Right ho,
I jumped in with both feet today and found my little guys had gotten a little warm but as they were severly stunted I transplanted them any way, ive not got too much hope for them so ive planted 2 more low ryders straight into the soil as back ups.
Ive been giving some thought to the problems people have with light on the roots in clear pots so the plastic pots are another benefit!
I did have the strip light across the back but read that the underside of the leaves are very sensitive to light so ive moved that to bounce the light from the top down the back of the cab.
On the lighting issue I have been victim to "the 'Bay" and invested in 400W`s of cfl`s finest in 2 bulbs. I think that one lamp will end up in the current cab, but the other one might find its new home in a PC case
There are fans on their way, 3 to be precise!
Ive now got 5 on the go:
the 2 original paper germinated, "special", stunted plants now in 5" pots
2 new low ryder seeds, germinated in the soil (under black plastic pieces to keep out the light.
1x bag seed (already planted in a glass tub
) ive got a piece of reflective plastic over the top but there might be some light getting in.
I hope this perks things up a bit. I might get another couple of seeds started in paper and then if the current cab doesnt work to plan then theres always the pc case.
I have not used any nutes for a good few days now.
Take a loot at the pics and tell me if there is anything im missing?
I dont seem to get many replies in this forum, not sure if its cos im a noob of cos im asking the wrong questions, would it be bad forum etiqute to start a new thread in the indoor forum?
