small amount of trim in what 5 min? im guessing its pretty efficient, i bet he could bash that out again and get loads more too. plus a dry exctraction is so much better than bubble hash IMO. i ont be doing the hand press though you can bet on that. i will take my little hash press out and jam it in the vice squeeze it down as hard as i can and hit it with the oxy to heat it up. rock hard high quality black hash guaranteed

Yeah I'm keen to do a dry ice extraction from the Taskenti sugar leaves, seen people getting ounces of kief from little amounts.
I agree that dry extraction is better, seen that unbelievable Moroccan hash on strain hunters. Bubble bags is a lot of work, I worked my ass off just for that amount.

the only trouble with dry ice, besides the fact you have to fuck around and go get dry ice and all that shit is that if you work it too hard you end up with too much leaf matter in your hash. it can be good if your carefull though. bubblehash really is a lot of work no matter how you go about it but a drill with a paint stirrer takes the labour out of it at least but its still always messy and cleaning the bags is a bitch.
my dry tumbler is working amazing but just takes so long, this morrocan drum thing looks sweet and i think after i smash it up like that i can drop it in my tumbler and get all the last little bits out.

Just a turkey baster off trademe and some newport butane. Got a nonstick mat for it as well which makes life alot easier.

Probably those light hours screwing with everyones plants, what latitude are you at?. It's even delayed up here for some plants. 10:30-11 is freaking crazy mate, we don't even get that much on the summer solstice up here. Mold is really starting to hit up here, seen some other persons grow with rot 3/4 the way up most plants. Might have to go cut me a couple nugs as it's all going to be gone by the weekend from rot anyway so I may aswell
.Weird as how all the Indicas aren't near ready down there, you guys will be harvesting indicas in the sativa season which is out of it. I'm going to harvest my indica before I go away, risky leaving your plants alone for 2 weeks at the end of march! bound to be rain in that 2 weeks. Yeah people in auckland pay ridiculous amounts for high quality, I'd say there would be people willing to pay $500 an oz up there. Yeah the red hairs would get people going especially if it's a proper strain.You're right, last year your plant would have been 8-10ft, Malawis are only 7' and would have been double that last year lol. I got a loupe for ten bux and checked the trichs on my frisian buds today and they are all clear, not suprising lol. still has a good high and smell, but not too long lasting high. going to check them on the kushberry this weekend. if the majority are milky then shes coming down. its amazing how they look close up :0 never seen it like that before.

as for my dry sift i made a little tumbler. it was pretty cheap and works a treat, the process is slow, i run it all day to get my hash sometimes i run it all weekend but at least its low maintenance once its started i dont have to worry about it until i think its finished.
heres where im at right now. i will get a shot of my NL on the weekend but try not to get too excited its pretty humble compared to my indoor stuff and all of your epic outdoor action.

Was expecting things to have dies down by now but its not to bad. They had potash but garden barn over charges on everything,that same bag of potash you got from mitre 10 I think it was cost way more at garden barn so I just settled on the other shit haha They had a good selection like all the earth juice stuff and shit but I dunno how that all works.
Fuck that paying 500 bucks! Ive heard of people paying 500 for a 32gramer of skunky as stuff but still I wouldn't pay that around here. Maybe if it was Panama or some shit

Yea I wanna get it prime as when its at its best potency I reckon that's the way to go. The smaller older trichomes have few milky and a couple amber but still mostly clear. Alot of new bigger trichomes are still coming through and forming, damn they look so weird like little mushrooms or something lol Amazing as to look at ganja up close with the x60 and especially at x100 with all the little hairs, trichs, sap and all that. Ill probably just stop feeding about a week before harvest for peace of mind and give it straight rain water.
Taskenti looks frosty as how do you reckon itl smoke compared with the indoors? Stinky pinky hahaha Malawi x Panama? Thatl be an interesting combo, gonna give them a try next season?

The sativas are looking good CK. Mine are starting to smell "hazy" now instead of the sweet dank of the indis Im growing.
Heres a couple of pics of my 2 lemon twins out back. These were from a friends bagseed and like I said they smell kinda lemony.
Germed mid Dec. Im thinking about 3 to 4 weeks but Im going to try and leave these as long as possible since im least worried about these 2 being ripped being in my back yard and all.
What do you guys think of my converted dog run?
