Newbie

hey so i'm pretty new to this whole scene right meow. i'd like to know a couple of things. first off, how many hits from a regular bowl of decent weed does it take you to get baked? also, is there a plant that grows fairly small but is still potent? and where would i get such a seed and for how much?

ya i have, but i didn't get baked, and i don't want to waste any of this wonderful herb.

man, why are you worrying about growing when you;re just learning to smoke?

growing takes patience, knowledge, luck and some bucks.

if you're a beginner and not getting high off of one toke you are doing something wrong. after you used awhile your tolerance will increase and you will need more weed to get high.

reasons why you might not be getting high:

you are swallowing the smoke instead of inhaling it. if you haven;t smoked before its fairly common to swallow.

your weed is shit - did you get it from a friend or a dealer. dealers can smell newbies and give you their leftovers

ah thats why. i kept swallowing. also i wasn't taking very big hits. i am very new to all this. only done it once, liked it, but i was out. my bro had just given me what was left over (about a bowl full). the growing isn't particular, i was just curious about that. but to the smoking... i was just taking in small amounts into my mouth first, then inhaling the smoke with some air, holding for like 3 or 4 seconds, then exhaling. am i doing something wrong?

just inhale the smoke into your lungs hold for 10 to 15 seconds and repeat. If you can't figure out how to get high maybe you should hold off on the growing!

Seriously tho...this forum seems to be geared mostly toward cultivators of heirloom quality cannabis.

Someone whose never been high, hanging out here, asking questions of marijuana dons, is a bit like someone who's never bought a house, but whose been to an open house and is interested in becoming a real estate agent in kansas, having business lunch with donald trump and his homies in the big apple.

Again, I'm not taking you down, I'm illustrating a facinating opportunity for you to be elbow to elbow with - and learn a lot from - some fantastic farmers.

Do what you want, cause that's what we do, anyhoo...but before you start asking questions that are the equivilent of 'how do i wipe my own ass?' hit the forums and just read for a few hours.

before you ask a question of 'how to grow' of the forum, ask google to see if the knowlege is already out there. It probably is. Especially covering the basics...

Pretty much, if you get good and saturated with weed lingo/knowledge, you're going to be in a better place to ask an intelligent question... that way people won't just mess with you cause you're new, they'll see that you know how to wipe your ass, and that you're looking for a bidet! (I don't know, man...I get high and get lost in the frikkin metaphor)

A good first question for you may be: how do I ingest cannabis in a fashion that will get me high?

I recommend a bong. pull carb. Double perk, if you can find it. The reasons are as follows:

1. With a bong, you won't need a huge hit, and it's hard fuck up smoking weed (you're not a clinton, are you?) and 'swallow' a bong hit...

2. Pull carb can be operated by a buddy who (in theory) will pull it when the hit is thick, white and ripe...

3. Double perk will cool/filter the smoke twice, making it that much easier for fresh, pink lungs to handle the probably harsh weed you're packing bowls of.

OK lol good advice. hopefully when i get some more weed i'll be able to finally wipe my ass lol. I'm not really sure why i am posting these questions here, other than its the first site i came to. and as for the wonderful herb part, i just heard it on the internet so i thought i'd use it. and the first time i used it, i did feel SOMETHING, but i think it was just a body high, if there is such a thing. i mean, i got this tingly feeling all over and felt wierd but good. not sure what you would call that? couple more questions. shoulde i take as big of a hit as i can? and if so, sorry if this is kind of a dumb question, how do i pull in enough smoke to get a good enough hit? i am really noob to all this stuff, first time i smoked it i used just a ceramic bowl. and again, the growing part was just a curiosity.

Check out Lowryder or Lowryder 2. Nice short plants and they grow from seed to harvest in about 2 months! No messing with the photoperiod either.

Lot's of sites on the net. I use Dr. Chronic but a lot of folks have had bad experiences with them. I think rollitup recommends Nirvana but not sure if they sell Lowryder.
