I have a 2amp power supply (ac adapter). 80% would be 1.6amps. My fans pull .14amps a piece. 11 fans = 1.6 amps. I only need to run 10. So basically this one power supply should be sufficient enough for all 10 fans. Correct?
Yes. Like with my diy light, I used 4 140mm fans that each required 0.5a to run. So I got 2 MW apv12-12's that each put out 1amp.

Are the 6s for screwing down cob holder and 10s for the reflector or vice versa. It appeared on GreenGenes 200w cree build he only had 2 holes drilled and tapped per cob holder

Whats the area youre running these for? It would be great for a 5x5 thats for sure. Im not sure on DB for 90CRI 3000K... I didnt think those were out. Active cooling would be what I suggest.

I got all that bro. I'm ready to rock. I'm actively cooling each heatsink with 2 140 mm coolmaster fans. I was thinking a 4×8 grow space but I have no problem going smaller. But I know several people running this number of cobs in the same size grow space and killing it. What do u guys think on the size room to put these babies in. I was just about to purchase a 4×8 tent. Let me know yalls thoughts. Cobs are 3000k 36v BD 90cri. And YES!! I did drop a chunk $ on all these supplies. Just wondering how much my first yield might be. We'll soon see. Any guesses for fun?

sounds like a solid plan and based on the info @MeGaKiLlErMaN posted it looks like you will have more than enough light in there for a 4 x 8 it should kill it

started using our ghetto home made 700w 3 cob side light the other day looking at it may make you feel better about how good your light looks when your done, lol

All gonna be up top. 5 bars of 4 cobs. Outside bars mounted 12 inches to center from outside walls. Middle bar mounted at 48 inches ( center of grow space). Now I will center the other 2 bars in between the 1st and middle fixture then the second between the 5th and middle fixture. Light should be evenly distributed with this setup

it`s about 800mm or so away from the plants, they already have a lot of light was hoping to squeeze a row of short plants in front of the side light

just testing the temps hit 28c today, see if it stays under 32c tomorrow then next week I might move it closer or put another row of plants in front of it

My analog light meter was off the gauge @1m by 1.5m half way drops off around 2m it`s mostly to fill out the bottom buds and add heat for the winter, plants are a bit small still from losing a batch due to a fan crapping out in the summer so should help dry the pots out faster, lol

Just starting to research the COB LEDS and considering building one. I haven't been able to find anywhere what the coverage is for one COB. Can anyone answer this for me or direct me to a chart of some sort. Thanks.

You don't want just one, the benifits comes from the overlapping light and even distribution. But you can use the LED calculator to find this info.

Try running at 86F it's the optimum for photosynthesis. Check my signature.
