Yeah that's what I stuck to with my tomato plants over the summer. I have some liquid fertilizers but probably gonna stray away from those.

Nothing so far. They're just In a compost, miracle potting soil mix right now. Planned on mixing compost ocean forest and happy frog tomorrow in my 5 gal pots. Not sure whether to order fabric pots and need some type of drainage trays to catch the run off since they are just in my closet on a dog cage atm lol I did add some bone meal a few days ago to the top of soil but that's it
I'd just put them straight in the FFOF. Save the compost for top dressing later. When you add the compost later it's not a bad idea to add some extra aeration at the same time to kinda lighten it up.

For nutrients I'd just get whatever's local. Dr. Earth, Down to Earth, or whatever. BAS has some good stuff too, but it's more expensive. I'd mix the compost mixture with the nutrients and perlite or pumice or whatever you use together before top dressing. Remember organics take awhile to break down before they become available. And use as big of a pot as you can. Good luck. :bigjoint:

The search bar is your friend here! Start a journal and share updates. Just remember to take pictures with normal light. I'd also always examine them the same time you take photos. Last thing, if its possible reconsider your light, if its possible exchange it. Plenty of QB style lights out there that allow you and the plant a better experience. Good luck.
