newbie drip system questions

i made a diy dipp system..and whenever the pump stops and the table drains as much as it can a little puddle usually stays in the middle and almost out to the edgdes and all the cubes sit in this water .. will this drown my roots .. which at this point still havnt reached the bottom of the cubes "see photo"

I dont think it will drown them but is the table at an angle so it drains off?

no the drain is in the middle becuase of the grooves in the tray i couldnt drill a hole for the drain fitting anywhere else ...

To be honest, its probably not good for the drain to be in the middle if its making a puddle, maybe you could make a drain at the end of one side? that would be my best guess.

I would plug the drain and make a new one at the end of the table then raise the other end an inch or so and you should be good. If you cant plug the drain just run a hose from it to the res and any that happens to get in it will not run on the floor.
