Quick update! I'm starting to notice a few amber trichs n some of the buds... harvest here we come soon!! I'll probably start flush tomorow or Sun...


How long do I have if trichs are just now turning amber (about 5%) if I want to harvest at 50%...???

Remember to harvest at that certain high you want. The amber trichs are a bit tricky I have found out. Don't wait until all of them are amber. Remember that there are problably a lot of amber ones already and the more you wait for the others to catch up the less thc the amber ones will have. Don' wait too long leggo!

thats an xcellent question netpirate. i love the couch lock high and wont like 90% trich's. iv found that once you get a fer,like 5-10%, its takes a while for all the others to change to amber. do u know of a way to hurry these other 80% of trich's to go ahead and change. i wont the most thc that is poss. which in my case with these babes is 23%

I'm more of a 'head high' guy I guess, but after having some of these early testers, pure head high is okay, bit weird I'd say... So Im just going to go for the basic 50/50 split...

Day 54 of Flower:

FLUSH!

Yesterday I did my last res change with pure pH'ed water and flushed out the roots...!! It was a good feeling, home stretch!! I frgot hot much 'pH Down' I needed when i wasnt using nutes

After I got the girls back in the closet, they were leaning hard forward, not sure why, so I had to do some more fiddling (and a little scotch tape HAHA) to get everything back upright and close to the HPS

OH! When I brought the out of the closet to do the change, I saw them in 'regular light' and saw how beautiful these buds are, they are full AK-47s I'm sure of it!! (well 90% sure) They are a light light light green, with that sandlewood undertone, nice and strong, cant wait for them to dry and cure eek

Now just waiting on Amber and all of her little friends to visit my trichs.. right now only about 5-10% (if that) of my richs are amber, but now we are in the 53-63 days to harvest AKs... any day, just a few... I'm say Wednesday maybe?

Awesome leggo. Im kinda into the head high myself bro.Cant wait to see them after u trim them up and dry um. I was just checking mine out. I think im getting close now. been getting frosty since i got my ph right and started putting on some frosting.Alot of the lower buds are ready i think im gonna chop them and let my colas go till they start catching amber..Some amber on some of the colas.hopefully i can start flush in 2 weeks.

Most of the pistils on my colas are still white, while everywhere else they have turned orange/brown.. is this normal?? I have been finding amber trichs on the colas though :-/

Yea its normal the lower sites have always turned before the tops do.
Just got done choppin more tester nuggies.

Should I still chop colas with white hairs? If 50% trichs are amber?

yes leggo. if you have amber the female is depleting. take her at 50% amber nomatter what

so the amber trichs are a sign of the female losing thc so when is it the strongest? 50%

after all has became milky and they start to become amber, the thc is dyeing and turns to make cbd% like mine is 1.5 and i think thats pretty high. so the answer would be yes right when you start to see the ratio of amber is 50/50. i would def. pull at longest wait another 2 days or so. it will make you feel so high it kinda makes you feel heavier and is a couch lock high which is what i like. what i do is take a few buds at 5% amber and let the others continue about a week. then i get a little bit of both and you really can tell a big diff.

Nothing much to report today... just waiting on more amber trichs... couple more days!!!
