Hi dudes, first post and excited to get some feedback by you, don't bee too hard :)

I just built my first grow tent, 40cmx40cm120cm by secret jardin, smallest that I found, as I want it just for one plant (automatic white widow)

I got an extractor fan, another fan for air circulation and a carbon filter.

I purchased the lamp suggested by a friend:

- 5600 lumens
- Agro 5U
- 125 w
- 2100K

As u notice it's a cold lamp.

Now it's summer and I think it should be okay to grow my first baby with the current setup I ve, I will use this lamp for growing and flowering, what do you think?

Im concerned for the winter as the room where the grow tent is placed may reach 5 degree during night, with big temperature differences between day and night.

What can be the result in such condition?

Is totally useless to give it a try during winter without heating system? and if so which SAFE system (super safe) should I go for, considering that my grow tent is so small...

I really want to avoid any risky solution and the idea of an heater in such small space concern me a lot..

Are you
I know it's a basic question, but I honestly I can't get any clear idea about this :-(
growing indoors ? If so if you have keep the inside of your house / room warmer then you wouldn’t need to heat the tent. You can get a tube heater which use little electricity.

Thanks a lot for your reply! It's in the attic! no heating in the attic...and it can be really cold during winter.

Are the tube heaters safe in such small tent?

Also what u think of the lamp I purchased? Good enough for both the phases?

No idea on your lights and set up I am a newb myself. Growing in the garage in a tent so I am looking for heaters too. The tube heaters imho seem to be the best as the are made for small spaces like sheds and cupboards. A small oil filled rad would be ok but much more expensive to run. I would look at insulating around to tent using cell text to try and keep the heat in. Two of those either side would be ok for you.

Hi there, I have a similar size room and use a 40w tubular heater. It's OK during lights off periods during the warmer seasons but be wary mine would still struggle to provide enough heat if temps dropped into 5-6 degrees during lights off. Especially with an extractor running. Definitely go for two, as I thought one would easy be enough.

Okay guys, at least with one or two we should be okay....

The main thing is about how safe they are used in such a small place. I'm going to buy also a temperature reader so I'll be able to monitor it and check how to keep it balanced between night and they...

Is there anyone that can give me a quick feedback about my current setup (at least during Summer) and in particular about the lamp, as i'm going to use it for both phases growing and flowering and I'm not 100% sure it is the best idea..
