yeah I shoot for 25 to 38c depends on plant size vs pot size and how funky stuff starts to smell

Bout to start my build this weekend guys. What size tap for the M3 screws. Should I use 16 or 18 awg wire. Soldering gun, heatshrink. Might get some half inch flex and one holes to keep this bitch professional looking. Some zip ties. Still haven't ordered my ac adapters for my fans but can get those in 2 days through amazon. I just need 2 2amp adapters for 10 fans. Is there anything else you pros can think, I mean anything. Any tips to make this as smooth and quick as possible. Definitely gonna get a center punch so holes are all dead nuts for every cob holder. If u can think of it please mention it. This is truly going to be a beautiful creation once constructed. FUCKING STOKED!!!!!!

5-7/32" drill but for 3M self tappers.

Can I also use 4-40 button head screws. That's what GreenGenes used for his 200w cob build
I meant that youll need either a 5/32" OR POSSIBLY a 7/32" Depending on the screws. Here's a link to the exact ones I used that I know for a fact will work with one of those 2 sized bits.

So cheap. Takes a while to ship, but they worked great for me.

Do I need to do any prep work to my heatsinks from heatsink usa? Basically any sanding and polishing

The tapping shit sucks. It's so damn time consuming. Can I not just drill a bigger hole than 440 and just use a small bolt and nut for each cob holder

It's hard to respond to this without being harsh.
I told you this would be tough and pointed you to a great alternative from @Greengenes707 . I even included a link to his video. @Airwalker16 gave you another simple alternative. It looks like you won't listen or take simple advice,.
Drill as many holes in your heatsinks that you want. Shove bolts through and try to get nuts on them as they protrude alongside the fins. Knock yourself out.
The smart people are doing it one of the the easy ways, and sharing their ideas.

I appreciate your concern but my idea is working out using 1.25 inch 6/32 screws with lock washers and nuts. Fucking amazingly easy. All heatsinks and cob holders drilled to 9/64th. Got them all done in about 2 hrs. Already installed some of the cobs and holders and guess what? LIKE A GLOVE!!!! There's about a half inch in between fins. The holes drilled are dead center between 2 fins. If u can't get a 6/32 screws and nut in a half inch area then obviously there's bigger problems at hand. I'm a licensed journeyman Wireman and have been for 14 yrs. Building and designing things is my passion. Sometimes I like to try new approaches at things. Sometimes they work out sometimes they dont. Luckily this time everything went smoothly. This was easy as pie

Even if I would've listen to Airwalker16 or GreenGenes I would've still been drilling and tapping. I did it my way which was faster and eliminated all tapping. Not saying their way is wrong but my way suits my needs. U do u and I will do what's best for me.

Should I use arctic silver thermal paste or thermal pads. I just want easy removal if I need to replace a cob in the future
